Review 1：The place is well situated in a quiet area, and we enjoyed the view from our room...The owners are very friendly indeed while the place is well kept and very clean...I recommend this place to any person that wishes to take a quiet break from the every day hurdle...
Review 2：Nobody was there when we arrive so we had to call someone from the reception phone, make 3 calls to get the info that the key was on the door. It's not a big deal but not so welcoming. The bed was really bad. The breakfast was very simple and both day the same. We had 3 powerbrakes during a stay of 2 nights.

Review 5：Breakfast times were not adapted to divers schedule, so we always had to eat in a hurry to be at the dive centre on-time. Breakfast quite simple and not very varied. No hairdryer in the rooms despite mention in room facilities. Shower lacks a shower curtain.

Review 7：Just a few small things could've made it a bit better. The rooms could use updating a little. There wasn't a braket on the wall for the shower head or a shower curtain so the floor got soaked when you had a shower. The balcony was quite dirty and so not really enjoyable to sit on. Our air conditioning broke on the first night and leaked water over the floor, but we told Maria in the morning and she had it fixed straight away. The bed wasn't that compfy either but it was bearable. Breakfast was very nice but it got a bit 'samey' and more variety would have been better.
Review 8：It's a very sweet, family run hotel in a great location.The pool was great and never that busy. Staff were only really around at breakfast time and were very polite and helpful.
Review 9：Absolutely terrible pillows that were changed, the new ones were worse.also the bedclothes were old and mismatched. The rooms were cleaned only each other day, don't know why? These things were truly bad! Not expensive but not good value!

Review 14：San Antonio is like a home from home. Family run and very friendly with facilities available all day long for tea/coffee, even a microwave to warm up food. Nice and quiet area for chilling out but only a 5 min walk to the cafes/restaurants/bars/shops in Xlendi. Will definitely stay again
Review 15：One fridge for 15 or so guests to share is a little ungenerous. We'd gladly have swapped our hideous old CRT TV for a little fridge in our room. Also, the upper floor terrace, which provides beautiful sunset vistas was wasted by having no decent furniture on. No staff ever come at night - if they did, they'd know how many bulbs were blown in the public areas, which are very dark. The stairs are tricky in this murky light. Rooms a little dated. Ask for a pool view room.
Review 16：George, Maria & mother offer superbly caring & warm hospitality and nothing is too much trouble. The guesthouse had a nice "homely" feel which we loved. The pool was splendid and much needed in the heat. The views of Xlendi bay from the pool terrace and an upper floor terrace were very pretty. The provision of breakfast was most welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We travelled to every corner of Gozo and thought Xlendi was the nicest resort.
Review 17：These are only minor issues. A shower curtain would be good, now the bathroom floor is really wet after a shower. The wifi was very slow.
Review 18：If you need nightclubs and discos, forget Xlendi. But if you appreciate a charming small village, great scenery, good possibilities for trail running, walking, etc. and splendid restaurants, go to Xlendi. And there, San Antonio guesthouse is a real juwel. Small, but cosy, great sea-view. Wonderful host family, who make you feel at home. Comfortable rooms.
Review 19：The Studio (two double beds) has a lot of noise coming from a generator of sorts hanging above the room on an outside wall.

Review 22：The owners and some family members are running this guest house. Everyone is so nice and always helpful! The breakfast was very good. The pool is well maintained and has a beatiful sea view. Plenty of good restaurants are in reasonable distance. The bus stop is ony 3 min away.

Review 32：No shower only shower head in what otherwise was a lovely bathroom. Breakfast a bit repetitive. A bit of a problem with an old TV but that was replaced with a new one. Some of the loungers need replacing and maybe the garden could have been tidier but minor issues.

Review 36：Gozo is a nice and quite island, Xlendi is a nice place to stay. This is a small hotel, but I think it was the best choice. George, Maria and Anna were really friendly and helpful. The pool and the view is perfect ..... highly recommended!!!!!
Review 37：No bad experiences but just to warn you the guest house is up quite a steep hill from Xlendi Bay - no problem if you're reasonably fit and good parking if you use a car.
Review 38：The personal attention of the owners was excellent from the moment we booked. We received an email from George one of the owners telling us all we needed to know about getting to and staying at the San Antonio. The three owners and their staff were all very pleasant and very helpful. Great swimming pool and a view over Xlendi bay from the terrace as well. Only 10 minutes walk from a good range of restaurants. We'll stay here again when we next visit Gozo but for longer!
Review 39：Shame no free wifi. No local maps/tour information. Communal pool. Douche bath, no shower or curtain screen resulting in a very wet slippery bathroom floor. Charged for quadruple room but given a double room with 2 beds and an uncomfortable fold up bed. Note unnecessary defensive responses to previous reviews -there are benefits to this guesthouse depending what you are looking for.
