Review 1：A little far from the port if you are planning to take the ferry to Pico or São Jorge.

Review 2：Great location to the city center and Porto Pim beach. Nice fitness area with sauna and jacuzzi.

Review 3：Circuit blew out once cutting off electricity to all of room, except for door lock and safe, and we were on way out for dinner and was fixed by time we got back to room so not a big deal.

Review 17：MOLD and MILDEW I requested tiles around shower to be cleaned with clorox bleach in order to remove pink mildew; and the shower curtain to be washed with clorox bleach or replaced given pinkish and black mildew spots. This was corrected efficiently by staff after the problem was explained and visually shown; however, this should never had happened given the rating of the hotel and the amount charged in the summer high season. Staff was advised of need to disinfect at times with bleach/clorox product to remove mildew and mold given growth of bacteria as harmful to the health of guests. EXTRA BED ??? I agreed to a charge of 39 euros for an additional bed in room for an adult but it turned out to be an extremely small cot with a thin mattress. Not at all the extra bed that I anticipated and certainly should have been free as it basically qualified for a cot used in camping. A/C It was extremely hot in the room (end of July raining and very humid) as the air conditioner did not cool well at all. Overheard several other guests complaining about their a/c over breakfast; therefore, the a/c problem was not unique to just my room. Suggest to remove the carpet in rooms and replace with an engineered wood or similar product (perhaps even a tile) given the high level of humidity which makes the carpet feel unclean as it has spots in areas including the perimeter outside the door to the bathroom.

Review 20：The helpful, friendly staff. The spa facilities and massage service were excellent. Great location for exploring both bays in Horta and for local restaurants. Wonderful view of Mt Pico when the cloud allowed! The romantic package with extra little touches was much appreciated. And thank you for the bottle of wine on my birthday!

Review 39：Best location in Horta, with beautiful view of Pico island. The staff is very friendly, they even booked a car for us - fantastic service. The PCs in the business centre were working OK, you can even print your boarding passes for your flight if needed. We loved to have the possibility to go and relax in the jacuzzi after a long day walking around (bathrobe and slippers are available in your room which is a plus). Buffet breakfast was OK, with a good choice of items. Parking is free.
