Review 1：indoor pool a bit small but its ok and something i would point to much noise in the morning... loud voices around 6am dont know if they were delivery men or neighbors and even horns... and the cleaners speak a little bit too loud and make to much noise to clean!!

Review 8：The hotel was just fine for our needs. My husband drove every day to Sliema for his language course(about 25 minutes), parking lot was available, me and my son walked every day with the buggy to the beach which was just fine to build some castles. It is coarse-grained sand. There is also the harbour to do boattrips in walking distance or you can go to the Aquarium depending on the age of the kids. Our 2-year old son liked Jack(from the staff of the housekeepers) because he gave him a lot of attention and made him laugh. Our son was always looking for his "best friend". The indoor pool was great for our son, too. And it was nice to have breakfast at the hotel.We had the room with the biggest balcony in our floor and it was very spacious. The staff made us an extra bed for our kid "thank you".The pool on the roof with terrace is great but we did not use it because the water temperature in November is too cold. But other guests were happy to make their "siesta" there in the sun. With our rental car we went to Mellieha Bay, which is very close. Also you can take the ferry to Gozo. Unfortunately, we did not have time for this trip. Popeye village is also very close... There are plenty activities to do in Malta...

Review 9：Nothing really but to be picky, maybe the food can be a little better. Some items were excellent but others were really ordinary. No complaints though because the price we paid was more than fair.

Review 13：The air conditioning was very poor. Honestly, there was no cold air, it didn`t work properly. The room is pretty old, with no renovation, the bath was leaking which was not comfortable at all. We were invaded by ants. The breakfast were typically English and the same all the time - eggs, bean, bean, eggs, becon and so on.

Review 14：The room was big and the stuff really friendly. The hotel is located pretty close to the beach and bus station, with some restaurants and shops nearby, which is really a good advantage.

Review 15：1/ We were made to pay for the drink that we did not order from the bar at the check-out. A recepcionist checking us out said that the mistake is not his and if we do not pay, he would have to pay himself. We did not have enough time to discuss the issue further as we had a plane to catch. We paid the money but the situation made us uncomfortable. Nobody has apologized to us for the inconvenience. 2/ The breakfast served at the hotel is of poor quality: orange squash instead of juice, hot (not bolied) water for tea, instant eggs, no fresh fruit - everything from the can, toast bread - sometimes the fresh baked bread was lacking:( 3/ We had to ask for the soap at least 3 times.

Review 21：One balcony door was broken, the manager closed it but we couldn't open it anymore. The toilet seat was broken and the flush didn't work. There was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom which wasn't clean when we arrived there. We couldn't use the heater because it was stopped from reception and it was really cold during the night. They had only one blanket in the room and that was dirty.

Review 22：The WiFi was very good in our room(on the first floor). The breakfast was ok but for a vegetarian there is not much options.

Review 24：Location was great, even though it is not as easy to find. The beach and bus station are 10 mins away, plenty of local restaurants, pastizzerias etc. Easy bus access to any other city. Staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Small and warm swimming pool on the ground floor. Overall definitely recommended!!!

Review 25：Neither pool was useable, the roof pool was 'closed for maintenance' and the heated pool was anything but heated! Squeaky beds and a tired looking room let the hotel down. Finally, out toilet seat came off! The staff weren't even surprised!

Review 27：Although most of the staff were friendly and helpful, there was one lady receptionist who I found unhelpful and not very happy to be there. The free wi-fi around the hotel was not very strong and often took a long time for things to load.

Review 28：The hotel is situated a 5-10 minute walk from Bugibba square and St Paul's Bay. We had a corner room which was very spacious for 3 people with a very large balcony and was nice and clean. The pool area was on the rooftop but it was not very big, luckily there was not many people there when we stayed and so this wasn't a problem. For a couple of days on our trip, the weather was windy and they closed the pool which was a little annoying as there was no where else around the hotel to sit in the sun. However, after asking nicely the manager decided he would open the roof top for us as it was our last day and our last chance to catch some sun.

Review 64：We only stayed one night as we had a family meal near by. We wanted it as cheap as possible as we were only sleeping. They allowed us to book just a double to keep the cost down. The beds were massive so we had plenty of room with her in bed with us.

Review 65：There was a problem with the hotel AC, It worked only for a few hours, and then nothing. We asked at reception and they said it had to be on at 21.00 but it never did. So we slept with the ceiling fan, but that is a bit noisy! I asked for a double bed and I got 2 singles next to each other , not even joined up.

Review 117：We stayed at the Sunflower as a group of 21 SCUBA divers and their families. The hotel is clean and within walking distance to shops and restaurants on the sea front. Breakfast was basic but a cooked breakfast is available for a small additional charge.

Review 118：Air con was rubbish I'm glad it wasn't the middle of summer. Wifi was impossible to log out so it made it an expensive item which in this day and age is totally unnecessary especially as the bars in town let you use it for free.

Review 121：Furniture a bit old, but rooms were nice and spacious with balconies, so in general you have all you need; staff - helpful and polite, location - approx. 10-15 min walk from the main square but also away from the tourist traffic. Breakfast - the same every day but ok for a short stay. Cleanliness - ok; we didn`t use the pool, so I cannot comment on that. In general you get what you pay for and if you are not too pricky on details, it is a very good hotel at very affordable price.

Review 134：It's still a fairly budget option so for the price no complaints. Walls are fairly thin and the rooms are nothing fancy. Be warned if you come by yourself: it's a little hard to find the first time, so check out google maps. And if you're driving, beware of one way roads, Malta is a real labyrinth. Best is to arrive from the seafront on the Buggiba side and then up towards the church.

Review 135：Nice to have a balcony. Fairly spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast all you can eat not amazing but alright. Atmosphere quite ok too with young and older couples, families, etc. Rooftop pool quite nice even though was too cold for us to use. Location is great if you like the quieter part of Malta, and still has enough nightlife about to enjoy restaurants and bars in the evening. Also a nice cinema across the road.
