Review 1：WiFi is not free of charge,there was no confirmation of my reservation upon arrival at the reception desk, staff is happy to carry on telephone conversation with another member as you waiting. Service is nowhere near to German or British standards.

Review 3：We also liked that the towels could be put on floor if we wanted them changed, however, we kept all ours hung up, yet on our 2nd day, we received all new towels! we were pleased with the creative towel presentation, but left Carmen a message saying we had wanted to keep using those towels as we only stayed a few days and we like to care about unnecessary laundry being created.

Review 4：We liked the location, the room furniture, the comfortable bed, the staff, most especially the tour advisor. No problems with the staff, but felt they could have been more pleasant.

Review 5：The staff are so lovely and friendly, very helpful and truly go out of their way to help you. The lounge downstairs is good for Internet or relaxing. Food is very good. View is great as is the terrace. Rooms basic but very clean and the whole package of this place, staff etc make this a great place to stay.

Review 6：Allocated dreadful room right next to a lift which squeaked up and down all night. Also the room had adjoining door so could hear next doors tv. Could not believe there was a charge for wi-fi - come on guys, get in to the 21st century. Wi-fi should be free - you will lose business, and, a charge for safe in room. Penny pinching at its worst.

Review 8：The shower was really awful. It was not like the normal once. It makes mist instead of normal shower water steam. Also the shower was build in the wall.

Review 19：The cleaner was very pleasant. Location is good. Sea view was pleasant.

Review 20：The reception staff were unbelievably rude. Not all the guests at the hotel speak Maltese, I do, and what I've heard from the staff when I had a qiestion about my room was shameful. We were 4 rooms in total, we work in Malta quite often, we will never return to your hotel only because of your staff.

Review 22：We had 3 appartment, 2 had to be changed at start, it was at first in 3 different place, staff did not speak english and was not really helpful to get the appartment, first changed appartments was sticky from dirt and smelly, one appartment if the hot water system was on you was not able to use other electrical item, peceptionists was rude, Wifi is unliable.

Review 41：Really big apartment with 2 bedrooms and cosy living room. Very good kitchen, fully equipped. Annex building in a very quiet place and close to Strand. Nice staff, every day our apartment was clean and even dishes were washed. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Review 42：Staff were unhelpful. I had arranged to prepay my room 8 months prior to arrival for convenience. They failed to charge my account upon arrival. Once payment was taken they sent me a bill the next day saying i didnt pay for it !!! In my room, i had a balony door that didnt close. When i asked for it to be fixed as it was a security issue i was ignored. It took several complaints to get it fixed. On top of this, the room was infested with insects. I was bitten all over and had large bite marks on my body. Staff were not sympathic or accommodating when told about it. They didnt put me in a new room. Worst hotel ever. There are basic requirements for all hotels, quiet, secure and clean. They didnt meet any of these requirements. Worst is the staff's poor attitude.

Review 44：i had a hotel with view for description is a lie. After arrival we found out that our room is located in another building away from the promenade there any 400 meters. I had a room with a view of the construction, from 7am it was impossible to sleep. I am disappointed because the description was different! The fact that the hotel is located in a good place to visit, but I would rather pay extra few pennies and be at another hotel, or completely change the city stay!

Review 49：Il-Gzira/Sliema has a water ferry to Valletta which is very convenient. There are also bus stops for most places on Malta, to help you explore. There are good bars & restaurants in both Sliema & Valletta. Prices are very reasonable.

Review 50：I've changed 3 rooms, check the photos, it was the cleanest one. unbelievable Filthy - smelly rooms, poor bed, broken A\C, no free + slow wi-fi, noisy - Unfriendly - the swimming pool its has a very green\brown water, didn't touch to be honest, I'm not that brave. they write they have a free parking but you'll discover that they mean the public street! Unbelievable. I travel a lot and I saw many horribles hotel, this one it's the worst one. I never review but people must know in order to avoid what I went through

The staff are not interesting about customers, 1st: I stayed in airport for long time waiting Bayview's car which I order, but there is no one. so I took taxi. 2nd: I send requests to be provided in the apartment, but they are ignored. 3rd:The beds are not suitable to sleep. The washing machine didn't work, I called room service then they sent some one to fix it AFTER 2 DAYS !!!!! 4th: There is no trolley or bellboy! Customer should take his baggage by self. to another building! 5th: I called reception for check out, They gave me [[[[SUPERMARKET CART]]]] to take my baggage by myself !!!!! I thought that was joke or funny camera!! wheres the trolley or bellboy??? nothing !!! i post photo for cart. 6th: There is a lot of noise from street and tent near around. 7th: The safety box should pay extra! finally, Bayview is the worst place, also changed my mind about Malta.

Review 63：The hotel has two buildings, one right in front of the seaport and another one a few minutes away, between other houses. We stayed in the second one. They did not mention this before the check-in.

Review 82：Noisy parties from room above. Noise from chairs being dragged across upstairs floor. Noise in corridors. No wifi at any time during the holiday - could not access from room, corridor or reception. Local teenagers using reception seating area in apartments as a meeting place during evenings/nights. Patio doors did not lock. Maid left windows and patio door wide open every day. Dirty, stained towels on last 2 days. Shower not sealed at one corner so bathroom flooded everyday. No one ever seen on apartment reception during the entire stay!

Review 91：I am very disappointed about the services and the approach provided because:- Even if I booked a room with sea view and non-chargeable until the day of arrival, I had two bad surprises: 1 – the hotel send me an email asking for a fee for sea view (?) and 2 – the hotel withdraw the entire fee for the 7 days of staying with 2 months before my arrival (?). I did a complain and finally after two reminders from my side, they gave me my money back.- I wanted to cancel my booking, but finally I decided to have tolerance and to keep my booking, hoping that everything will be ok and after the hotel assured me that it was an innocent mistake from their side (and the promise that they will ‘offer me the best room in their hotel’ .- In my first day, even if I asked to have a quiet room, they offered me one room at 1st floor, right above the main entrance – lots of noise coming from the street and from the bus station (in front of the hotel). I asked immediately to change my room with a more quite one. After two nights (because they forgot to speak among the shifts !) they have change it with a more ‘quite’ one – 6 floor. A very nice view and everything seams to be OK, except with the fact that just above our room it was the pool and every morning at 7 AM sharp they started to organize the chairs and tables on the floor …. Imagine how quite this can be!- In one day they gave us just one towel- Bring your own soap and shower gel because the one provided are very small and poor quality- Save 10 Euro to give it as guarantee for: remote control, hair dryer ..- They are not arranging the beds – we found our sheets as we left it and just the cover bad was arranged (image is attached)- One of the beds was awful – keep moving and making noise.

Review 95：the shower glass came off the rail and shattered while i was in the shower which was a frightening experience. Staff came to my assistance very promptly showing concern. Shower was also very small and needs updating.

Review 97：Rude and unhelpful staff. We arrived earlier at the hotel and had nowhere to leave our suitcases. We were offered a shelf in a small room behind the reception where everybody had acces-not a safe place to leave anything at all. Long queues to check in. Dirty rooms and old furnitures. Also there was this horrible smell coming out of the pipes. We had to pay for the Wi-fi Small and dirty swimming pool.Nothing to do with the pictures on the website Every morning the cleaners were making a lot of noise, so it was impossible to sleep after 8 am. On our last day the cleaning lady came at 9 am into our room...then apologised.It could happened, also we did not put the "do not disturb" tag. What is inacceptable that some other guy from the staff started to knock on our door at 10.30am to remind us that we have to leave at 11.00am.

Review 105：The hotel is very standard in service and atmosphere. You had to pay extra to use the kitchenette in the room. Wifi was also extra charge. The hotel will not leave a special souvenir. There is a rooftop swimming pool which is open from 10:00 till 18:00. But then we were visiting the city and the island. So we could not enjoy the pool.

Review 106：If you like staying in Sliema, then this hotels location is goed. The ferry to La Valletta and the harbourcruises are nearby. The view from the room (seaview) is + All the rest is OK, but very standard. 1 night was enough for us.

Review 107：A staff member sold us sightseeing bus tickets without telling us specifically where it picked up. We might have missed it, but luckily, we ran into an employee of the company who helped us. Also, the fitness center has a slippery tile floor that becomes dangerously slick after you start sweating (you will since there is no AC- I don't need the AC, just a more appropriate floor). Also, they need to get with the times and just offer free Wi-Fi everywhere in the hotel.

Review 108：Central location on the Strand is nice, and they have a nice rooftop pool area. There is a fitness center as well. Breakfast is OK. The downstairs staff can help you with tourist activities. Overall, a pretty good value and allows you to stay in Malta without breaking the bank. I would recommend it to travellers who don't want to pay for a luxury hotel, but want something solid but still affordable.

Review 109：There were no wi-fi, if yes you need to pay a lot of money - c'mob we have in the most hotels for free! The restaurant staff looked like they were forced to work, except Jano (hope its the right name), he was the only one with smily and looked like he loves his job. Closing hours of gym... why just till 7 pm? I didn't get back to hotel before 9 pm and afterwards I wanted go to gym, but I stayed in room instead... And deposit for TV controller? Is anybody really stealing this?

Very quite on the 6th floor. tv with satellite was also with good quality. Great there was a washing machine.

Review 120：We stayed here for one night; we just needed somewhere close to St Julian's to stay after a concert. This place was absolutely disgusting. I've stayed in hostels and backpackers that were cleaner (and safer) than this ie - water dripping from aircon onto power sockets, rust and mould in bathroom. We survived one night here, but I would have been devastated if we'd planned a significant part of our holiday around this hotel. Be warned: you get what you pay for: this place is cheap and nasty.

Review 121：The rude and unhelpful staff, the dirty room, the misleading information which does not highlight the fact the apartment rooms are not in the main building but are actually a 15 walk away from the harbour. The WiFi didn't work costing us time and Mobile data charges. I'm still waiting for the manager to get in touch with me regarding our terrible experience a month on from our stay! Major low points include the night receptionists telling us we had been checked in for a week already on arrival and that ee hadn't paid and those same receptionists refusing to call our friend a taxi to the airport, telling us the wrong address for us to order the taxi ourselves and then the Duty manager trying to make us pay for having to call the taxi company from the hotel phone to explain they were waiting in the wrong street whilst acknowledging those receptionists had many complaints against them. Our friend could have missed his flight home due to their incompetence!! Overall a terrible experience.

Review 122：Leaving! The staff were beyond unhelpful, did not take our complaints seriously, the "annex" booking is not even in the same building but a fifteen minute walk away so we couldn't even use the pool at our leisure- we had no idea of the location of our room before arrival. The WiFi did not work the entire time we stayed and we couldn't use the dirty, noisy air conditioning at night. The room was dirty and staff didn't come to clean it. We had to argue to get fresh towels during the 7 nights we were there. Worst experience in a hotel we've had.

Review 125：Bayview was good value for money. We had an excellent view from our room and were quite comfortable with the facilities. The hotel is not first class but it is worth the money we paid for our rooms. We had a buffet breakfast most mornings and were more than happy with the menu and cleanliness of the breakfast room.

Review 126：Additional charges for WiFi not mentioned in booking. Had to pay deposit for tb remote and pressing iron. Honestly felt like the hotel was trying to squeeze the last time out of guests

Review 132：Our duvet was torn, we didnt have any wash cloths, you had to pay a deposit to get your tv remote, you had to pay for wifi, there was lots of noise at night, even though they clean your room every day our sheets werent changed as we had the same torn one the whole time. Our towels had stains on them and in our friends room they had a hole in their matress

Review 133：The pool, view and location were fantastic. So was the lady working in the kiosk at the pool, very friendly and always willing to help out.

Review 134：Wifi is very poor, connection constantly on and off. TV in the main room did not work with paying a €10 deposit. Having been listed as a facility in the room this was annoying. Some staff at reception were not nice or helpful. Lady that checked us out didn't say as much as thank us. When we were upgraded apartment they said they would be responsible for moving everything (we never asked to be moved). I mentioned we had food in the fridge which we had placed in a bag for them to transfer to the new apartment. This they did and they left the bag with all our food up on the counter over the fridge in 30degree heat. Needless to stay everything was destroyed. Very disappointing as we were doing the hotel a favour moving rooms.

Review 135：Received an upgraded apartment half way through our stay. This was much nicer than the one we had in the annex. Although this too had been acceptable. Close to everything in Sliema. Lovely clean apartment with fresh towels provided most days. View from the apartment in the main building was beautiful.

Review 136：I didnt like the fact that i paid for what i thought was the bayview hotel with a pool on the roof and instead i was taken for streets down to appartments nowhere near the hotel. i had 3 small children and a baby and we had to cross 4 busy roads to get back to hotel and on top of that there were road works ongoing (nobodys fault i know) however when i spoke with the hotel they promised to move us the very next day, the next day they told me sorry the room was now not available and i either stay were i was or pay a silly amount of money to move to their bayview appartments. the staff were really unhelpful and very rude, they had no care the fact that i had small children and it was a danger to get to hotel, nothing was offered and nothing was done about it.

Review 137：The appartments were ok apart from the ants and the tv didnt work (even thou i paid 10 euro for the remote) the air con worked and that was nice

Review 138：we booking apartment with balcony, including internet, sauna and swimming pool but we got apartment at another street with out anything. Reception personel can not take care of guests, other guests were also very upset because the apartments were not such as are ordered and there was no internet! Staff was ignored us ruined my trip and we felt cheated.
