Reviews for AMAKS Zolotoe Koltso

Review 1:thin walls, unfortunately there were some people in the room adjacent to ours enjoying some drinks and talking very loudly. This reflected negatively on this evaluation. If you're lucky enough to not have neighbours like that, this is an excellent hotel

Review 2:we had got standard room with grease stains on the bed instead of ordered business level room, and we were waiting for an hour when our business room will cleaned and prepared. breakfast wasn't too varied, stains on the table-cloth, some guests were in bathrobes on the breakfast

Review 3:Additional payment to get bathrobe. Only one sneakers for 2 persons. Long waiting of the room service to eat (however we was informed in advance). I think it are abnormally for this cost.

Review 4:The hotel was full during public holidays however personnel managed this quite good.

Review 5:Old furnishings, no workout center (treadmill, etc)

Review 6:Great breakfast, very comfortable bed

Review 7:Just average hotel, but the price was too much. Not worth.

Review 8:nice breakfast, helpfull staff

Review 9:staff is not very helpful at the reception

Review 10:for a busyness trip this hotel is all right. The room was very clean and quiet.

Review 11:not friendly staff disgusting meals

Review 12:Location, bathroom small

Review 13:staff, breakfast.

Review 14:Shower no perfect (waste pipe blocked), low sound insulation between rooms

Review 15:Clean business room, confortable

Review 16:Payed parking Cold stairways

Review 17:Food and breakfast

Review 18:I liked everything about the hotel and it's always a pleasure to stay there whenever I am in Vladimir.

Review 19:a bit far from the centre

Review 20:nice and friendly staff, clean and quiet, very good breakfast and we could start at 6.30.

Review 21:Parking is not free of charge ! Not that expansive, but considering the price of the room, I did expect it would be included.

Review 22:Nice room, clean, king size bed with good mattress. Excellent breakfast with all what you need.

Review 23:- Bad located (20 min by car from railway, 15 min by car from city center) - Staff is terrible! -->We waited for 40 min in the restaurant to order, 40 min more to get the bill and as an exuse heared only "you are not alone here!" -->Security behave rather agressive - Old beds - Tiny rooms - No hairdrayer in the rooms - Flayers are needed to get breakfast: it is just inconvenient + nobody mentioned this (staff is a real disaster!)

Review 24:- Good wifi - Diversity of the dishes for breakfast

Review 25:The room was small and dark; problems with using our credit cards; noinformation about tours and excursions; poor restaurant service

Review 26:Good buffet breakfast; good housekeeping

Review 27:Были и в "бизнес" и в "стандарте", разница только в размере номера и более свежем ремонте. Остались очень довольны проживанием. За бизнес переплачивать не стОит.

Review 28:It is situated far from city center, so rent a car or use publictransport. There is no place to dine out near by and the food in thehotel's restaurants is awful! Don't take seriously informationabout 5 restaurants as far as there is only one menu for all of them.

Review 29:Hotel provides small but good rooms with all needed facilities.

Review 30:The prices in 2013 became too high comparing with the level ofthe hotel.

Review 31:Nice location not too far from city center. Good breakfast. Goodstudio rooms.

Review 32:Our booking was confirmed via booking com but no reservation wasin thehotel. Same happened to the family who booked per phone. Couldn`t callto hotel for an hour - didn't pick up. Very slow-movingadministrators. Thin walls. Strip club in the hotel with"ladies" hanging around the bar and restaurant. Quiteexpensive if compared to Europe for same service level, but typical forRussia.

Review 33:Pretty good cuisine. Clean nice rooms. хорошая кухня. чистые комнаты.

Review 34:The breakfast was unusual for European taste. There’re no croissants or pastries at all. The only appealing thing for us were freshly made pane-cakes but the queue modalities were unclear even for me, Russian native speaker born in URSS, so we haven’t got any. The location of breakfast room was a bit odd, it’s actually situated on the floor with bowling and bars working during the night, no natural light and full of people, hotel is quite big, and only two lifts to get there.

Review 35:We, my wife and me, travelled to Vladimir at the beginning of the New Year. This is notoriously hot season in Russia and so that the only hotel left in Vladimir was this one. The location is not optimal, too far from the city center. Also, there’re apparently easy ways to get there (down-town), e.g. public transport, we didn’t try it and used our rented car. Otherwise our room was clean and tidy and the view out the window rather spectacular, in Soviet old-fashioned style. The mini-bar was full of drinks and snacks and the price-list was fair enough.

Review 36:To begin with the reception staff didn't know anything about mybooking. I had to switch on my ipad to proove it. Second, the cost forthe reserved rooms named by the receptionist was 30% higher than I hadin my reservation voucher. Again I had to proove it. And the last. Thereare at least 3 restaurants at the hotel. But some people (E.G. securitystaff) strictly didn't recommend us to have dinner at the hotel. Wetook a taxi and went to the other district of Vladimir to have dinner. Thus, I have a question: Is it always like this? Is it dangerous orharmful to have dinner at this hotel? Then what about breakfast whichwas included? Who is responsible for the hotel cuisine?

Review 37:- The hotel is located relatively far from the city center- Room was somewhat expensive for the quality - Breakfast was so-so. Not enough seating space, cheese doesn't look fresh etc - Elevators are constantly broken and you have to use stairs all the time - Local sauna looks more like a brothel

Review 38:- The room was clean and recently renovated- Staff was helpful
