Review 1：We thought like other best westerns we would have had free hot breakfast but not so. We stayed because we have stayed at others and received a free hot breakfast. This may affect our choice on our next stay.

Review 2：Bed was very nice along with the bathroom . Maids where verynice

Review 3：Only one complaint, outside doors were propped open with rocks, chairs etc. by guests. This is a security issue, and needs to be looked into.

Review 4：Very clean and comfortable room. Microwave and fridge were a great addition. Nice big pool and hot tub, and the grounds were lovely. Places to eat nearby, plus restaurant within were great. Shuttle to casino was a great plus, didn't have to worry about driving.

Review 5：Fitness centre was under renovation. Temporary location was ok, but treadmill was broken. Only one elliptical/climbing machine available.

Review 7：Air conditioner in the room did not work. Also, unplugged the clock because we couldn't figure out how to change the time. The clock radio went off at 5:00 in the morning. Could not remove batteries as it required a screwdriver. After checking out we realized we had left our restaurant leftovers in the fridge, went back to get them (not even 5 minutes) and cleaner had already thrown them out.

Review 9：Room smelt of cigarettes not sure if people allowed to smoke in room. Door to outside didn't close properly so had to jam it closed. Fire alarm went off at 2:00a.m no one ever came out to let us know what was happening or if we were safe to go back to bed!

Review 11：it was the March break and I expected some kids, I was not expecting the hotel to be over run by them tho. Kids ran wild through the hallways until well after midnight. NO REST due to noisy guests. Not Impressed!

Review 15：The hotel has some non smoking rooms and, unfortunately, my room was next to one of them. I am sensitive to the smell of tobacco and I did not enjoy entering and exiting my room and smelling cigarettes and I think some of it seeped into my room as I awoke plugged up in the nose. I am sympathetic to smokers and would suggest there should be some sort of buffer (such as doors). Or if they assign a non smoking room beside a smoking room they should warn the guest in advance.

Review 16：The room was large and the bed was extremely comfortable. The WiFi worked very well. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub and I had a very good dinner in the restaurant.

Review 21：we went out for breakfast on Sat morning and came back the girl had made the beds and she took the towels out and said she would be back to clean the bathroom and do the rest. I asked her to leave us some coffee. When we returned at 10.30 PM nothing had been done and no coffee... Also the curtain rod was broken and the curtains wouldn't come together had to get up on a chair and try to get them together we ended up putting our small cooler against them to keep them closed. Also feel for the price we paid 170,00 per night that there should have been a complimentary breakfast included,

Review 22：Our room was double booked even after I called to ensure we had late arrival. Could not find another hotel so drove home... arrived home at 5:00 am. We are very very upset. It was a joke. After check in we went to our room to find someone was already in the room. Can you imagine???

Review 23：Absolutely nothing. We didn't get to stay as our room double booked and the hotel was full. No effort was made to find us somewhere else to stay.

Review 24：There continuous air ventilation system for washrooms, public hallways needs maintenance. In room a/c with wall controlled thermostat is not quiet.

Review 26：The lobby and door to the parking lot was really far. No ice or vending machines near the room. We stayed 2 nights. We had 4 staying in the room and needed 4 face cloths. I made the request to housekeeping. Instead of providing the extra face cloths, the took the two we had and did not leave us with any. We had to use hand towels to bathe. Less than satisfactory considering the price of the room.

Review 27：The room was quiet and comfortable. The beds were really comfortable. Although breakfast was not included with the room, it was reasonably priced in the restaurant. The coffee was great, too.

Review 72：One thing I would love to see at all hotels is carpets being taken out of rms. I travel with my small pet and I dislike the smell of dog urine when staying in pet friendly rms. I think hotels would be much more cleaner if tiles floors were in the rooms and easier to clean with any accidents.so hopefully in the future all hotels start making that change, Its just hard to justify paying well over a hundred bucks for room to smell pee

Review 76：The best thing about our stay was the friendliness of the staff, they made our stay very comfortable. It was also economical for us as we planned on going to Canada's Wonderland so the luxurious feeling of the hotel made us feel that we were staying in a higher class hotel and was very affordable! And the adults were able to drive to Casino Rama and enjoy ourselves for a couple of hours. Our children very much enjoyed the use of the pool, besides Canada's Wonderland they would have preferred to swim than be there!

Review 77：1) Our room wasnt cleaned one day and we had to make our beds and request towels etc.. The night manager was not that interested in my complaints. 2) Starbucks- They avertise that they serve starbucks coffee. However, when you go into restaurant and ask for a latte. The latte is automatically made from a machine and the latte in terrible. I have complained to Starbacks about this becasue as frequent traveller, I always seek out a starbucks because the experience is always the same- mornings are about routines.

Review 81：Unfortunately my husband and I did not have the best experience at thishotel. One of the reasons we stayed there was the pool, we wereextremely disappointed that it was an exceptionally shallow pool. Wefound the room extremely dingy and dull. Now the worst things wasfinding hair in the bathroom when my husband went in just after wearrived. On Sunday morning while in the middle of taking a shower thehot water ran out, leaving me standing there with shampoo in my hair. Myhusband called to the front desk and told them, they asked him if I ranthe water first. They called back and told us they checked the room nextdoor and it was fine. Well I was not in the room next door, In fact Iwas standing there with shampoo in my hair and a towel wrapped around mefreezing. What we found was the worst was in the two differentconversations my husband had there was never once an apology. Verydisheartening since this is an establishment that is suppose to be inthe hospitality business.

Review 88：When another guest had a shower very early in the morning there was a very loud vibrating noise that woke us up and continued until they stopped, plus I could hear people walking aound and noises from the next room also there was loud hammering in the room next to us in the evening,. Not the nicest place we have stayed and probably would not stay there again unless we were really stuck for a spot. The cost of the room far exceded the experience we had especially after we had just finished staying in a very excellent Inn in Ottawa and paid less per night and our stay included there included a hot breakfast. All in all it was adequate but not worth the $.

Review 90：The walls were not at all soundproof. In fact, I could hear conversations in the next room. While I loved the pool, I would have preferred it to be a bit deeper. There was no indication of pool/gazebo service. It would have been lovely to have been offered to have a meal or beverage served outside. The towels were not soft. Most likely because I noticed that the water in Orillia tends to be mineral based.

Review 91：That it was clean and close to the Mariposa Folk Festival. The the housekeeping staff were very accommodating and made sure that we had everything that we needed.

Review 92：We were upset about information re: bussing to the casino. We arrived at3:00. asked about the bus to the casino. Were told that the bus did notleave until 5:15. so, we waited around for the bus. When we went down toget the bus, we were asked if we had prebooked it. When we said no, wediscovered that not only would we not be able to take the bus at thattime but, the bus was booked until 9:00 that night. Our options then wasthat we either had to drive ourselves to the casino or take a $25.00taxi cab (one way). If we would have been told how the bus worked whenwe arrived, 1) we would have booked it at 3:00 or 2) we would havedriven ourselves at 3:00 and not waited around for 2 hours. For the onesin our group that like to gamble, they were not impressed.
