Review 1：Very friendly staff; excellent mattress; cosy, Portuguese-style interior. (They are about to refurbish soon, though; let's hope it stays that way.)

Review 14：This is an old-fashioned hotel, and all the better for it. Just don't expect the gleaming surfaces and modernist decor of its 21st century equivalents. Important for us was that everything functioned. The room was small but there were plenty of lounges and sitting rooms for anyone with the bad taste not to wish to spend the daytime exploring such a beautiful city.
