Review 1：Only issue was old, noisy aircon unit - no major deal but could be updated.

Review 2：Friendly staff, private accommodations, swimming pool and proximity to wineries.

Review 3：The decor is a little bit tired, but everything worked perfectly. It adds to the original bush charm.

Review 4：Perfect Lovedale location, beautiful views off the balcony of the hills in the distance. Fully kitted out kitchen for dinner and fantastic, warm croissants for breakfast in the morning.

Review 5：Definitely needed some maintenance. You could hardly see out the windows they were so dirty. The garden beds are very messy. The bbq barely worked, they were very old and in poor condition.

Review 7：Some minor maintenance that needs doing, eg the toilet rocked. We advised owners, so hopefully will get fixed.

Review 8：The staff were very friendly and obliging. Very relaxing sipping wine on the balcony overlooking the bush. Enjoyed the pool and spa.

Review 9：The owners are pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The property is beautiful and enjoyed our two nights, topped off by seeing the Eagles play at Hope Estate.

Review 10：The accommodation and fixtures are dated. The price should be adjusted accordingly instead of being similar to more modern options. It states a café and breakfast available on the website but we went hungry when told they don't do it anymore. The bedroom walls are only half walls, and so don't go there if you want privacy. We had to ask for milk for the meagre coffee/tea sachets, which wasn't replenished during our stay, nor were the towels. This is obviously self catering at its most literal.

Review 11：The location of the accommodation is close enough to the Cellar Doors and activities. Could suit a small group or young family.

Review 12：Kitchen crockery/cutlery was dirty. Long black hair all over the bathroom floor. Good size bedrooms, but walls don't reach the ceiling. Like sleeping in a toilet cubicle. Overpriced.

Review 14：Low partition wall between the two bedrooms gives no privacy from light or noise. Not suitable for couples sharing or light sleepers. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired.

Review 15：Great setting & an easy drive. Lovely views from our own personal verandah. Wonderful hosts from the time of booking - they were extremely helpful with all our requests. We could not fault anything.

Review 16：No view from the first property we were put in (some propertiesdon't have views), dirty, bathroom bin not emptied, coffee out ofdate, hard bed and pillows, no pillowcases for second pillows, keptawake till 3am by partying in other property, water ran brown. We havetravelled quite a bit and this is the worst we have stayed in. We hadbooked 2 nights but left after the first. We have learnt from thisexperience not to book when interior photos are not shown

Review 18：While I understand a rural retreat can get dusty, the general level of cleanliness was a bit off the mark. The towels, bedding and sheets were all very clean though.

Review 34：Villa was described as two bedrooms, but in reality rooms were only partitioned part-way to the ceiling. Light and sound travelled almost totally between rooms. It was a premium cost but the accommodation was fairly standard and in need of renovation.

Review 40：The bed was not made and towels were not replaced, this was explained inthe room information book. As we did not take time to read this, we werea bit disappointed at first. We got fresh towels in the morning from thereception (opens at 8 am). Would have appreciated a sign in thebathroom, in that case we could have easily reused our towels.

Review 41：Host Helen makes this place what it is, she makes you feel welcome fromthe moment you arrive, cooks an excellent breakfast and can assist withheaps of information. The room is spacious and the beds are good, butthe place looks like it can use an update. The views from the verandaare beautiful and the place it really relaxing. Good location to explorethe Hunter Valley as well.
