Review 1：Very friendly staff,who make sure their patrons are always looked after well.The motel is in ideal position close to town centre & opposite the golf course
Review 2：Kitchen and laundry facilities were great to warm a bottle and wash a car seat after someone had been in the car a little too long. Simple, clean, bright room.
Review 3：We were charged an additional $15 because we had a baby with us and yet we didn't get told what that charge was for despite asking, just that bubby was an extra person. The room was horrible and we didn't even have an extra towel or pillow despite getting charged for 3 people.

Review 5：This hotel has been renovated to a degree . We booked at the last minut and got a queen room for $80 for the night !!! 450 metres from the beach ! Owner lady was super , the room was airy and very clean . Country club directly across the road with really good cheap food ! Don't expect 5 star but a bloody good 2 too 3 star no worries !!

Review 18：Door lock in the bath room was not working properly. One of my daughters got locked inside three times and I had to open it from out side. It was a bit annoying. However, it was a minor matter compared to good things about the place.

Review 20：This motel is fantastic. It's so reasonably priced and has everything you need. It's clean and very well maintained. There are flower beds outside each room which is such a lovely touch. And the staff are really friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't have a bad word to say about this motel and I would certainly recommend it.
Review 21：The room we were given was supposed to be an up grade that added $10 a night to the price to my observation of the motel all rooms were the same so what did we pay the extra money for. The bed was so bad we could not sleep , we had to ask for our money back or another room which we were given this , so instead of sight seeing we had a sleep because we had not sleep the night before.

Review 44：The only place to prepare snacks is the Guest's Kitchen, which is locked between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. - not very convenient if you want to leave earlier, or eat a little later. It's also quite small, allowing room for just one person to use it at a time.

The rooms and linen were quite clean and the staff courteous. It's located near to the Catalina Country Club, which offers good meals and welcomes visitors. The centre of Batemans Bay is only a short drive away.
Review 46：The Hanging Rock Motel exceeded my expectations for the price of the room. Firstly the staff were very welcoming and genuinely nice people that showed and interest in their clientele. The room was spacious, clean and had everything that I needed. The location was a little further than walking distance to the main area of the Bay but the Cataluna Club was opposite and great for dinners. I will definitely stay there again.

Review 63：I couldn't believe how friendly and welcoming the staff there where! It was a last minute booking and one of the only available places at the time and honestly wasn't overly excited about staying there, after this trip it will be my number one choice! Absolutely lovely!
Review 64：The staff were all so very friendly, relaxed and accomodating. Someone even washed our dishes after our bbq because the kitchen was locked by the time we returned! My son spilled orange juice on the sheet and mattress protector of the bed; I put both in our bathroom and told the owner/staff and he was really kind about it and said not to worry at all. Also, the cleaning staff helped us with things that we needed, as soon as we did - bin liner and bbq lighter. Fabulous people, indeed. We look forward to returning (and doing our own dishes and not spilling stuff next time - not creating such work for the staff :/). Thank you :)
Review 65：Great price over new years pool was beautiful was a motel but had luxuries like hotel bed( could of looked more appealing by changing to moden bed covers) they clean your room and change towels thats the best. Would of liked to have windows open in the room bit stuffy but overall was good

Review 72：When you book they ask how many people when you say 2 adults and one child it is assumed it must be a couple and child but with us it was me and two of my children one adult one child so it was hard when they give you a double and a single bed room as one slept on the floor as neither wanted to share a bed with each other don't blame them as one was boy other girl so they need to ask when booking online
