Review 8：Small child was not welcomed in the casa. We were relocated to a appartment room, without view. Unusual, we did not experience this anywhere else. The gate to the property was always locked with a traditional key; for every in or out servant ran to open the gate.

Review 18：Generally it's more like a b&b than a hotel - there is just one longtable for breakfast, and sometimes you feel rather as somebody who'simposing on the hosts than a king (E.G. the 'reserved' cushion is stillon the host's armchair in the common room). However, this didn't botherus much since the other guests (mostly German speaking) were very nice.Remember: the Atlantic is not the Mediterranean: the Atlantic wind canbe rather fresh also in the middle of summer and the water cold.
Review 19：The location and the view are perfect (the 'village' itself isn't, butthat didn't bother us at all). The location is also great to explore thearea especially with a car even though there is a direct bus to Lisbon.Breakfast is good and varied including fresh fruit. The beds are verycomfortable, the shower works well. Generally nice and friendlyatmosphere. If you want to have a nice meal nearby, go to 'Local f' onthe beach front (for food, the view, and friendliness of staff).
