There is to little choice and what you can choose can fairly quickly be sold out and then they offer you a ''no''. 15 Euro per person is not that much but quite expensive for what you get. On this point they can really improve themselves. The hotel is slightly out of the center and at night it is not a nice area to walk in because it is a area of companies.

Review 24：We liked the atmosphere of the hotel very well. Behind a not so expressive exterior we came in the insite of the hotel wich was very nice. Wonderful lighting, a good bar and a nice looking restaurant. The rooms are spacious and pleasantly decorated. We hate showering in bath but luckily find a large walk-in shower. The toilet is in a separate room wich we think is convienient. If we go once again to Zwolle we might just pick this hotel again.

Review 25：The sport-bar close early so we missed some important games. The hotellittle bit far away from the city center. The gym is not that good -small place and limited equipments. The room service ppl kept ignoringthe red sign "don't disturb" always and enter the room toclean it. I observed that they don't change the coverlet daily likethe other hotels! The breakfast doesn't worth the 15 euros at all !Very limited food and the same menu every single day :s

Review 26：The staff is very frindley and helpfully. You can watch any soccer gamedownstairs in the sport-bar. Everything in this hotel was very clean.Very quiet place there's no noise at all. The furniture was modernand stylish. The wifi is free and very speedy.

Review 110：Hotel is a 20 minutes walk from the city centre (which we knew). If it had been closer to the city centre this hotel would have gotten a 10 out of 10 from me. The only incident that happened concerned breakfast on the 1st day. It wasn't in the restaurant due to maintenance. Understandably the full setting wasn't available. However, the waitress didn't mention that we could request anything we might miss. Therefore, breakfast was much less than anticipated; few bread rolls, very little cheese/meats, no yoghurt, no boiled eggs, etc. Afterwards I complained at the reception that breakfast hadn't been satisfactory and that I didn't want to pay the Eur 15,- that was set for it and that I expected they would do something about it. Later that day we were told that we didn't have to pay anything for breakfast that morning and that they apologized for the lack of information. The next day breakfast was superb, so our complaint was handled professionally and to our satisfaction. ++ for the staff.

Review 111：Room was perfect, exactly what I asked for in the booking form with regard to floor, view, etc. Restaurant was closed during our first night due to maintenance (understandably during such a 'low' time), but diner was served in the lounge (great area) and although the menu wasn't as extensive as normally, diner was excellent and service great. Another plus: our complaint with regard to breakfast on the 1st morning (see next box) was handled so professionally and to our satisfaction, that the complaint melted away completely. Breakfast on the 2nd day was superb, just as photo's and comments on the booking site had made me anticipate. Overall: 9,5 for this hotel, it's staff, it's food and overall ambiance.

Review 115：The air condition unit cannot be turned off, both of my young kids got sick. Staff had confirmed it is a repeating problem. I checked out a day earlier (2 nights instead of 3) due to the AC issue but they refunded only 10% of my total pre-payment reasoning that the 3rd night was a discounted one. It was not shown on my Booking.com confirmation so I am taking it as a rip-off and will make legal steps (both for the money and the cancelled holiday due to sick children). The room had view for a wall. The toilet had no water tap. The bathroom has no door which is not children (or even privacy) friendly.

Review 119：The location is out of the central city, which is a drawback if you are traveling by rail, but it is a BIG plus if you are traveling by car and need an easy and inexpensive place to park.

Review 120：Hotel Lumen Zwolle is designed so very well: large room, lots of electric outlets, plenty of storage space, good fridge and hot beverage space. Also, the best AC system on our whole trip, which was marked by plenty of hot weather and poor AC.
