Review 1：Too small car parking , and inconvinient another one.

Review 3：This is a great hotel. They arranged a baby bed for our 3 month old baby, the breakfast is amazing (you can order it to your room for free), and the personnel is always very friendly and helpful.

Review 5：I raised my concerns about me being gluten intolerant on my arrival and I was offered gluten free breakfast that was all prepared for me the next morning. The staff was extremely helpful and understanding.

Review 6：I asked for quiet room and was assured it would be. First floor facing street with band playing on ground floor was not quiet. Restaurant was closed for dinner both nights we were there. We had to take guests to another hotel for dinner.

Review 8：The street-side rooms, while bigger and with great views, were obviously noisier (as the receptionist explained) with the sounds of the street below, though it wasn't too bad at all.

Review 9：The hotel's location in the city centre was a perfect home basefor exploring Bydgoszcz, and only a few minutes' walk from all the shops, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. Staff members were kind, professional, and incredibly helpful and accommodating of every request- they even offered us a choice of rooms upon arrival and let us see both before deciding! The rooms were beautiful and spacious, as was the rest of the hotel. Excellent experience overall and excellent quality for the price!

Review 21：It was necessary to dive under the desk to plug in laptop. For an older, or disabled person this can be a problem. The hotel offers extenders, but one needs to ask. The hotel restaurant is opened only until 8. I arrived somewhat later and I was very tired so the need of going out was very unpleasant.

Review 27：Haphazard room allocation. We booked 3 twin rooms for 6 guys. We got 1 lovely twin with a balcony, 1 twin up a side street and one double bed room with no view at all. The bar closes at 10 pm and is double the price of other bars around. I know this all sounds negative, but I would definitely go back again.

Review 45：We intended to have dinner in the restaurant and we went down at approx 6.30pm but restaurant seemed in darkness and when we asked what time it was open we were told 8pm. Went back down at 8pm again doors were closed and we were shown to a small room off the bar with 3 tables and given a small menu with a choice of 4 cold dishes?? When we asked the waiter if there was another menu he said no so we left as there was nothing we liked, he wasn't very pleasant really almost felt like we were a nuisance, then after reading a sign in the lift it would appear dinner finished at 8pm so don't know why we were told wrong initially when we'd asked. Also a couple of the doorman were very rude and almost looked at us as if we weren't good enough to be in the hotel, however there was 1 that was lovely.

Review 46：The reception staff were very pleasant, we arrived before 11am but they didn't hesitate to give us an available room. 2 of the house keepers then rushed about to get the room ready. Plenty of choice in the mini bar.

Review 48：I loved the way I was staying in a hotel that represented a bit of historic Poland. The interior decor is really beautiful and the exterior is an architectural triumph. The rooms have everything you would expect from a 21st century hotel ... a perfect combination. I would not hesitate to recommend that someone should stay there.

Review 54：Opulent golden staircase; charming staff with excellent English and a real desire to help. We took the suite with a grand piano; not much more expensive than a smaller room, it is really spacious and elegant. The bed was comfortable, bathrobes were provided and so was a mini bar (no alcohol) and hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Going home is going to be such a disappointment!

Room was equipped in a way adequate to 0.4 star hotel not the 4 star hotel (bed was very narrow and uncomfortable, bed linen and bedspread worn and looked dirty as well as towels in the bathroom. Curtains and fitted carpet were very old and worn. Bathroom was very small and poor. Room was located directly above tramway line. Price was very high and gave impression of comfortable stay. Total misunderstanding.

We liked the building - it is very grand, with a lovely central staircase. The rooms are comfortable, with everything you generally need, e.g. bedside lamps, blackout curtain, chairs. The bathroom is nice with plenty of towels, toiletries, hooks, etc, and a good shower over the bath. Everything was clean. The breakfast was good in our opinion, even for vegetarians. There is a lift.

Review 121：May be it is not fair, because we spent the night before at the nearly perfect hotel with fantastic buffet and food, but the breakfast in Hotel Pod Orłem was definitely not 4-star-Niveau. The internet access was not so easy because you had no choice your computer or smartphone could remember the code. So every time you for a moment stopped the connection, you had to do the whole procedure again.

Review 122：Architecture is great, a wonderful restored building with a lot of potential and atmosphere. Centrally located in Bydgoszcz, quite easy to find although a description to the parking possibility and advice what to do from the hotel could be helpful. The room was large, beds very comfortable, heating did work very well. It is clean and everything in the bathroom and the room did work and was in order. The restaurant itself offers good and tasteful food done after recipes from the 20es, but it is frequented very badly, so that we were the only guests.

Review 123：Old world luxury in a restored historical building, amazing staircase. Large room, classical design. On the main street, so ask for a back room (more quiet). Five minute walk to the Rynek. Many restaurants nearby. Large bathroom with tub, quality toiletries. High quality TV with lots of channels to watch. Parking at a shopping centre around the corner with places reserved for hotel guests. Very good breskfast. Internet worked fine.
