Review 2：I felt as if we were guests in the home of the owners--rather than hotel guests! They are a fabulous couple! The construction of the small hotel is unbelievably excellent--the bath was better than what one would find in a 5-star hotel. The views from both the bedroom & bath were gorgeous! We both devoured a personally-prepared--to our choosing--sumptuous breakfast.

Review 3：No negative notes about the SCVI itself. If you don't want to drive, the local restaurant choices for dinner are very limited.

You can tell, that they love, what they are doing. they are helpful and caring, but never disturbing. the brakfast is something i already miss! they remembered, how you like your coffee and eggs and the food was fresh and tasty (exspecially the homegrown tomatos). although we traveled in the middle of the summer, the beach was never crowded, sometimes we were there on our own. the water is very cold, but there was always a chance to jump in the pool instead. i already miss the place, for it was perfect to catch rest and relax!

And what can we say about the hosts Ana & Jose - The most friendly, helpful and charming people you could wish to meet, quite simply, FIRST CLASS.

Review 10：Very friendly owners of the hotel explaining everything we needed. Ana can ease her guests very well. Quiet room with big bed and view on the ocean. The sun set was very well to observe. We got the address of a very fine restaurant in walking distance (Adega do Caresa) where we went eating each night. Fatima can cook excellent authentic portuguese cuisine at very reasonable prices. The breakfast is excellent with everything you need (eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit,...)

Review 11：From the moment we entered the gates into the ocean view property, to the last wave good bye to our wonderful hosts, this was perfection! We wish our stay of 3 days could have been expanded much longer so that we could continue to experience the sincere hospitality and amazing accommodations. Watching the sunsets, enjoying the pool, sleeping soundly in a totally upscale property with top notch amenities, and dining on a breakfast wonderfully prepared with some fresh locally grown produce and great variety are just some of the highlights of this experience. We have been traveling throughout Spain and Portugal for 2 months and this was our best experience in so many ways.

Review 16：On strength of previous reviews initially booked 3 nights in queen room. Liked it so much booked another 4 nights. Moved into king room liked it so much booked another 3 nights. The only fault I can give is we have to leave. (We are leaving in a few day's. Ana & Jose are perfect host, nothing is too much trouble they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is one you will want to treasure. I know we will. All the recommendations Ana & Jose provided have enriched our time here. The views are stunning it's a perfect base to explore a lovely side of Portugal and get the feel of authentic Portuguese hospitality.

Review 20：We had a very pleasant stay with Anna and Josef in the Silver Coast Vacation Inn for nine days. We traveled by bus from Lisbon to Lourinha, were Josef picked us up at the bus station. Anna had given us very good instructions which station to go in Lisbon and it took only 70 minutes to Lourinha with the express bus. We didn't miss a car at the quiet and peaceful location, overlooking the Atlantic ocean with stunning views. The nearest beach is only 7 minutes walking away from the Silver Coast Inn. The other beach is about 12 minutes walking. There is a nice restaurant in the village, only 5 minutes’ walk, a community bar with very good snacks at the nearest beach and a good beach bar at the other beach. In the village is a small supermarket and there is a little fridge in every room. There is also a honesty bar in the house where you can find drinks and snacks at good prices. If you like, Anna and Josef make you some sandwiches, hamburgers and so on. Anna and Josef invited us to a tasty and very pleasant barbecue with some other guests, friends and family. So, after a week it was as if we stayed with friends. We recommend this very nice guesthouse to everyone who loves a peaceful environment with beautiful ocean views and beaches on walking distance, very pleasant and helpful owners, and only few tourists.

Review 62：Ana and Josef were the friendliest hosts we have ever met. It was a pure joy staying with them. The house was beautifully designed. The breakfast was amazing because it had typical Portuguese meals. It was very quiet and romantic with an awesome Seaview on the atlantic ocean. Both of them talk fluent English, they had good tips on what to see around the place. After one night you already feel fully relaxed. Highly recommended.

Review 68：The village nearby is not that big with a couple of kiosks, a cafe and a restaurant, so the big city lovers will be disappointed. Some will find it quite charming though. The local food in the restaurant is actually quite great.

Review 69：We loved everything about this small hotel. The hotel is very new, built with good materials and in a nice location with view over the ocean. The Location also predisposes to make it a base for surrounding trips: Lisbon, Nazaré, Batalha, Coimbra and even Porto is not that far. But the best thing about the hotel is its hosts - Anna & José. Their hospitality make you feel like you are visiting your friends and not staying in the hotel. The rooms are quite big & light with exit to the garden. The bathroom was enormous. There is no airconditioning, but it is not a problem at all as one can always open the door and the breeze from the ocean will cool you down at any time. The mosquito nets are there too.
