Review 1：Evening buffet at 24 euros so-so and not very good value though we did manage to get free coffee later (no coffee with meal)

Review 3：On arrival, we were given no information at all. On asking how to get our rooms, we were told "lifts are just over there". There was no information in the rooms. Although we were not using the kitchen facility in the room, it was very dirty and the same in our friends room. When we reported this to the maid, the door was locked so don't know if it was cleaned.(We stayed over the New Year period, so maybe more cleaning is done in season.)

Review 4：Good location with wonderful view of the bay, good variety of well prepared breakfast, rooms were spacious. Staff were, in the main, courteous and helpful.

Review 5：Took over an hour to book in, owing to the fact we could not arrive until 16-00 hours and then everybody is arriving together, utter chaos. Three our of 4 light bulbs not working in the bathroom and only 3 out of 6 in the bedroom, electric socket loose in the wall, on pulling out the plug the whole socket came out. Bedrooms very tired looking, they need decorating. I would certainly not recommend it.

Review 7：I was disappointed that my allocated suite was at the back and with a view and sound of roadworks. I was reallocated a better suite at the front with a sea view as initially requested. This was my first dissapointment with booking.com

Review 17：Breakfast is poor, every day the same, eggs soaked in oil, croissants dry, coffee was really unpleasant, I saw that it is made with powder milk and not real milk, you know that comes from cows. The rooms are not cleaned very thoughtfully. Couple of times they came exactly when the kids were napping and after asked by U.S. To come later, the ladies said they cannot and would come next day. Stuff at the reception don't speak English (only two people did). The hotel is manly visited by Portuguese people.

Review 18：The rooms are spacious and big enough for a family with two small kids. We had the junior suite.

Service unit in hallway had broken lock and door was open. This was not safe for children. Balcony doors very easily opened - not safe for children either. My advice - do NOT stay at this hotel. I was also charged €63 more than Booking.com quoted.

Review 42：Leaving this hotel was the best thing about it. One staff member was helpful and changed our room after I complained about the smell. Car park attendant helped with fitting car into a cramped parking space that was nearly impossible to get into because of lots of pillars. One barman was polite, the others treated me as if I were simply an annoyance. Reception staff did their job but were not in any way welcoming or warm. Nothing much good to say about this hotel really.

Beach is beautiful and very close, restaurants and shopping as well. The pool design is nice for parents to watch the big kids in the deep pool and little ones in the wading pool at the same time.

So almost everyday it was the same items on the breakfast menu. It would have been nice to have a bigger variety, especially with the hot breakfast dishes.

Review 96：The hotel was wonderful and real value for money. The location was perfect and was within walking distance of the beach, restuarants and shops. With younger children the facilities offered at the resort was wonderful.

Review 97：The fact that with so may families staying there, there is no ramp for stollers (the stairs at the entrance are not easy...); the lines waiting for the elevators (we often took the stairs down, as it was much faster), and the heat inside them; the lines for breakfast and dinner. Review 101：1. The dirt. The Master Suite we were first shown had not been cleaned - we even found a mobile phone a previous guest had left there behind a chest of drawers. The Master Suite we were shown next had what appeared to be several badly over-painted cigarette burns on the doors. The 3rd and final Master suite looked ok, but there was trash all over the caroetting outside the lifts that remained there for the 3 days of our stay.2. The food. The hotel claims to cater to a wide variety of tastes, but the reality is more that the hotel, in a country with such wonderful ingredients, gets the absolute cheapest bulk ingredients, which is probably not produced locally. Frankly, we found it so difficult to look at and ingest the hotel food that by the second day some of us gave up dinner, and by the third day we stopped eating in the hotel altogether, though we´d paid the half-board. Better eat wonderful croissants and cafe au laits for next to nothing at the Jardim Pastelaria a five minute walk away than face the revolting breakfast buffet in the morning. As for the dinner, our young daughter ate it the first night, and vomited it and her bile for the whole of the following day and evening. That did it for the appeal of the remaining dinners. We just had soup the second day, and skipped it the third day.3. The impression that several employees didn´t dare to be as helpful as they could - as if they lived under some kind of totalitarian regime that stripped them from taking any kind of service decisions on their own. This, plus the cement bunker style of the hotel, the cheap bar decor in red, yellow and blue, the canteen style of the dining room, and without a blade of grass or any kind of vegetation in sight - including in the outdoor pool area overlooking the street and the traffic - gave us the feeling of being in a "people´s hotel" run by a totalitarian state.4.
