Review 1：We loved this cute and cozy cottage. The host family was so helpful and they thought of everything. There was tea and coffee in the kitchen, DVDs to watch, and a lovely hot shower. The cottage is beautifully decorated, and kept very clean. We walked to town and to a fun nature walk from the cottage. Our favourite place we stayed along the Great Ocean Road.
Review 2：The bed for the fourth adult in the room next to the kitchen was very uncomfortable and not a real bed at all. The shower in main bathroom was very dark and gloomy. The entire place was tired and dreary, but very clean.

Review 7：The owner was not at home when we arrived and we had to ring to find out how to get in. There was no information about Port Fairy in the accommodation unlike the rest of our month long tour - wherever we stayed had info about the area in the room. There was no milk in the accommodation - again a first on our tour. We were very unsure about the layout of the bathroom - side walls do not reach up to the ceiling of the accommodation.
Review 8：The location was good. It was very clean. We slept well. The owner was very pleasant when we met her. It was fine for a one night stay.
Review 9：Old carpets and dirty drapes played havoc with the asthma. The bed in the room off the kitchen was only suitable for young children as the mattress was poor. No wifi or foxtel.
Review 10：Good family accommodation. The kitchen.dining and living areas all spacious. Two bathrooms and toilets were fine though the hot water in the showers was hard to regulate. Good value for a not too fussy group or family. Safe for young children with a back yard.

Review 12：I was welcomed by the lovely hosts and they went out of their way to suggest eateries and things to do. The cottage was homely and well appointed and extras were provided like insect repellent (not that it was needed at that time of year) and a huge variety of teas.
Review 13：Very disappointed in that what was advertised as facilities and what we paid for were extremely disappointing and very misleading!!! It was advertised to have washing machine, dishwasher, carpeted and none of these were correct!!! The photo shown was so out dated and the garden was so over grown and very little privacy from the main residence. The so-called ensuite was stuck in one corner of the cottage. It did not have floor to ceiling walls, so that when you were having a cup of tea or watching the TV you could very clearly hear everything going on in the ensuite....not pleasant!!!
Review 14：Despite the cooler temperatures of winter, we were warm and cosy. All we needed was there for us. Ideal for a couple, and so close to town. restaurants and the port and walks.

Review 19：Couta Hill is in an excellent location, within very easy walking distance from the small harbour and a very manageable walk to the town centre and shops. The cottage was very cosy and had everything that we needed for a very pleasant stay. Our hosts were very friendly and obliging. Highly recommended.

Review 22：The facility is on a residential street where houses let out rooms or, in our case, a back yard cabin. You have to look carefully and use the address to find the location. Off the highway, go past the tourist centre to the end of the street and you will be on the correct road. Do not trust Bookings directions. The directions are unnecessarily complex.

Review 25：This gorgeous little cottage was just perfect. It was extremely cosy with everything you'd need for a longer stay. Little things, like a small library of books to choose from, or dvds. A bar b q and an outdoor setting with table and umbrella in the garden. It was so comfy after we'd been away from home for a month travelling. Port Fairy is a beautiful little village and we'll worth a stopover.
Review 26：Simple comfort. We were in the lovely little place separate to the house. For two there was no shortage of space, but still I say a lovely little, cosy place, and about the size of a garage. We were just across the road from the river (Moyne).
Review 27：Furniture was old and the rooms smelt mustt. The beds were uncomfortable. For the price they were charging there should have been at the very least milk, tea, coffee and soap.

Review 33：We particularly enjoyed Anne's warm welcome and the peaceful ambience of the Kottage. The Kottage is thoughtfully equipped, and the bed is very comfortable! The wharf area, Griffiths Island, shops, galleries, and eating places are all within easy proximity.
