Reviews for Quinta da Boa Ventura
Review 1:Nothing except large number of pets.
Review 2:Husband &wife operators gave welcome Port to us & were most hospitable: ' Think of this as your home' Breakfasts were the best with home grown &baked selection. Room was private with table &chairs onlooking a beautiful garden. Proximity to the old city was very convenient.
Review 3:Nothing at all
Review 4:Wonderful to be greeted so warmly after a 350 mile motorcycle ride. The first thing we got was a cool glass of home made wine thrust into our hands. Fabulous location just a short walk to a good restaurant or 2 miles to town (The B and B owner offered to take us) The room was brilliant, fantastic bathroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, as good as it gets to be honest

Review 13:This is a fantastic find. Oozing with character, the rooms have antique furniture and their own private entrance. The garden has its own allotment, you name it, it is grown there and on the breakfast table in the morning. Delightful .
Review 14:Idyllic, tranquil, peaceful b & B. You could hear the birdsong inthis quiet corner of northern Portugal. Vera and Antonio were perfecthosts. Very welcoming. We will recommend this lovely place to all ourfriends. The weather was so hot it was possible to stay by the pool allday if we desired. Interesting town which we didn't really exploreenough, so we will definitely return.
Review 15:You'll need a car to get around, but then it's most likely you'll be arriving by car anyway.

Review 37:A truly beautiful setting with very friendly owners. The breakfast wasexcellent and judging from the breakfast the cooking was superior tomost places where we stayed in Portugal. It is a pity that they did notoffer the option of an evening meal.
Review 38:The room we had was somewhat dark.
Review 39:The owners are very welcoming; the large garden and the pool area are very pleasant; it is a dog-friendly place and our dog actually made friends with the owners' dogs. Breakfast was very nice, with home-made breads, jams and cakes. Private parking is free; so is wifi internet connection which is available in all areas. It is very near (by car) to the city of Bragança.

Review 41:Superb, peaceful location. Beautiful property with lovely swimming pool to relax in and soak up the sun. Very good breakfasts. Extremely welcoming owners who even took us into Braganca in their car when we went out for dinner.
Review 42:All was OK. If we need to think about something less OK, then: sometimes you could hear the neighbours in the room next door.
Review 43:Friendly and very helpfull hosts. They could also speak some French and English as we did not speak Portugese unfortunately. Lady explained all about the breakfast that was delicious with a lot of different things and choice. Swimming pool outside was a cold at end of august in this area. Also tennis court but you need to bring your own equipment.
Review 44:Accommodation was difficult to find using our navigation system as Quinta da Boa Ventura was 2kms from Branganca
Review 45:good breakfast, friendly helpful owners, pool, tennis court, plenty of outside places and garden to relax in, clean very comfortable would have been nice to stay longer. good value.

Review 47:Staying in the Quinta is a magical experience. Superb accommodation, with good air conditioning. The Quinta has beautiful grounds and a great pool. The owners are very hospitable and the breakfast is special, with a lovely variety of products, many homemade. Good signage makes it easy to find now. Great base for touring and visiting Braganca.
Review 48:Very friendly and helpful family, Vera, Antonio and daughter make you feel at home even if we were just for one night. Kids enjoyed the pool and tennis court.
Review 49:the bed was cranky (old furniture), making noises with every move.
Review 50:The place was very nice and the breakfast felt very homemade. The couple that runs the place was very friendly and helpful. Walk-in shower was excellent!
Review 51:Quiet natural place, like a little island close to a busy town. Verywarm, friendly welcome with a glass of portwine or tea. I can imagine tospend some private holidays there.
Review 52:Due to language difficulties (our fault for not speaking Portuguese Isuppose) there was a misunderstanding on costs and the owner wanted tocharge of 40 euros for a shared meal. The coffee was weak Americancoffee, not your typical local strong coffee which we prefer.
Review 53:It was a beautiful place with friendly pups and not far from the citythough a bit hard to find.
Review 54:The lighting was bad. The double bed was very narrow (140cm?)
Review 55:Extremely nice owners.
Review 56:very welcoming and helpful ,lovely setting and lovely people
