Review 1：Under renovation and we were not informed by Booking.com. Also paid more with Booking.com than if we paid the hotel directly. Average to below average in quality.

Review 2：I will say it was very clean where it mattered, ie beds and bathrooms.

Review 3：Rust and mold in the shower, peeling wallpaper, and a number of other poor-upkeep issues evident through both our room and the overall hotel. These may be target for their renovations too, but their signage only stated that the lobby was being fixed up.

Review 5：When we first entered the room there was an immediate odor. The room had mold on the ceiling near the front door and cobwebs and spiders were in the corner of one side of the room. The bathroom was moderately clean but the iron was sub par as it leaked water all over my shirt when ironing it. For $150/night you would expect a MUCH nicer facility. I realize it's a bit of a touristy area and room rates will reflect that, but there are much nicer hotels for the same price. In my opinion It should be around a $80/night room. We had to stay there because we brought our dog, which I am very grateful that they are a pet friendly hotel, but that does not mean I want to sleep in a moldy room with spiders and excess dirt.

Review 39：We were upgraded to a suite which you would think would be great. Well when you are traveling with two children and they now have to sleep on a pull out coach instead of a regular bed since there was only one bed. The room was dirty. My husband asked if the room doesn't get booked often because it looked like it really wasn't cared for. They said they did but the ring inside the toilet was clearly there for several weeks. There was old cereal on the floor, a lot, and I mean it was visible, of dust on the chair rail and baseboards, just dirty. Plus it was super noisy since the room faced the busy main road. I'm thinking they must have over-sold the hotel because this room was really no suite! I never write reviews but this was just a bad experience.

Review 40：The double beds were tiny & the pillows even tinier. They gave us only two towels & we had to keep calling for additional towels even though they were advised that we were four in the room. The spacing in the room was an issue. No where to place your luggage & no counter space for your toiletries.

Review 46：The hotel did not know about our Booking.com reservation. Another couple trying to check in had a similar problem, but they booked via Expedia. Another guest was in the lobby complaining that his room keys didn't work. The lobby manager finally got found my reservation by logging into Booking.com, and was able to process the reservation. She gave us our keys and told us the room number. Upon locating our room, we were taken aback to find the door to our room already open. There was a strong moldy smell to the room from the bathroom, which had no ventilation. There was mold/mildew along the edge of the bathtub. The carpet felt moist as well. We could tell the room hadn't been vacuumed since there were Fruit Loop cereal circles on the floor (and they were not ours). There was a spider in the room and I think my son got bit by a spider that night. The room felt dirty and run down. I called down to the front desk to tell them we'd only be staying one night instead of two as originally planned. The woman on the phone was somewhat rude about it but in the end said okay.

Review 47：The proximity to Hershey Park and Chocolate World, and the free parking, were the only positives to this hotel. The hotel does offer complimentary breakfast in the morning, but it is nothing spectacular.

Review 48：Some front office staff were not professional or very attentive. Carpet in room was dirty. TV reception was poor. Bed was not comfortable. There was a hotel guest who smelled badly and wasn't wearing shoes in the lobby when we arrived. He seemed to know one of the front office staff well and was chatting with her and hugging her while we were waiting. The card keys did not work for the room we were first given so staff came to get us another room. The next room she looked in for us she said "smelled funny" and went on the another room. I don't feel like this hotel was well run or that there was a competent manager on site. We won't be staying at this hotel again and I'm not sure we'll stay at another Best Western ever again.

The worst problem was the visibility of the sign and entrance to hotel. Extremely difficult to see. There needs to be another entrance at the other end of the parking lot. The floor in room appeared to be dirty. The desk clerk was told we needed a ground floor room because steps were difficult for us. She put us in a room where we had to walk through the lobby down a hall using a cart with our two small dogs. We didn't realize until later that there were rooms ground level in the back which we could have just parked in front of. Taking the dogs in and out would have been much handier from there also.

Review 57：Where do I start.......The air conditioner spit out warm air, the curtains would not close properly. The toilet bowl wobbled every time anyone went near it. The bathroom smelled like skunk. The room was dirty, they only surface clean......the door to our room had to be closed in a certain way.. The pool was filthy, and the ice machine was broken. The lights in our room did not work correctly, my husband who is an electrician fixed 2 lamps....this list can go on and on.

The room was missing a chair. The curtains did not close.

Review 85：Someone was smoking pot in the hall I was in was not very pleased especially when I am traveling with family and young children, I did let the front desk know and they took care of it immediately. My room keys did not work had to get them reset over and over, very frustrating especially when you have kids that just had a long dy at the park and just want to go to bed. Breakfast was gone at 9 and they were not puttin anything new out there was only juice and cereal, not happy when I specifically booked this hotel because it served breakfast and then had to go out and buy it anyways. Review 93：Requested an early check-in at time of reservation due to the fact that my daughter was in a skating competition and was on a time schedule. When we arrived at 2:30 we were told the check in was at 4:00- Strike 1. We then received our room keys . They didnt work- took another ten minutes to get a new one and a member of the staff accompanied us to make sure it worked-- he commented that " you have to jiggle it and push the key in real fast "" Really??? Strike 2-- After returning from the competition later that night we discoved that the curtains in the room did not close. They were mssing a panel . Since we had an outside room on the ground floor this was a concern since I have a 16 year old daughter. So we slept in our clothes and she changed in the bathroom. .Strike 3 -- I Just dealt with it because the place was booked . The next morning we checked out and I wanted to speak to the manager but apparently he was not in at 6:00 am in the morning so I expressed my concern to the front desk and asked for the manager to please contact me as I felt some type of accomodation should have been given . Heard nothing to date from mgmt.

Review 95：The pool is outdated. Hallways smell like smoke. My room phone rang in the middle of the night, each night. They did not clean the room, rather threw the sheets back on the bed. Card key to doors hardly work. If this was my first time traveling to Hershey, I probably wouldn't come back because of this hotel experience. Review 96：When the place is busy, The GM should be there helping his staff and not be looking at his passport ! The breakfeast was poor they had no milk, in early am no coffee no fruit and ect. To young of management at pm kids running banging on walls and doors till 11:45 pm till enough people called the front desk.!!!!

We checked in at 10:30 p.m. and was out of hotel next morning at 9:30 couldn't take it anymore. For a big hotel chain business was very disappointed.

Second morning there was no milk for cereal, orange juice machine was out of order. No muffins or danish, no waffles. Had to go to a restaurant for breakfast the rest of our stay. We stayed three nights and the total charge was $537.00!!!!!! Not even worth $100.00/per night. Take my advice.......DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!

Review 109：Pool area never provided towels, band aids around pool area that weren't discarded, original room smelled, located by a hang out area for employees to smoke and carpet was ripped. Housekeeping services were not done early. Had to wait hours before we can prepare for day since room was not completed until 4:30/5:00.

Also there were used towels hanging on the black of the door along with 2 pair of swimming trinket hat were still wet from previous guests. It was late in the evening and I didn't mention it to management until the next day. They refunded me a whole $25. Also while we were out for the day housekeeping left a bottle of half drunk power aid in the room. Somtimes they only left one washcloth for 3 people. Somtimes I was lucky and got 2. The door to the room didn't shut properly. It took a lot of muscle to open and close it. In fact the lock came unscrewed from the wall. Way too pricy for the accommodations. The breakfast room was too small and most of the time sanding room only. They would often run out of some of their food and garbage was overflowing. I could go on, but my fingers are getting too tired from typing.
