Reviews for Antler Inn

Review 1:Hot tub was reasonably clean, but there was definitely a feeling of disrepair (missing tiles, etc). Didn't prevent me from enjoying my post-ski soak though.

Review 2:Great value, great location.

Review 3:I wasn't sure what to expect given the low price and motel style layout. I was really impressed with how clean our room was. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were there in December with -18 degrees at night. Again, I had low expectations for the wall heater unit to keep our room comfortable. Not only did our room stay cozy, but even with the unit off the room was not drafty at all. I would absolutely stay here again!

Review 4:Was woken up by housecleaning ready to go at 8am. Jackson Hole is for adventure, not sleeping in! My fault for not putting out the Do Not Disturb sign. :-)

Review 5:Location and value is excellent. Friendly staff. Very warm and comfortable with sub-zero temperatures outside.

Review 6:- quite a bit noisy - the beds were not very comfortable - room quite small

Review 7:- very clean - they had a mini fridge in the room, which was much appreciated - location was great, in the town square - value for money was ok, considering JH is an expensive town

Review 8:The could stand to get new beds and pillows. We have stayed here twice now. Once in the summer which was double the price and I'm not sure it is worth it. The rate we got in the winter was outstanding and totally worth it. Everything in Jackson is expensive, though, so just be prepared.

Review 9:The location can't be beat and the staff was very friendly. You can walk to everything! This is my second time staying here.

Review 10:Shower and vanity/sink area were pretty small. Mattress wasn't the most comfortable. Also, the room just seemed dark, even with the various light fixtures turned on.

Review 11:Location location location - the Antler Inn is a short walk to the center of town and is an excellent value for the money. Room was clean and amenities were nice: TV (and available channels), microwave, and refrigerator in-room. The provided soap/shampoo products were very good. Free coffee/tea and snacks in the lobby in the morning (lots of outstanding places to eat in Jackson). Wifi signal in our room was excellent (we were on the second floor, not too far from the lobby).

Review 12:The location is in the center of town. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay again. They also offer free shuttle service to Jackson Hole ski resort

Review 13:The shuttle to and, especially, from Jackson Hole needs some attention. The shuttle was almost never on time for pickup and the bus was overcrowded. The staff should invest in 1) a bus that lets people throw gear beneath the vehicle or 2) a holding area for gear within the bus. Lots of folks riding with gear on the seat next to them, which limits available space.

Review 14:Staff was great. Amenities were what you would expect. Location is outstanding.

Review 15:It's silly, but we were honestly a little disappointed we couldn't have a single alcoholic beverage in the hot tub. It is always a nice way to relax after a long day of activity.

Review 16:The room was very clean and very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again. The price in the off season was also excellent.

Review 17:The Antler is as close as you can get to the center of Jackson, and still less costly than almost all of the acceptable motels in town. I've stayed there 4 times now and plan to go back.

Review 18:The sink had a bit of a sulfur smell coming from it

Review 19:I loved how close it was to the town square. Just a few minutes to walk to the cowboy bar, shops, and lots of good food places. The room itself was real cute too. It looked like a little cabin inside.

Review 20:No maid service. Didn't even come throw trash away or make beds. They bring fresh towels, but never take the stack of old towels. Chair looked as if it had been peed on ... large stain. Had to use towel on it before sitting down. Very small bathroom area. Staff seemed very bored. Would never recommend this hotel.

Review 21:The fan in the room did not stay on very well so it was warmer than I would have liked.

Review 22:I was traveling with an elderly parent and the room was handicap accessible with walk in shower. it was very close to downtown Jackson so easy to get around.

Review 23:The room was too dark to read and it felt like being in a cave.

Review 24:Location was very nice and centrally located in town and we could walk to everything. It was off the main street so there wasn't any traffic noise,

Review 25:Way overpriced for what is essentially nothing more than a roadside motel. But that's Jackson Hole.

Review 26:Smack down in the middle of town, with all shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance

Review 27:The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room had just been updated with new carpet and new bathroom. It was a very comfortable room. Location was great – we walked everywhere we wanted to go from the motel. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 28:Very nice welcome, felt like family. Fantastic location, very comfortable beds. Nice, thoughtful layout for clothes hanging.etc. Good amenities in the room - shampoo, conditioner, mending kit - very much appreciated!

Review 29:No bad experiences, just thought it was very dated, bathroom sink was really low, odd set-up with two entrances to the room. Windows could not be opened ...

Review 30:Room was clean, location

Review 31:It was second floor with no elevator . The room was facing the street although it was very quite once we closed the door. They also have plenty of room in the back. The room had strong smell of some cleaning stuff.

Review 32:Location in town, it was one block to city center. Parking was easy in front of the room. The beds were very good and the room was big with fridge etc.

Review 33:Very thin walls, you can hear everything. The bed was a little bumpy. The sink is outside of the bathroom.. Less convinient.no breakfast, but there is free hot coffe and coco in the morning.

Review 34:Near downtown jackson, very little to see,but still nice to stroll along the main street.

Review 35:Room was pricey, especially without a breakfast.

Review 36:In town location was great. Off street parking more than adequate. Although old, the room was roomy, decently appointed and clean. Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

Review 37:Small room. Wifi is so so. I cannot connect most frequently.

Review 38:Good location, just at the center of Jackson. Life is convenient there. There are groceries, shops, coffee, restaurants in vicinity of it.

Review 39:Neither desk clerks were friendly when we arrived. For the 150.00+ price they didn't offer any breakfast.

Review 40:very close to main part of town, able to walk. reasonable price compared to other hotels in town. town is very touristy, so you have to pay more for rooms.

Review 41:Dark room even with the lights on

Review 42:Very good facilities, tea and coffee all day in the reception(and in rooms), laundry machines for guest use. Excellent location

Review 43:No bad experiences

Review 44:The room was clean with comfortable beds. I liked the layout of the room, it is convenient to have the bathroom sink outside of the shower and toilet, particularly when traveling with older children. The hotel was located in a good locations, we could park in front of our room and easily walk around the town.

Review 45:Nothing about the property...but don't expect a big town...this is a pit stop...but it does have a great bar in one of the backstreets and people are very friendly.

Review 46:Great size room in the lodge section. Washing facilities, close to Yellowstone fora quick drive in the morning. Great location....I would stay here over the accom in park due to convenience and price.

Review 47:The hot water in the shower was very inconsistent. Two mornings we had only lukewarm water and one afternoon we had hot water. The outside area--sidewalk and parking lot, was not clean. Cigarette butts abounded and we were in a non-smoking section.

Review 48:The room had a nice layout which provided ample space for luggage. We appreciated having free wifi, an iron and a refrigerator. The room itself was very clean.

Review 49:No elevator but typical of most in downtown. Could have requested ground floor. Not a big issue for us but might be for older travelers.

Review 50:They upgraded our room from 2 Q beds to a 2 BR with 1 King and 1 Queen bed suite at no charge with lots of extra room.

Review 51:none

Review 52:excellent location to discover the Grand Teton NP and the southern Yellowstone NP. positioned in the centre of Jackson with all shops you need. Nice local house style. The hotel was absolutely ok! recommendation for Yellostone Park visitors: be aware of 2 hrs drive prior entering the NP! to discover the North and NorthEast of the Park you should deploy to e.g. Cody or to the North or Eastern Entry.

Review 53:The room was like a cave - dark, low ceiling, bad lighting, light bulbs that were bent in the lamps, no light inside the door, bathroom very cramped, felt dusty and musty. Worst place we have stayed and the price was far greater than some of the very nice places we stayed on our trip. A big disappointment.

Review 54:Nothing

Review 55:We stayed two nights. The maid kept knocking on our door wanting to clean it and were still getting ready to leave. It was about 8:45 AM. When I told her we were not ready, she never came back and made up the room. Not a big deal, but didn't like the continued knocking on the door.

Review 56:I forgot my electric toothbrush and they were super helpful and mailed it immediately.

Review 57:Never did find the hot tub Took us a while to find the ice machine Didn't know there was a breakfast ????

Review 58:l The location was excellent and close to so many things Our housekeeper was excellent and make sure we had everything that we needed The main office help was excellent as well they noticed we had an elderly couple with this and made sure we had a ground-floor room excellent customer service

Review 59:For the amount of money we had to pay, the facility was sub par. There was a very musty smell to the room, the bed was uncomfortable and I felt like I needed to clean the area. The floors - carpeting and tile was old and might be where the musty smell was coming from. The staff was okay but when checking in the woman hardly said anything to us. We wouldn't stay there again. We would love to go back to the area put will try another hotel when we do.

Review 60:The location was great. Very convenient to the town, restaurants, etc.

Review 61:No discounts honored for rooms! Lumpy damn bed! Room was upstairs, with no other options. Ice machine was on the ground floor:( Most gross of all.................... dried snot on the back of the bathroom door:(

Review 62:Learned not to book thru "Booking.com" because my discounts are no good.

Review 63:Did not have a freezer in the refrigerator. No Pool. but did have a 20 person hot tub.

Review 64:Just a few blocks from downtown Jackson. Had coffee and cookies in office. Friendly staff and very helpful.Parking was right outside of hotel room.

Review 65:So much for free internet, try no internet. Some of our friends had connection occasionally but none of us had continuous wifi. As we have been touring we found this accomodation sadly lacking compared to some of the places we stayed that were much cheaper.

Review 66:We liked it's closeness to town being able to drive.

Review 67:Entry doormat worn, dirty and torn to the dark, dingy rooms, Antler Inn is a poor value in an expensive town that needs competition to provide more choices for tourists.

Review 68:Location is the only good aspect for Antler Inn, a worn, tired, out-of-date facility.

Review 69:Noise from street, cars and motorcycles parking directly in front of room; neighbors' loud conversations outside room.

Review 70:spacious room; good room facilities; central location

Review 71:A little pricey, but I guess that's par for the course in Jackson Hole.

Review 72:The room was spacious and comfortable, location was great! Per friendly! Website doesn't do this hotel justice. I wish we would have stayed longer there!

Review 73:AC/heating unit did not work properly and despite an outside temperature in the thirties the room was too hot/stuffy to sleep well.

Review 74:The room and bathroom were clean. Plenty of towels were provided.

Review 75:It is overpriced in my opinion. For the rates they charge the amenities in the rooms should be first rate, and they are not. They are dated.

Review 76:The location of the property is great - close to everything in downtown Jackson.

Review 77:When we arrived the staff was not very friendly. Didn't want to give a restaurant recommendation. The next morning a staff member loudly told an employee on the phone, "If you don't want to come in to work you won't have a job and you can go back to Mexico." She continued the conversation in front of customers in the lobby.

Review 78:Location and facilities.

Review 79:The hotel is in need of maintenance. For this price, toilet seats should be in good repair, and bedding updated. Needed more pillows. Water in shower changed temperature without warning so relaxing end of day warm shower turned into ice cube temperature off and on without warning. They need to figure out a way to include a breakfast.

Review 80:The location was excellent, and the facility was clean. I also liked that they offered complimentary hot cocoa as I do not drink coffee or tea, so was nice to have an enjoyable option.

Review 81:price was high but not high for the area. Shower heads were made for extremely short people. good water pressure though.

Review 82:great location! great price compared to others in the area.

Review 83:On a trip to Yellowstone, we wanted to see Jackson and have a place close to the downtown area. It was good enough to stop by and stay another night on our way back south.

Review 84:Wifi very difficult. My wife fell on the stairs which was easy to do as they are not flat. Bad bruises. Very lucky she was not badly hurt. No breakfast was a huge disappointment for the very high price we were charged. We would not stay here a second time.

Review 85:Location.

Review 86:- The rooms could use better appliances and bedding. - Please ensure that all lights are in working order.

Review 87:- Employees were very accommodating. - Every major locations were nearby.

Review 88:The excellent location had some drawbacks. Our room was adjacent to the street and the walls were a bit thin. We could hear all the traffic and could hear all the tourists walking past ur room. As a positive, Jackson was quiet from midnight to around 7 a.m.

Review 89:The location of Antler Inn to downtown Jackson was excellent. Park at the motel and walk just about everywhere.

Review 90:Excellent, excellent location! City center & walked to everything we wanted to do for shopping, entertainment, dining! Price was great for location.

Review 91:Great location downtown Jackson....walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Nice, clean room, good AC and firm bed...pricey, but inline with rates in this tourist town. Good stay.

Review 92:Slow draining plumbing, not super clean, smoke-smelling rooms, too-soft beds.

Review 93:The location is phenomenal and is probably the best value for money in Jackson Hole.

Review 94:close to the downtown and Grand Teton, fast check-in and check-out, easy to park the car, warm greetings and the staff offered the park guidelines without being asked. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants etc.

Review 95:Room was dark & gloomy even with lights on. General impression of being dated and "tired". Jackson is an expensive place, so costly for what you get.

Review 96:The room seemed clean. Central location

Review 97:Not their fault--big pickup trucks parked in front of rooms blocked the steps up and down. We're not talking little pick ups--they should have parked in the lot if they have to drive such a big vehicle!

Review 98:Shopping for a hotel in Jackson Hole WY and everything else looked pricey--$400+ per night. Antler was under $200 per night. Worried it would be subpar but read the customer reviews and they were happy. I was happy too!

Review 99:We liked everything, but be sure you request a ground-floor room if stairs are a problem for you.

Review 100:Location -- so convenient to the square! Space -- plenty of room Amenities -- larger room fridge had a freezer for the ice packs, free wifi worked great, built-in bench for suitcases was conveniently out of the way. Comfortable beds, great water pressure, luxurious linens and towels

Review 101:The room was spacious with a separate area for the kids and a wood burning fireplace for us. We enjoyed the free wifi after a week in YSNP and GTNP with no signal in either.

Review 102:It was a little difficult to find the office, as the rooms are spread out in different directions and are in separate buildings. The staff was polite but not very talkative: it was the basics and that was it in terms of their interactions with me.

Review 103:Great location (within walking distance of downtown Jackson and restaurants and shopping); spacious and clean room; comfortable beds; ample parking.

Review 104:Air conditioner didn't work well. Don't expect to use free wifi- have latest iPads and couldn't connect to wifi for a long time- if at all. Not an updated motel.

Review 105:Clean.

Review 106:No microwave oven, no kettle

Review 107:Antler Inn is very close to the center of Jackson Hole, it is clean and comfortable. Convenient base to explore Teton NP, but if you want to explore Yellowstone NP than it would be too far (about 147km 97 miles one way to Old Faithful), unless you want to do only just one day trip. There is a lot of restaurants, shops and galleries around.

Review 108:The rooms are very dark and smell like smoke when you open the door. The toilet was the size of a child's (or elf's) toilet! The beds were lumpy.

Review 109:location

Review 110:The location is only steps from the center of Jackson and it's restaurants and shopping. The rooms are large with the amenities of a three star property.

Review 111:Dark room. Everything is old and uncomfortable. Carpets are stained and it seems they never have been changed. WiFi is slow. Bathroom is really small. Unfriendly people at the reception

Review 112:Phone linked to wifi easily, but my tablet could not link to it.

Review 113:Reasonable pricing, comfy bed, unique decor & short walk to the square in JH. No breakfast offered that we know of, but coffees, etc. & cookies available.

Review 114:Our room was smallish but very clean, very quaint. It looked like a room in a log cabin. Very nicely decorated. Very convenient to shops and restaurants - well within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay.

Review 115:Upstairs units are warm. AC unit (and those for other rooms) is a bit noisy.

Review 116:Location is excellent. Easy to walk to stores and restaurants of central Jackson. Easy to drive to as well. Room was clean and comfortable if a bit dated. Convenient late check out time.

Review 117:Couldn't connect to internet , electrics poor , took ages to work out lights , bedside alarm not set to time just flashed all night

Review 118:Location to town centre

Review 119:Motel was fine. Jackson Was very expensive for the normal traveller. Typucal tourist resort where prices are hiked up. Especially the petrol. Fill up before arriving and top up down the road.

Review 120:The location was excellent. A few minutes to the town square and all shops, restaurants. A short drive to Grand Teton National Park.

Review 121:Beds to small for tall people. No available outlets to use.

Review 122:Reasonably priced a block away from town square so toy cam walk to everything. Beds small. They say queen, but they're fulls. Bit uncomfortable, just cozy.

Review 123:We found the motel very comfortable and the staff very helpful. also it was very close to the middle of town. We would stay there the next time we come to Jackson.

Review 124:Room decor was very quaint and fitting to the town. Room was clean and well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Very close to the town center - we walked to all that we wanted to see.

Review 125:Definitely a "budget" motel. I had to keep reminding myself that it was a great deal for the location.

Review 126:Great location! Only a block off the square.

Review 127:Our smoke-free room smelled awful, like cigarette smoke. I am allergic to smoke, so it made for a long night. No breakfast included.

Review 128:Location was good.

Review 129:The day before we left we were inundated by a busload of teenagers infor soccer games, arriving about 9 pm. They proceeded to roam the halls, yelling, pounding on doors to locate friends, socializing loudly in thehallways until well after 10 pm.

Review 130:Extremely neat and clean, great value, trendy western décor, quiet, friendly helpful staff.

Review 131:TV was way to high on self for my taste

Review 132:Facility had a "Western" feel to it. Clean and staff friendly. WiFi was acting up a little. Able to walk to lots of places

Review 133:Staff on check in very business-like. Morning staff helpful with tips. If breakfast is not included, why sell high prices 'continental' Danish / muffins?

Review 134:Location is excellent
