Review 1：Modern, clean, good breakfast - a nice surprise. Very good location - from the train station just walk up the street along the walls. Coming by bus: walk 50 mts towards Obidos "gate" (Porta da Vila) and you'll see the hotel outside the walls - almost across from you.

Review 2：Breakfast was not as good as the hotel! Orange squash instead of juice! Little fresh fruit choice.

Review 4：We liked our room in the NEW section of the hotel. Also, the hotel restaurant where we ate lunch the first day had delicious food and fine service. The bar was also good for a nightcap.

Review 5：Location was great. Right outside walls and parking in front. Breakfast was above par and included eggs. The croissants were excellent! Room was beautiful and modern. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was nice except your knees jammed into the shower when on toilet. I had to pee sitting sideways! Water pressure not great but passable.

Review 7：This hotel was ideally located just outside the main gate through the wall. You could walk anywhere quite quickly. Reception staff were very helpful and spoke excellent english. Many restaurants close by. Parking was easily available nearby. Excellent breakfast.

Review 8：Nothing to do with the hotel BUT be careful: our car, which we parked 50m down the road was broken into, so remember not to leave any valuables - standard thing.

Review 9：Very comfortable room, bed and bathroom. Full and rich breakfast. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Location could not be better: right at the entrance gate to the medieval town. Good, solid wifi connection.

Review 11：The hotel is just outside the wall of Obidos within walking distance, but away from the hordes of tourists in the old town. The have had a renovation in the rooms which are large and modern. The hotel restaurant is fantastic and reasonable.

Review 12：We had 2 rooms and both the bathrooms needed major cleaning, grout on tiles filthy, the drainage in both shower stalls was very slow which meant we were standing in soapy water; the room carpeting needs deep cleaning; the surly receptionist at check in; that breakfast is not served before 8 a.m. even though it was advertised as breakfast included.

Review 37：I stayed one night only and Wifi was down the following morning. In fact there was no internet, and though this can happen anywhere, it really drove home how dependent we are on technology. That's about the only con and I am being picky...

Review 38：The room was very comfortable! Location is excellent, right next to the wall, and very close to bus stop, which was a concern for me, but it worked out great. Wifi in room and a very good breakfast at a very reasonable price. I would go back.

Review 39：The bed was a standard double which was ok but the mattress was so hard neither of us could sleep and the routine noises e.g. fridge airconditining from next door far to noisy the toilet although plenty of room in the bathroom was right against the wall. So most uncomfortable to use your knees hit the shower door also when we checked out although our card had been charged for the room the receptionist insisted it hadn't and we pay again she eventually found the card receipt ,my husband felt so I'll from lack of sleep we just went home instead of continuing our journey

Review 50：This hotel was a nice surprise right next to the main gate (Porta da Vila) of Óbidos. The room was modern, nice decoration and very spacious! There was free parking right in front of the hotel, but they don't make any reservation. We got lucky to get the last spot (we arrived after 8pm). The breakfast was very enjoyable and the staff is excellent! Very polite and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again!

Being winter, poor lighting in the room meant that we could not read books. No tea of coffee facilities in room. Refused to provide a thermo flask of coffee as we left early on last day and did not have full breakfast.

Even in a hotel where a room costs 52 euros/night. Not a bit deal actually but the room had a door leading on a terrace and no window, terrace is closed from access by anyone but dwellers of these rooms, but to sleep with an open door might be a tiny wee cold, with an open window it could be easier.

The reception desk told us of a medieval festival that was going on that night with a parade and gave us a map of the castle area. The festival was a delight. The breakfast was good and served buffet style (with eggs, yogurt, fruit, etc.). The hotel had AC which we used at times. Great stay.
