Review 1：Although I booked for a non-smoking room, it was very strong and unsavory smoke odor... I asked for another room, but we didn't get, even though it was low season (in Januray), so I guess it was several free rooms. The jacuzzi and the sauna didn't work, the mini market was closed.

Review 3：Mouldy room, visible mould, bad smell of mould, due to lack of cleaning. Heating unit did not work and leaked all night which I or my child good have slipped on. The bed was disgraceful, mouldy, dirty, hair on sheets, I bought new bedding and stayed for one day only, I wouldn't have stayed at all, but it was located in the middle of nowhere. Dirty facilities, rude staff, the cleaning lady even told me she had ringworm! The sink was blocked when I arrived. Better conditions in the Calais jungle I am sure. Stay away, dirty, dirty, dirty

Review 4：Nothing, leaving. I had booked a longer stay and due to the mould, dirty conditions and lack of lighting I checked out. They were very rude and refused to give me the refund, I did however manage to get a partial refund. Stay away from this place, a health hazard.

Review 5：When I arrived I was not expected, i find this very bad and unwelcoming ,if a hotel uses booking .com it should check the bookings so as to welcome its guests ,I had been delayed and sent emails to the hotel informing them I would be late little did I know no one read them ,I'm sure if it had been the other way around the hotel would not of been happy, it just makes you feel unwelcome.

Review 12：Very nice, little and friendly place with few shops and small restaurants around. Nearest sandy beach about mile away but public stoney water entry near by. On site good outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds and bar. Positioned on little hill so for pushchairs and walking difficulties a little challenging to access. Bus stop just down the road, parking for few cars just outside. Excellent and cheap base to explore the island. Would recommend and would go back. Our room was good but could do with tlc however bathroom was clean and modern.

Review 13：Pervert peering through the bedroom window @ 03.00 in the morning. Ashtray outside entrance. Dog faeces on hotel property pic available. Youngmen hanging about outside waiting for transport. Indoor Pool u/S.Snowwhite pushing trolleys up/down passage @ 08:00. At £99.00 a weekself catering we did not expect much & we weren't disappointed.Well 3 days until we walked out. No we don't want a refund or thedeposit for the tv control.You should have a right to security respect& privacy. Mind you our privacy wasn't invaded by the maid inthe three days we were there. Will post pic of Dog faeces if you thinkit would add to the view or the Breakfast experience.

Review 15：As a solo traveller I booked a larger room with a balcony as I wanted the extra space and paid for it. When I queried the room I was given which was small and without a balcony, having booked space for three adults, it was stated that there weren't three people the implication being I should be satisfied with my room as I was on my own. They then accepted that I should move rooms but as it was a Sunday housekeeping vetoed me moving on a Sunday so I had to spend another night in the small room. They moved me on the Monday but I had to pay more. Please note everyone that if you book a self-catering apartment they don't supply washing up liquid or a sponge - you are expected to supply that yourself for health & safety reasons. There was no internal pool as it was being re-done.

Review 16：Restraint was shut and the mini market is a complete waste of time. The restraint behind the pool outside was expensive and poor food. Always ate out somewhere else.

Review 17：We had two different rooms and both were clean and tidy. Everything worked. No noise from anywhere. Second room the bed was very hard and after speaking to the staff a memory foam topper was added which was perfect. Nothing was any trouble. Pool is great outdoors. Indoor pool is very small.

Review 18：Airco is centrally managed and very bad! We booked a 'one bedroom appartment', but apparently that is the term for a studio in this hotel. So, we just had a large room with no separate bedroom! We complaint, but hotel was fully booked.

Review 19：Great pool and poolbar. Overall clean hotel, but very basic. Nicely remoderned bathroom. Best location is an apprtment with poolview (in the shade) on the second floor. First floot is basement with views on brick wall.

Review 20：The level of cleaning at the apartment was very poor. Our bathroom was cleaned once in 14 days. And even then I had to chase the maid to empty the bathroom bin. Complained to reception, they told me it should have been cleaned every 4 days! Not brilliant. Would not use this hotel again.

Review 26：- To access the room, I needed to use 2 elevators and walk along the hotel, passing by the laundry and an indoor bad smelling pool. - Ants in the room. - The access to other places was OK using the bus, but nothing to do or see around the hotel. - Not a current 3 stars hotel, the furniture is old and broken.

Review 29：the taxi service of the hotel.. booked it the night before to come early in the morning to take us to the airport.. it didn't turn up on the arranged time, the lady at hotel said that this was normal and that it should be here soon... we waited and still no taxi... we decided to arrange our own taxi off the street... luckily enough we found one but lady in the hotel wasnt happy that we done that and started saying that it was our fault and we shouldn't of got another taxi, which really made me even more angry and ended up telling her to go and do one ;) ... we didn't care because the taxi that we orderd through the hotel obviously had no conception of time and didn't care!! Thank god that we got our own taxi because he had to drive like a bat outta hell to get us to the airport. . we made it will minutes to spare... It cost us more money but we would of missed our flights if we had waited for the taxi from the hotel.. That was our only complaint for the rest the hotel was brilliant (obviously except that lady who was working the morning shift, she really peeved me off)

Review 31：The Hotel is placed very far from the "entertaining" part of thr island. You need to rent a car or go by bus everywhere. It is very time consuming. The hotel itself is ok. A bit old and needs some renovarion but ok.

Review 32：Just a bit small for an apartment. The kettle in our room was old, maybe a bit too much rust in it, to use. Our room did not have a balcony but a lot of the others do so be sure to ask for this.

Review 36：The hotel itself is nice but the location if you are looking to get around without having to pay for taxi's is not the best. There are buses which I think out of peak periods do run efficiently however during the busy times the buses are very overcrowded and don't run on time so can make exploring Malta difficult. We think the reason for this is due to people exploring Gozo so everyone is piling on the buses at Gozo and there is then no space. We got taxi's most places - if you can pick up taxi phone numbers as hotels tend to just use a specific company so taxi's are then limited.

Review 38：I paid for tree adult people. Got the room for two adult and child for sure...nobody cleaned the room. Air conditioning is switched off automatically e.g at 10am as we were informed latee on. Bar at the pool is a cementery, the barman wanted to cheat on my husband

Review 42：The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was basic and not clean at all. Our room had spider webs in most of the corner and mold. The staff was not friendly at all. When I got there I bought a wifi voucher for 7 days (pretty expensive) and after cleaning my room it disappeared. I told the staff what happened and they asked me to pay again! No apologies at all. TV and printing flight tickets costs money. They also didn't reply to emails. Horrible experience. Stay away if possible, would not recommend this place.

Review 43：- The pool area was worn and the water dirty. - Some of the staff was really rude. Both me and my wife got a wigging just because we asked a question about the clearing. I think they disliked guest from booking.com because we got a low price. - The stow was extremly slow, we had to use the microwave to do most of the cocking. - The balcony was a big dissapointment. It was small and the traffic was disturbing. - The beds was extremly hard. - The breakfast was poor. We tried it once and then decided that it was better to buy it in the mini market. - The hotel is located in a ruff area and taxi or bus is needed to get to nearest village.(There is some restaurants nearby and a small minimarket)

Review 48：- Close bus stop with a lot of options for transfer - Very nice, relatively cheap restaurant next to the pool - Self catering room with a small market in the hotel and nearby (our room was very cheap compared to other locations in Malta) - In general a very quiet budget place, good for relaxation (the rest of Malta was full with tourists). I would recommend it if you are on a budget and prefer quiet locations.

Review 54：We stayed there for 7 nights. Most of the time we spent exploring the island so we didn't actually had much time to try all the services this resort provides. Apartment was big enough for two people. Kitchen was well equipped with the essentials. If you want to spend more time in the hotel or at the pool it might be too small but if you're looking for cheap place to get rest after long day at the beach or exploring the island it might be ok

Review 55：The hotel is very old and unfortunately is not clean. The smell everywhere is really awful and if you don't ask to change the towels or to clean the room nobody will do it. For the breakfast we play extra and it was very bad. You can eat only bred, some salads. The cornflacks is really old. We play for tree people and the third bed was just little armchair. It was not comfortable for 7 nights.Before the check-in i asked the hotel if they are sure the third bed will be real bed because for 7 nights is not ok to sleep on armchair. If you want to take the remove control for the tv you must pay 10 euro deposit because of the young people and it was strange because in the hotel you can see only old couples. The problem with the internet is also big. You must pay voucher for 3/5 euro but after you pay once 3 euro next time there was no opportunity to buy 5-euro voucher.

Review 56：The good point of the hotel was, that everyone on the reception is ready to explain you how to find some place or to give you information about the buses. They can call a taxi and so one any time of the day.

Review 57：The hotel isn't at all a 3 star hotel. The indoor pool is very small, the fitness room is very old and most of the machines are broken. one day parts of the ceiling have fallen allover. there is no free wi-fi in the hotel, the only place where you have wireless is at the outside swimming pool. All the rooms had a funky smell (like wet walls), and the painting around the air vents was falling off. Also the AC is poorly functioning.

Review 65：The fire alarm went off every morning without fail at around 8:30am. The staff in the shop are never there and are grumpy unless you have the correct change- one male member off staff sat on the phone looking at us whilst we queued for over 10 minutes!

We had a self-catering apartment which was pretty nice and cosy and the kitchen and bathroom were clean and nice to use. The pool area and the friendliness of the staff was also impeccable and the entire hotel area was clean and well maintained. Overall, the stay was nice and suited our needs just fine. Price versus service was fine too

Review 69：Hotel restuarant was only open for breakfast - evening meal was advertised but not open. Location was far more remote than anticipated with the hotel being the only one in the vacintity. Not suitable for people with mobility problems. Bed was so uncomfortble - sun beds would have been more comfortable. The 'Shop' had very little which would support someone to go self catering - no milk or bread on many days.

Review 93：Very worn down hotel. Cleaning was very bad. The hotel states that it has air condition but you cannot control the AC. It turns on automatically in the evening, shuts down over night (so that you wakeup overheated in the middle of the night) and then it goes on in the morning again. Since the AC is automatic you can also not control the noise level which is very irritating. You have to deposit 10Euro to get the tv remote control....??!?!? Of course I spent 5 minutes looking for the damn thing first. The list can go on....I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Every little detail they can make money on for example safe deposit boxes has to be rented.

Review 94：The management was ok and helpfull and did their best, but that was more or less the only good thing about this hotel.

Review 95：Some of the staff members weren't very professional, and when a fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and we went downstairs there wasn't a member of staff to be seen. The breakfast, although providing a range of foods, was low quality and not very tasty at all. Only one small low quality shampoo and soap bottle were provided for a three Night stay, despite us asking for more. The pool wasn't very clean so we only used it for around fifteen minutes during the entirety of our stay.
