Review 1：The apartment had a strange smell and was located just above an evangelical church whose devots chanted and screamed from 7pm until 12pm. The staff informed that they knew about this situation and that they had had other complaints yet they failed to prevent this or even to inform prior to arrival, if that was the case probably i would have chosen to stay elsewhere

Review 3：We had two apartments. In one the washer was not working, and could not be fixed. We were given the option of using our friends' washer or the hotel washer during hours of 0800-1700...just when we planned to sightsee. One friend had to return to US because of an illness in her family. Hotel management refused to refund cost of breakfast...they said they would finally, but the refund has not been credited to my account yet. The other apartment shower was very slow..fixed after complaining. we could only access wifi when we sat outside. Cockroaches in bedroom!!! One friend had several small bug bites after sleeping...thought to be bug bites. All in all, I would never recommend this hotel!
Review 4：The young lady who checked us in was very helpful. Relatively close to Horta which made it easy to walk into town.
Review 5：There were a lot of disturbances in the local area. A home alarm, a rooster crowing all hours every night, and a loud, early Sunday morning church service directly below our room. We also had an issue with mildew smell of our bathroom.

Review 9：Location in front of a fitness centre, music from morning till evening! Roosters in front of bedroom crowing from 3am! Not clean! Old fashioned! Pico-view only possible from the bedroom, at the behind side!
Review 10：In Room 2B you have to sit in the doorway (!) in order to access wifi. No coffee maker in the kitchen. the Italian expresso maker was missing its handle, so useless! We arrived bit early for check-in and they insisted we wait till 2:00 pm on the dot. We left our suitcases in a side room and returned an hour later-- the walk is uphill from town, so not as convenient as in-town hotels. They provide instant coffee only (we brought our own ground coffee).

Review 12：The Internet didn't work at all and they said that always happened on that specific apartment but didn't let us know before. It was a bummer because I actually needed it for work!

Review 17：Verdemar surprises its guests with water, fruits, a chocolat. The appartment was spacious and clean. There's an equipped kitchen, livingroom, comfortable bedroom and a enormous bathroom with even a laundry-machine at disposal. Friendly staff, location near the centre, good wi-fi. The breakfast (an extra) was good and delivered at the appartment.
Review 18：1. Internet was terrible. Had to go out to the patio for connection. 2. No dryer. Community washline on an island where it rains everyday doesn't cut it

Review 26：Very good price for a one bedroom apartment with a bacony and sea/mountain view. Good kitchen. Right downtown and 15 minute walk to ferry and 5 minute walk to small grocery stores. Free washing machine including detergent (no dryer, but clothes line available outside).
Review 27：Couldn't get the wifi to work anywhere in the apartment, there's no heating and there's no tumble dryer to compliment the washing machine. Older people should also be aware that there's 20m of steep hill to climb when accessing the property by foot from the town.
Review 28：My particular apartment had four rooms (bathroom, living room, kitchen and bedroom)and a large hallway as well as a washing machine, cooker, microwave, fridge and air-conditioning unit. Some of the apartments have views of Pico and the property is a short walk to the see front and local shops. The staff sorted out everything, such as billing and taxis, quickly and efficiently, the property is less than 10 minutes drive from the airport and complimentary water / fruit can be found in the rooms upon arrival.
Review 29：The noise from the fitness center was unbearable. It went on for 3 hours at a time, at the loudest decibels. I would stay away from here in it is too much.

Review 32：The staff was very nice and helpful, the apartment was spacious, and the location was an easy walk from all attractions. We didn't stay long enough to need the kitchenette or living room, but it seemed like it was well outfitted for a long-term stay. Welcome fruit and bottled water were also appreciated.
