Review 1：Great little hotel in a beautiful old villa. Excellent breakfast. The owners were really friendly and ready to help. Short walk to Corvinus castle. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is literally 5min walking from the castle! It was the best hotel we've stayed in on our trip! Loved it

Review 8：The chairs in the room looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while. The hot water wasn't always hot (there were times when I had to wait for it get back to temperature). Had to checkout earlier than I planned and there was no breakfast choice besides the swedish buffet.

Review 10：In the room was a strange smell, we even found lots of air fresheners. I think it`s because of the old building. Also better to check nearby restaurants. Because in the main hotel restaurant food is rustic. They can forgot about your order and then bring you some untasty mess.

Review 11：Best choice for travellers. Villa is really close to the castle. We stayed there for only one night, interior was quite simple, with a lot of 'vintage stuff'. Big room, hot water and even a bathrobe.

Review 19：Staff is friendly. Vila is rustique, with nice decorations and Cerna flowing closely. Rooms are wide. The Corvinian Castle is about 15 minutes walk away and worth a few hours visit. Breakfast was tasteful and variate.

Review 20：A beautifully restored old house transformed tastefully into a boutique hotel. The surrounding area (bar the Corvin Castle) does no justice to this amazing hotel. Very friendly owners, with lots of interesting stories. Rooms are generous and very well appointed, decorated in line with the style of the building. A true 4 star experience. Will definitely use again if in the area.

Review 25：We found our stay to be really good with a friendly welcome from the family who run the hotel. They were helpful about things to see and good at giving information. We had a wonderful room with views across the river to the church in the square. The size of the room was palatial to say the least. It has been wonderfully restored from what was a derelict building and the furniture and furnishings done in a sympathetic way to the original use as a Jewish merchants house before the 2nd world war. The restaurant was very good with a good menu and service. Breakfast served in the restaurant was good with a wide choice from the buffet. Well worth a visit and a chance to visit the castle and also view the gypsy palaces! Pet friendly

Review 31：It's the closest accomodation to the castle, and you can go for a nice walk there in the evening to see the nicely illuminated castle or you can see it directly from your room's window! The rooms are nicely decorated with a castle-like design! you even have a small library from which you can choose something to read! The host and the waiters are very nice and the swedish buffet has various healthy food. The rooms that do not have a castle view are bigger 30 m intead of 12 m for the rooms with castle view). I would definitely go back there!

Review 34：The reason for staying at the Corviniana is to visit Corvin Castle, John Hunyadi's conversion of a 14th century castle into a renaissance palace. The hotel is only 300 metres away, it is comfortable, inexpensive and the owners and staff are very friendly. It also has a good restaurant.

Review 54：We occupied two rooms. In the larger room the air conditioner did not operate very well. Unfortunately there was a large party booked in the restaurant area directly underneath our rooms making the quality of sleep a bit problematic.

Though the website says that it is possible to pay with a card, they told that it's impossible coz the machine is broken; it was absolutely clear that they not gonna move even a finger to fix this problem. So, that woman at the reception began to explain where the bank is. To put it short, her explanations were horrible, apparently, she didn't really care how long it will take me to find that bank. Breakfast: they don't care about covering food, so you will find flies sitting on cheese, ham, eggs...

Be careful: you have so much to offer: don't destroy everything in 5 minutes. We were lucky to find your other way to be as well as your wife. Review 107：The comfort and the way everything is arranged. As the owners(or whatever they are) told us: made with a lot of soul and heart. Restaurant offered us exactly what we wanted and expected! Fantastic!!! Two owners (?) became friendly and played with us in her sport room! Eating breakfast outside was a fantastic way to compare a feeling we had many years ago in Tuscany.

Review 112：Very pleasant employees (I suppose owners) gave us all that we asked for and were really disposable to our youngest travelers (2 and 5 y.o. boys) . Spacious and for our needs adapted room (added extra beds) was clean with a special consideration for the bathroom - really clean. The location of the hotel is just 2 streets away from the castle that allow us to visit that one by walk with the kids. Because we were late on arrival we asked for a dinner that was possible in the restaurant that is part of the hotel and not intended only for hotel customers. So you do not need to look for a restaurant if you stay there. The food is good and the prices are fair.

Some of the rooms are very big, others pure comfortable. I also tried Papanasi..just great.. For me it was a very nice experience and for sure I will choose it again. Very good value of money.

Comfortable bed, clean room, the staff went out of their way to please us, although they were very busy with a private party taking place in the main area of the restaurant. Breakfast was also very nice and varied and it even included some traditional local products. It is very close to the Corvin Castle (walking distance).
