Reviews for B&B Onder de Peperbus
Review 1:I was staying in room 2 which had very steep stairs. This wasn't a problem for me, but it could be for others.
Review 2:I liked the location as it was really in the center of Zwolle. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even provided earplugs in case you were bothered by the noise from outside. (it didn't bother me). The breakfast served in the room was good and very fresh.
Review 3:Next door is a student hotel where they drink and sing all night, piss in the street and vomit on the footpath. It's not the fault of the B&B but still a shocker to stay at. The loft bed was like a third class sleeper from Indian railways
Review 4:The stairs in the six-person property are incredibly steep and the top room is accessed by ladder so moving luggage was hard. The layout is rather odd with the dining area (where breakfast is served) taking up half of one of the bedrooms, and the only sitting area is tiny. Also there's a small balcony where you can smoke, but you literally have to climb out of a window to get onto it. There were six people in my party and only one bathroom so that might put some people off.
Review 5:Excellent central location. I stayed here with a group of friends for a wedding and the B&B was only a couple of minutes' walk from everywhere we needed to go. The breakfast was brought to the room and was pretty good. I stayed in both the six-person apartment and the four-person bunk room and slept well in both, but they are definitely only suitable for able-bodied people because of the stairs and ladders.
Review 6:The first day, the host wasn't there, so she sent a friend to give us the keys. It would've been fine, but this friend didn't speak English, only German. Also, the bathroom door broke.
Review 7:The host was very nice, and, for the price, it was a very good deal.
Review 8:The room was rather cold.
Review 9:Limited bike storage. Lack of access to kitchen. Breakfast served in bedroom.
Review 10:Central location in historic building
Review 11:Great to have such a big room on a convenient location.
Review 12:The bed was not the most comfortable i have had.
Review 13:Location
Review 14:Incredible loud shouting and music all night. Did not sleep at all. The bathroom was not very clean and the sink was clugged.
Review 15:The host was Nice.
Review 16:The basement room is practically inaccessible. The "steep stairway" referred to on the website is extremely narrow and winding...almost impossible with luggage. The bath room is miniscule, a step DOWN from the bedroom and rigged with a loud pump that turns on every time water is run. The price was too high for the minimal accommodations.
Review 17:Not much.
Review 18:Just a few hours before the booking was created without any problems! This B&B is located in the city centre so many places to visit just around the corner. A good feature is the free Wi-Fi. In one word "good" for both a short or long stay.
Review 19:No parking on site, as promised,at 5 euro's, but 16.50 at parkingelsewhere. The room was basic,in a basement,with sub-basement shower/toilet/washbasin-impossible to enter and/or use.
Review 20:The friendliness of the lady who took care of us and the excellentbreakfast with newspaper
Review 21:noise from nearby nightclub
