Reviews for Parkway Inn

Review 1:No bad experience just a FYI: some slick spots where the ice was melting and refreezing by the steps and corners. The "adjoining" suites were a little noisy.

Review 2:The location was great..The rooms were clean and comfortable. We liked the pool and sauna area. We liked the off street parking. Good breakfast.

Review 3:Breakfast could have been a little better but still good. Can leave out coffee or hot chocolate afterhours.

Review 4:Great Rooms, comfortable, even came with a humidifier for the dry evenings. Great décor and location. Staff is helpful and always there. Spa and pool area are good.

Review 5:If you can't get by without fully functioning wi-fi, then you should stay elsewhere or head to the Starbucks down the street. Wi-fi works early in the morning, when there is very little internet traffic.

Review 6:Large rooms, acceptable breakfast, clean, very nice staff!

Review 7:The only small thing was the poor quality of the wireless.

Review 8:Placed in downtown, super super friendly staff, lovely rooms, great spa and breakfast. The price was very attractive too.

Review 9:The shower/tub was good sized but it didn't leave much space for the toilet next to it.

Review 10:Loved the decor and furniture. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Front desk and breakfast area was very nice and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Review 11:Not one thing.

Review 12:Pictures just don't do justice. It's beautifully comfortable and cleanliness of A+. I cannot say how sad I was to leave here! Rustic Grandmas House inn with a heated lap pool, sauna, and hot tubs for this value? Insane. Not to mention your location is right in the center of Jackson. A walk to million dollar cowboy for some late night drinks or any of the local shops! May I also suggest a place called D.O.G. For a great philly! Also, the inn staff were polite and very helpful. They hand out some awesome maps of Jackson. Oh and deep jacuzzi bathtubs matched by a continental breakfast and coffee. Ok I think you get the point. I love it.

Review 13:I cannot express just how much we liked our stay at this Hotel. The room was absolutely wonderful, large, quiet and comfortable. The king bed was so comfortable, and the gas fireplace, antiques, and porch over looking the town and ski area made it much more appealing. The staff were so friendly, nice, and professional, that they made us feel like we were part of a family. The location to town was even better. We were able to leave our car at the hotel and walk around downtown and places to eat.

Review 14:The afternoon desk lady was grumpy and impersonal.

Review 15:Great room. Loved the afternoon tea and snack. Also enjoyed very much the evening fire and tea. Used the exercise room and spa. It was a memorable stay. The morning desk lady was a delight.

Review 16:The room heat is off when you first check in and housekeeping turns it off when cleaning, so the room is often cold when entering. There is plenty of heat so the room warms up quickly, but on a cold day you might need to keep your jacket on for a short while.

Review 17:Charming and spacious room; good cold breakfast with eggs, yogurt, cereals, pastries, breads, and fruit; great parking access; excellent location in central Jackson; afternoon snacks.

Review 18:Only wish I could have stayed longer....

Review 19:Staff was lovely! Made my special occasion stay perfect!! Even gave us an upgrade to celebrate! Breakfast was filling....robes were luxurious...price was outstanding....

Review 20:Breakfast was the same everyday Variety never changes and coffee was horrible. HAD to go to McDonalds to get good Coffee

Review 21:Comfortable beds fluffy linens and patio.

Review 22:No adverse comments.

Review 23:Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel position gives easy access to the town. Ample parking on site. The swimming pool and gym were good.

Review 24:Well appointed room, very clean and comfortable. Loved having a separate bedroom with second TV . Nice mix of antique and new furnishings. Breakfast was very good. Starbucks coffee in room was much appreciated.

Review 25:This is an old two story building and although nicely updated, the floors above our ground floor room ,really creaked. Recommend getting an upstairs room.

Review 26:Very nice staff. Met with afternoon brownies and tea.

Review 27:Great price for a king Suite. The hotel had a cottage feel to it and was done very nicely. Great location, just walking distance to downtown shops. Staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Nice continental breakfast every morning although it can get a little cramp in the dining area when busy. Overall a very nice stay.

Review 28:My husband liked everything about our stay. Our room was fantastic (Room 31). It had all the amenities you could ask for. I loved it being in walking distance of all the shops and restaurants! I would only stay with you when we return to Jackson! Great job!

Review 29:Absolutely none.

Review 30:My wife was really amazed by the overall quality of this cozy and comfortable inn in Jackson Hole. We will definitely return with our next family vacation in Jackson.

Review 31:This is a lovely updated hotel with the charm of the "old west". It's walking distance to the town center and restaurants and shops. My family and I had a great stay!

Review 32:Nothing

Review 33:Beautiful antiques in our room. Bathroom was super. Pool area was great. Breakfast was delicious, lots to choose from. Quiet rooms and close to town.

Review 34:Bad WiFi very flaky, very small bathroom

Review 35:Pleasant and helpful staff. Building very quaint and pretty. Very clean and we stayed for 3 nights. Room kept clean and replenished during stay. Reception team excellent

Review 36:Construction in lot across the street. Entering from back near park more inviting. Our room was decorated in mostly dark brown. Needed some brighter colors.

Review 37:Basic motel with homey touches, antique furniture, flower gardens continental breakfast buffet, afternoon brownies and lemonade, comfortable room. Within walking distance of our favorite restaurant Bin 22.

Review 38:The continental breakfast was average with cereal and toast.

Review 39:The location was great! We were so surprised by the beautiful quaint little cottage toward the back. I would definitely return and recommend the Parkway Inn.

Review 40:Asked for a quiet room but the ice machine was right outside my door. Needs more handicap parking, we only saw one stall.

Review 41:Very nice room, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff! Easy access to parking, I'm disabled and the handicap stall was right by my door. Great amenities, spa, pool and hot tubs!

Review 42:We arrived in Sept on a very hot day and the airconditioner didn't work properly.Besides it made such a noise that we couldn't sleep.

Review 43:the location was convenient.

Review 44:Very quaint, every room is different. Ours was a log cabin theme. Details in room was great. Can tell owners take great pride in their property. Within easy walking distance to downtown and restaurants.

Review 45:No elevator. Whirlpool tub in master bath was cracked. Felt like you were going to fall thru the bottom when you took a shower.

Review 46:Very convenient to shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking.

Review 47:I was pleasantly surprised. I needed a one night stay near the airport. Got a last minute deal on booking.com. It's really a cute little place. Antiqueish but really kept up very well and I thought my room was awesome. Bed was super comfy. All of the people at the front desk were so nice and helpful. It was right near everything I wanted to walk to so once I parked my car I was set. It's set up like a motor lodge where I was able to park right in front of my room. But then it also had an inside door to the main motel area. Nice communal room off reception. Had a pool and spa that I didn't get to use. Also had a workout room. Convenient to everything. I really would recommend.

Review 48:We reserved a king bedroom and were pleasantly surprised to get a 2-bedroom suite with balcony including outdoor sitting area. The staff was friendly room was very comfortable and the location was perfect. We arrived late after a bison slowdown out of Yellowstone but were able to walk to the Cowboy Saloon and get some late dinner in the bar. I only wish we had more time to spend there. We had to leave early the next morning. The continental breakfast was good but would have been better if there was something warm to eat like scrambled eggs or bacon but then again that wouldn't be "continental".

Review 49:Their absolute unwillingness to refund any portion of our $300. advancepayment. Bad pr. We stayed at the lexington instead. It was wonderful inevery way. Clean & up to date. Better location, as well! Goodbreakfast included.

Review 50:Nothing. Didn't stay because of a mixup in the date. Hallways &reception looked okay...'charming' as the realtors would say.

Review 51:Desk staff. One great, one terrible. Room ($250) looked like it was decorated from a garage sale, decorated by a five year old and was not very comfortable

Review 52:Location

Review 53:Like everything in Jackson, expensive for the average traveler.

Review 54:The location was excellent - and breakfast was a nice variation and well set-up. Room was lovely.

Review 55:Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Room was well appointed and bed was comfortable. Check in and out process was easy and staff were friendly.

Review 56:Liked it all.

Review 57:The Inn is right in the heart of Jackson so you walk most places. They have parking. The rooms are great, jet tub and rain shower. Great homey decor and breakfast is better than most.

Review 58:The Parkway was fabulous. Beautiful rooms that were unbelievably classy. Everything about the property was superb. Can't say enough positive things.

Review 59:Had to carry luggage up stairs to get to room. Too little parking. Could not leave room to eat dinner for fear of not having a parking space and it had the littlest bathroom on earth.

Review 60:Nadia at the front desk was very helpful. Nice fitness facility. Although it was an older facility with older furnishings, it was spacious and we had a good stay.

Review 61:No bad experience. Very good stay

Review 62:Good location to shops and restaurants. Close but not too close. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Pool and spa was adequate for our needs. Good breakfast. Nice selections.

Review 63:TV didn't work but we didn't ask for help. Ground level room was very convenient but you could hear folks upstairs. Not a big deal for us.

Review 64:The room was very nice with a king bed, updated decor. Facility includes an indoor pool and hot tub and nice breakfast. And location is walking distance to historic area with restaurants and shops.

Review 65:We hated virtually everything about the room itself. Tired, worn burgundy commercial carpet, hand-me-down furniture, cheap blinds that don't work, paper thin walls (we actually thought a sneeze from the neighbor was someone in our room). Outrageous room rate which was more than we paid recently for the Ritz Carlton in Atlanta. An awful overall experience.

Review 66:Decent location close to shopping and restaurants

Review 67:Lady that check me in was really kind of grumpy. Could have used a slightly lower rate. I feel they are slightly over valued.

Review 68:Very nice suite of rooms.

Review 69:No elevator. Narrow old stairs to 2nd floor. No decent restaurant within walking distance. Tacky decor. Not the cleanest room.

Review 70:Staff nice and accommodating. Free breakfast. Free parking. Free WIFI.

Review 71:It's pretty old facility. I appreciate the fact that it's Jackson Hole, but I think you pay a lot of money for a very average experience.

Review 72:Great location, comfortable bed.

Review 73:The location was central to Jackson Hole, which was convenient. The staff was helpful and polite. The breakfasts were plentiful and timed well. The lap pool facilities were nice.

Review 74:none...

Review 75:Everything. Beautiful room, clean, serviced perfectly....lobby/staff wonderful....breakfast excellent....location couldn't be more perfect.

Review 76:The price, albeit this seems to be a bit of a norm around Jackson.

Review 77:Really comfortable room and a nice mini-spa to soothe your legs after a long hike. Good breakfast (included) and some really tasty organic lemonade and chocolate cake during the afternoon.

Review 78:The location was awesome, and within walking distance to the entire town. The grounds were lush and colorful. The rooms were well kept and clean. Although decor was dated, it added to the charm of the inn.

Review 79:The WIFI signal was weak upstairs in our room.

Review 80:The location was great, the staff was very nice. The town of Jackson was great to walk around in and is close to many attractions. We loved our stay at the parkway

Review 81:Room was very comfortable and clean and felt new. Loved the little outside tables in front of our room. Allowed us to enjoy being outdoors after traveling all day. We left to early to be able to take advantage of breakfast, but this property seemed to have all kinds of little extras to be enjoyed.

Review 82:Front desk extremely busy and maybe they could have a second person to answer the phone.

Review 83:Perfect location, comfortable room and beds, beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay here again!

Review 84:A little cramped in the toilet and shower area of the bathroom. Would have been nice to have an elevator lugging heavy bags to the second floor. We managed, though, and not a major complaint by any means.

Review 85:Greeted nicely, feels like at B&B and homey, liked the lemonade and brownies in the afternoon, accommodated us with a take to go breakfast since we departed too early to eat the hotel's breakfast buffet.

Review 86:The window unit was a bit noisy (we visited in the summer), and breakfast was just OK, but it was great that they served Starbucks coffee.

Review 87:Fantastic location, friendly staff who were very helpful in pointing out good places to visit or to eat. The rooms were comfortable. Would definitely try to stay here again.

Review 88:The breakfast. For the price paid, and billed as a B&B, I would have expected a hot breakfast and not just bread and cereal.

Review 89:We had our grandchildren with us and we did enjoy the nice pool house although the pool was small.

Review 90:The furniture, carpet and fixtures were old. Some things were antique and that was fine. The carpet needs to be replaced. The pull out couch was unbearable as a bed. Had to go buy a blow up mattress for the kids. Cost me extra money!

Review 91:Location was great. Amenities such as robes, frig, Q-tips and cotton balls, charger for phone were nice. The outside is well maintained. Flowers were beautiful.

Review 92:No microwave, small bathroom, no room to even turn around! WiFi sketchyBreakfast was dull & crowded Narrow, steep stairs, no elevator 2-lane lap pool is the only pool, This is an old motel remodeled into anicer place but for the money I expect more.

Review 93:Great Shower &Towels, room was clean, but stale smell in rest ofhotel - especially the work-out room! (Moldy basement) Outdoor Sittingspace outside of room was nice Best thing about it was location, androom was fairly nice...

Review 94:Our beautiful suite faced the street and a city park so it was a little noisy. If you want a really quiet accommodation request a suite/room away from street.

Review 95:Walking distance to anything you need. Squeaky clean with blooming flowers abound.

Review 96:The dining room very poor area and the dining room staff very surly

Review 97:The room was ideal very comfortable get one with balcony looking towards the mountains

Review 98:The breakfast offered little protein, only hard boiled eggs. Our bathroom area had a strange odor, and the tub/shower area is very small with a sliding door.

Review 99:Beds are comfortable. Bath towels are big and fluffy. Wifi was fast and worked great! Lots of TV channels. Great location in town. Room has two doors, one opens to indoor hallway, the other to outside parking and little patio (first floor.) Gives it a homey feeling.

Review 100:The Charm of the place, loved the decor, staff especially Bebe she was awesome! We also met the Building manager and his crew, they took our suitcases up to our room, they offered to do it! That was above and beyond! Location was great and love the patio and the sliding door outside of our bedroom with the patio set! Loved the dining area too!

Review 101:Coffee in the free breakfast was terrible inspite of it being Starbucks.

Review 102:Very clean, but old facilities. Switch for a lamp was missing, so had to struggle to get it on /off for reading. Breakfast is decent but nothing great. Did not like the coffee.

Review 103:The staff was friendly and helpful. The property was very clean. The table and chairs in the front were very nice as I needed a space to dry some camping equipment. The fresh lemonade and brownies were tasty. The furniture and decorations were pleasant.

Review 104:We changed our plans to go to Yellowstone in the middle of our road trip so this was a last minute booking. We were pleased with our room. Clean rooms and friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.

Review 105:Wifi was super slow. Not enough staff or ability to contact staff to check in, waited for 5 minutes at front desk then called and let the phone ring for 3 minutes, no answer. We just wanted to check in. Small bath tub and semi warm water.

Review 106:The orange soap

Review 107:Modern updated rooms and baths with beautifully refinished vintage oak furnishings. 46" flat screen TVs with a generous selection of cable choices but no movie channel. Thru-the-wall airconditioning. Parking, WiFi, and continental breakfast included. Clean, comfortable, fresh, cozy. Nicely situated close to the town square. No pets.

Review 108:AC was not cooling room enough. Pleasant lady came to room promptly, but said that was the coolest room would go. Not as cool as we normally like it, but adequate.

Review 109:Clean, convenient

Review 110:No help for carrying luggage to 2nd floor and no personal guidance (short of staff) to your room. At 2000 meters height, I carried a heavy suitcase to 2nd floor and found it was the wrong building and had to go down and climbed up again! I had a heavy flue and I almost fainted! At the price of $300 per night, they should do better. The breakfast was not even meeting basic standards.

Review 111:Room size is good and clean, and the receptionist was nice.

Review 112:The interiors were done well, but not to my taste. I would think the hotel would appeal to an older demographic.

Review 113:The location within the town of Jackson was great--central, yet still quiet.

Review 114:sport room not usable by young children (under 15) no bacon for breakfast. wifi far from room so not always accessible

Review 115:quiet place, well placed parking, large rooms

Review 116:This hotel was excellent. It was very obvious to us that the owners take great care with this property. The décor was a nice blend of modern furnishing and lovely antiques. It was very close to downtown Jackson, so we could walk to dinner and shopping.

Review 117:nothing

Review 118:Staff were attentive and friendly. Location was great and the rooms were clean with great amenities. We had an issue with our TV and the lady at reception came to our room immediately and sorted the issue for us

Review 119:Attractive and roomy interior with good beds, and newly redone bathroom. Quiet enough in the back. Friendly, helpful proprietors. Enough electrical outlets in the room for each of three beds.

Review 120:Nothing Negative

Review 121:Awesome location one block from Town Square Great rooms with refrig , coffee maker Beautiful inn Breakfast continental plus eggs juice Great helpful staff

Review 122:Everything was nice. Husband would have liked a meat option in the continental breakfast. Otherwise excellent.

Review 123:Location, beds, staff accommodating a room request.

Review 124:Not a single complaint. LOVED it!

Review 125:I booked a cheap rate and was surprised with what will likely go down as one of the nicest rooms I will ever stay in. Actually, it was almost 3 whole rooms, including a huge outdoor deck, 1.5 bathrooms, and amazing leather oversized furniture. I loved this place, and the location was perfect for exploring the city.

Review 126:Would have liked it if the front desk would have directed us to this little gem of a restarant, rather than sending us to one farther away and not nearly as nice.

Review 127:We found a wonderful little mexican restarant, El Abuelito, and had a great dinner.

Review 128:Breakfast area too small and very limited choice

Review 129:Location was great for town. Staff on reception very welcoming and helpful. Rooms and bathroom clean very nice hotel. Chocolate cakes in reception very nice and were available during afternon and evening
