Review 1：I expected a little more authentic Indian food. But the distance to Cbd was so close we just bought food every night. Lucky we were on breakfast only.

Review 2：This is the best located hotel in grand baie. The staff are amazing . They have entertainment after supper. Go and meet the Dj Ravi. A 3 min walk to main Cbd through the beach. What and amazing experience. We travelled with our two boys (8 and 2,5 years old.

Review 10：The rooms look dated. We were upgraded to an apartment suite which was great, but couldn't help to notice the dated furnishings. We also had unintended guests in our suite (lizards), which flipped out my wife. But the staff took care of the lizards.

Review 13：We were not warned that there had been muggings when walking between the hotel and the town. We were later told of 5 occurrences. The hotel has a duty to tell their guests this and recomend taxis especially at night

Review 17：A blemish on this fantastic resort is certainly some of the staff whom were not willing to assist timeously. Person responsible for luggage collection at check out point only brought it after 7 requests and did not even apologize for same. Staff at the morning breakfast buffet were also very unhelpful and unfriendly. I observed that they deliberately ignored us and made a beeline for white tourists! Quite shocking and discriminatory and not in keeping with any policy that your resort purports to ascribe to. Some of staff do a good job, especially reception and the "little man" whom were exceptionally well mannered. Overall good stay!

Review 18：The location and resort itself is superb. Hotel layout is amazing and has comfortable seating areas in several key areas. The gardens are immaculately maintained and has a wide array of bird life. Peaceful and tranquil spa is also on premises.

Review 22：We chose to have our Honeymoon in Mauritius & booked the Honeymoon suite. We received a gift from the gift shop & a gift in our room too. The hotel is huge, very clean and beautiful. The infity pools are amazing, you walk straight out on to the beach which is beautiful too. The location is the best - you are 5 minute walk from shops & restaurants all along the beach. There are free activities such as glass bottom boat - pedalo - snorkeling - tennis etc. the hotel food is lovely - loads of variety! The staff are very helpful and friendly, the service was amazing. Free wifi - good signal. Entertainment every night was good too. O.K the room cleaner was really helpful especially when we had some little unwanted visitors in our room! We had the best Honeymoon :)

Review 23：You don't have wifi in your room, you have to go out for it. You don't have an iron in your room. The bar and entertaiment was closed very early, but I think is because of the less people were there.

Review 24：We stayed 2 days on this hotel. It's a big hotel with a large swiming pool, clean. Nice breakfast and dinner with diversity selection of food (salads, meat, fruits etc.). We enjoyed a massage for an hour (5000 RUP for 2), many thanks to Samina..? Taisha..? I'm really sorry for the name, but I forgot how to spell. I Know that Samina is there for 5 years, and Taisha for 8 years. There is a tip for you: if you are a man and you want a massage, take the intens -stronger one, not medium. For me was very good medium , but my boyfriend he should book for stronger, anyway he was satisfied. The waiters very polite all of them, ,any thanks for the manager or supervisor, he helped us to arrange a dinner for a good price, and we really enjoyed , we were full all the time, Thank you for the lady from reception,, I don't know here name, but she was polite and helpful, and receive us very friendly.

Review 29：The rooms are tired and need revamped. The beds are going in at the middle, the minibars leak, and the showers are old and dirty. The rooms smell musty, and no amount of enthusiasm from the cleaning staff will fix these things. The resort needs to spend some money on the rooms. The food selection is lacking for dinner. We ate out for 12 of our 14 nights.

Review 30：The setting is perfect. The pool deck and main entertainment area is really lovely, and all the staff are trying really hard to make it special. They all work really hard. The view is beautiful and the fact that the resort next door is available too, makes it really a great location for everyone.

Review 44：Friendly and helpful staff. We were welcomed with warm wet towels and juice on check in. We received honeymoon gifts from the hotel in the form of cocktails and fruit basket and boutique vouchers. Room was spacious with sea view. Free nautical activities provided. Lovely infinity pools.

Review 45：The hotel looks old and need a complete renovation. We had a massive RAT in our room. We had to leave the hotel. Extremely bad experience. The also charged my credit card for full stay after the RAT experience. Such a poor hotel for Euro 200 a night B/B.

Review 57：Wi-Fi is only available in the public areas. There were a few mosquitos the first night when I arrived. There was noise from the bar nightly even at 10pm and it could be heard inside my room. The staff who cooked the omelette at the restaurant was often not ready at the start time of breakfast and there was some wait. Not much smile on the faces of waiters. Some waiters were chatting among themselves whilst customers were right next to them. There were a couple of occasions at breakfast where the waiters did not proactively offer me tea/coffee until I asked for it, other times were fine. The foods at breakfast appeared the same every day, although there were a good range of foods.

The laundry came back very well-packed. It's good for both families and solo travellers.

Review 111：family rooms were akin to jails, closed from all sides, I had to change to a normal room to have some open ness. Food at the Quay- lots of stuff, but less taste. need to focus on quality and some local and Asian food (Chinese, Indian) would be helpful. Did not see a great amount of help from the incharge to get some benefit in lieu of moving from a superior (family room) to a normal room (due to family room constraint stated above), instead, was asked to sign that I will have no demand of refund. That was terrible, did I have a choice, but to sign?

Review 120：The rooms are quite tired and need a general refresh to bring them back upto scratch. The sun bed cushions are very old. It can be noisy at night depending on which room you're in due to the live music each night. This added to the luke warm showers meant that all in all the hotel let itself down. (Apparently the water is heated by solar so let the staff know if it's cold and they can turn on a boiler). The hotel also had very slow wifi although it was free in the lobby.
