Review 1：its not that we didnt like it but instead of the hotel breakfast we recomend visiting amazing cafes and restaurants around the old city which provide cheaper and nicer breakfast in our opinion.

Review 2：we come to this hotel every time we are in Torun. High standard of customer service. Always very helpful with organising a parking space. Spacious and very clean rooms. And Japaneese toilet is just an extra treat :)

Review 3：The double bed is composed by 2 matresses which is not excellent if you want to sleep next to your wife/husband.

Review 4：The atmosphere is really nice and intimate. The hotel is literally 1 min walk from the old town market. The personnal is helpful and polite. The breakfast is worth the price.

Review 5：Had a wonderful time! Thank you to the staff who even arranged for a place to watch the All Blacks semi final for us! Restaurant had a wonderful breakfast with a great selection of Polish food. The room was beautiful and we were woken by the church bells in the morning which was a beautiful experience. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Review 6：We has a gorgeous antique suite with exposed brickwork and original beams. The room had extra facilities not normally experienced. The hotel is steps away from the old town square and we were able to park directly outside the building. Perfect.

Review 9：Why sandwich sleepers between a soft undermattress and an eiderdown featherbed in midsummer? Noisy aircon or pump reverberated through backyard and made sleeping with open window difficult. Very hard to find parking nr this inner-city property.

Review 11：No minuses at all really, though if I'm trying to find a fault it was surprising that there was no butter at breakfast either morning we were there.

Review 12：The location was absolutely perfect - on a street literally just off the main square so with all the benefits of being close to everything but quiet too. The room was absolutely lovely and even had a Japanese toilet seat that cleans your bottom! The building itself was lovely and full of character. And it was excellent value. I would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel.

Review 15：a historical building tastefully renovated, with an old wood structure visible and nicely lit, comfy beds, beautiful old furniture in the rooms, and in the common area. location excellent. very good breakfast, with some dishes changing from one day to another. downstairs in the lobby one can buy a set of local vodkas in a nice wooden case for a reasonable price.

Review 16：Breakfast is disappointing for 30PLN per person (tasteless scrambled eggs, instant coffee, cheap yoghurts, not enough fruits). Better go somewhere else for the breakfast as there is a lot of lovely coffee places in the neighbourhood.

Review 17：Lovely boutique hotel with a great localization, room was spacious and well equipped, TV in the bathroom :). Very comfortable for long romantic weekend. Beautiful, antique building with modern facilities. Very good cleaning service. Highly recommended!!!

Review 20：Hotel wifi was very poor. For several days of my stay, it hardly worked at all. Unfortunately, I was dependent on it for some of the things I was doing while staying there. By the end of my week, the issues had largely been sorted, but it took a long time.

Review 21：The hotel is in a wonderful position, in quite a quiet street, just50 metres from the Old Town Square. Staff, breakfast etc were all very good indeed, and comfort was excellent. I stayed 8 nights and was sad to leave.

Review 26：1. 30PLN per hour for later checkout - this is something I have never experienced. 2. In booking confirmation there was info that room has view on the old town - not at all. 3. On the checkin day I've got a mail from the hotel that if I will not confirm my booking by 18:00 then the reservation will be cancelled !!!. This is definitely something different then in cancellation policy. What if I would not noticed that mail and will come at 19:00?

Review 28：We loved this hotel. The main square was just a few steps away. We were able to park just outside the door for a reasonable price. The room felt luxurious. We really enjoyed the massage chair in the room after a day of driving!

Review 31：Pretty much all the time at the reception were people with "training" badges, they were nice, but had some problems with door cards and they couldn't solve it. Lighting in the rooms is somewhat strange, several spotlights along the walls, but generally pretty dark and definitely not good if you'd like to read in the bed. We also wanted to shorten the stay by one night and that was also impossible - until I called booking.com. Breakfast is limited (and paid extra), exactly the same every day, sometimes with shortages. Coffee maker had problems - every morning, instead of orange juice they are serving some coloured water. Very limited choice of warm dishes.

Review 32：Hotel is nice and very well located, just 1 minute from the main square. There is some design feel inside, but not everywhere. Lots of fancy equipment in the room (and bathroom), but not everything is explained, e.g. floor heating switch is very well hidden. If you arrive by car, remember to take "hotel guest" card, hotel is in pedestrian area and without it you might get a ticket.

Review 72：The staff were the most unfriendly I have ever experienced in any hotel anywhere in the world. Lighting in our room was so subdued that it was not possible to read in the evenings. A request for an additional light was very reluctantly accepted but I was told I could only have the extra lamp (40 Watt) for one of the two nights of our stay.

Review 73：It couldn't be more central being less than 100 metres from the Old Town Square, the main square of Torun. Easy to find if arriving by car so long as you understand that the no entry signs around the old town do in fact permit you to drive on what looks like pedestrian areas.

Review 74：There was no coffee or tea facilities in the room, and the English translation of the rules and regulations is actually very amusing, it's so poor.There is a mini bar but the prices are very high, cheaper to walk 30 metres to the local bars.

Review 75：Solaris is a convieniently positioned traditionly built hotel, full of original features. The hotel is very clean with friendly helpful staff. We stayed in room 206 which is at the back of the hotel, the room had air conditioning, the bed was extremely confortable with goose feather duvets and pillows. the on suite bathroom is excellent although the toshiba bidet toilet didn't work.the en suite even has a TV.

Review 82：The circuit breaker in the room buzzed horribly, I had to turn off the electricity at night. What was not shut down, it was an aggregator of air conditioning in the court ... Parking that when booking advised, dont exist. I had to find parking in the surrounding streets.

Review 93：This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is a boutique hotel with an old world charm with a cosmopolitan mix. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city which is great for sight seeing etc. Note parking is very limited in front of the hotel bu there are plenty of car-parks around. Staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfasts is excellent in the morning. The single room are small but very well equipped.

Review 94：There are no parking places near the hotel, what is understandable as itis placed in the middle of Old Town. However the desk service has givenus misleading information about where to park the car and how much itwill costs. Had we used their advice we would have paid too much and hadto go long way from the car to the hotel. That was the only drawback ofthe whole stay.

Review 102：Everything. You will get more than you pay. And nice special toilet facilities which is product by Japan. I had never seen that toilet facilities other than Japan. I had a problem my health at the night and asked for help for a receptionist and she helped quite nicely and found emergency hospital and arranged taxi and wrote some discription in Polish language on a piece of paper so as to make things easier. And the inside decoration is old fashioned with elegant furniture and very clean. Location is exellent, it is just behind main square in the town and in front of St.Mary church.
