Reviews for Yunus Hotel
Review 1:The hotel needs some restoration and investment as its a bit poor.
Review 2:THe staff were friendly. It was the cheapest hotel in the Town so I can not complain much.
Review 3:Walls are thin somewhat
Review 4:Staff is always ready to help and very kindly. Located in the center, close to what you need in the city. Breakfast is a good start of a day here.
Review 5:I stayed in the room for 21 days. The staff kinda got bored of me and didn't treat me nicely like the first day. No one cleaned my room throughout the 21 days. They always tried to charge me for things I didn't ask for. The breakfast was very basic and some times I find dirty silverware/dishes. Wifi was so slow, I had to go to other places to do work.
Review 6:The price of the room and locations were good.
Review 7:Yunis Hotel is very well located in Gaziantep, to the park, Tourist info, to the market and to the great restaurants in town. Staff were so helpful. Breakfast was great, even though it was Ramadan. And it has a lift!
Review 8:The bathroom and the shower. You will find some long hairs on the shower area. They wanted me to change to another hotel one night because they were full but finally the owner let me to stay
Review 9:If you stay in a room with at least a table will be great another rooms don't have almost anything but the bed and a chair...so first of all choose to see the room THe stafa is so friendly and they will help you (little English but translator do its work)
Review 10:The wifi was problem in my room had move down to lounge whenever I wanted to use it
Review 11:the staff was very helpful, always ready to assist and would always offer you a complementary coffee or tea when you sitting in the lounge
Review 12:I decided to stay one more day and it was supposed to change my hotel for another one. Finally and thanks to the manager I didnt havr to do that but I lost precious time while doing the change (to another room instead of another hotel)
Review 13:All the team on the front desk is amazing. So helpful amd kind the breakfast is superb you have almost everything you need the room was very clean there is a lift
Review 14:I had a Morning flight and wanted to make shower around 4:45 in the Morning. Unfortunately the hot water was not provided for some reason. The room number 301 was very specious and good, but the toilet seat was located in unpleasant and uncomfortable way.
Review 15:Staff are friendly and the Place is centerally located
Review 16:Noises coming from next rooms which are occupied by a group of old ladies. I think the hotel can not be blamed for this. Ladies were very loudy speaking and loughing.
Review 17:Friendly, helpful and respectful staff. Central location with majority of city attractions are within walking distance. Budget friendly.
Review 18:There are some casinos nearby, so it is noisy till 02-03 in the morning.
Review 19:Centrally Located, within 10-15 minutes walking distance to the Castle, the Old Bazaar, almost all the historical Inns, thanks to all staff for their politeness and helpfullness. Mustafa the Receptionist has offered delicious Turkish Coffee the moment I arrived to the Hotel.
Review 20:Sometimes noisy at night from the street....... but also from inside the hotel (ie other guests/staff Im not sure!)
Review 21:Friendly staff, comfy bed, good shower, central location.
Review 22:The location is very good, just a few steps away from the bazar and most sights. Easy to reach from otogar by public bus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large room with three beds for two person.
Review 23:The Hotel does not look good. It has to go over renovation. But, it is fine to sleep over if you are on the way to other places in Southeastern Turkey.
Review 24:Very close to some small and cute museums such as Toy museum, and also very close to the Fortress. But, what is most important, it is within 10 minutes walk from Katmerci Zekeriya Usta! Must go there!
Review 25:nothing
Review 26:Yunus Hotel staff are welcoming and helpful. There is always at least one English speaker on duty. Yunus is located on a small street so it is quiet at night My room was on the first floor (If you are early-to-bed as I am, I recommend asking for a room on a higher floor - the front desk/lobby activity can be heard in the late evening. The room was fairly spacious for Turkish standards as was the bathroom. Everything was clean. Breakfast is a buffet with a nice selection of items, more than the typical Turkish breakfast. Main attractions are a 10 minute walk from Yunus.
Review 27:The outside of the hotel looks so nice but the rooms really need some help. The hotels in Gaziantep are kind of pricey so you don't have many options.
Review 28:The staff tried their best but it really is a worn down place. The rooms are clean but the beds were a bit sad. The AC unit was old but got the job done.
Review 29:The breakfast was so so. I had better in other motels/hotels/hostels in Turkey. It was supose to start at 7 h, but when we arrived at 7 not everything was ready. But that doesn't matere for us. Good breakfast you can get anywhere were simit are sold. :)
Review 30:Yunus Hotel is just a walking distance away from the old city center and all main atractions in Gaziantep (well Zeugma museum is quite far but we managed on foot in appx 20 min). We had a double bed room (ensuite) and it was OK, small, with old furniture but clean. Clean towels and sleepers are included too. We wouldn't ask for more. The wifi in room was very good. For the money we paid I believe we get a nice stay in the vicinity of old city center.
Review 31:Would be nice to have a bedside lamp so that you can read comfortably. Also, the bathrooms could really use an upgrade. When you take a shower you have a pool of water in the entire small bathroom.
Review 32:Friendliness of service
Review 33:Room was a bit dingy, dirty curtains, basic bathroom
Review 34:Good location near nightlife and old quarter. Hotel has a lift! Room and bathroom not great but decent value. Amazing breakfast!!!!
Review 35:Hotel renovated just outside the building which is very small. Lobby isaround 15 m2!! Resteaurant area is 10 m2!! Think about the rooms.Esp.bathroom is terrible full of stain and corrosion, very old andtechnically not usable. Hotel manager tries to pull the client justpainting the outer building and putting an lcd inside the room. Bigliars! I am Turkish resident and write this message in English to warnesp. Foreigners who might think abut this "dirty hotel". Ican't see how come they got 7 or 8 from booking.com. Bookingmanagers should pay a visit just to see how their hotel ranking methodmight be misleading drammatically. Low price should not cause suchabsurde results in terms of hotel ranking!!
Review 36:Just price
Review 37:The corridors and stairs don't look very nice, but I dont think this is a big problem to anyone. There was some noise a night from some other rooms.
Review 38:Friendly staff (although no English) which helped us find a parking place nearby. Clean rooms, working wifi, good breakfast buffet. Quiet sideroad.
Review 39:The parking area is VERY limited, in a narrow and busy one-way street, difficult and sometimes impossible to reach. If you have a car and plan on using it during your stay, a better choice would be the many garages of the area (only 4 TL for 24 hours).
Review 40:Good location, very nice staff (though only one of them speaks english) and cheap price.
Review 41:If you wanna stay in Antep for a good price and in a nice small hotel which is simple with nice personal, good breakfast and familiar atmosphere - just go to Yunus! It's perfect for short trip to Antep or long-term stay with work in Antep.
Review 42:Bathroom a little on the small side but no drama. WiFi not super strong.
Review 43:Friendly helpful staff, simple clean room, lots of light, good breakfast, everything you could ask for in the price bracket for Turkey
Review 44:Wifi cut out every once in awhile and would stay out for a while. English was limited and it was hard to get suggestions about food and sights (not really necessary, but would have been helpful)
Review 45:Nice location right near the heart of the city and easy to access by transit bus. Staff was friendly, enthusiastic and competent. English help was limited, but sufficient for what I needed. Bathroom and room was clean and well cared for. Wifi was good and worked most of the time
Review 46:Nothing
Review 47:For a budget hotel this was excellent value for money. Located near the centre, very easy to access, clean and comfortable. Plenty of eating places around and lots to do. Very helpful staff.

Review 69:very convenient location, friendly service, simple comfortable rooms, reliable wifi, generous breakfast buffet... perfect.
Review 70:-problem with parking
Review 71:-location -food
Review 72:They gave me very small room, not like the one that I booked online The Hotel looks little bit old, but for overall it's OK!
Review 73:Staff
Review 74:Very friendly stuff and very good location.
Review 75:Whatever you need, the receptionist will try to fix it. Thanks and see you next time.
Review 76:Could be cleaner (especially curtains), furniture looks old. Bathroom needs renovation.
Review 77:Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, good location.
Review 78:simple but clean and comfortable rooms friendly staff in teh center, still not noisy
Review 79:no laundry service available
Review 80:quick respond to requests
Review 81:The wifi only worked sometimes!
Review 82:Really nice place, perfect location, and very good value for money.
Review 83:difficoltà to fine by car. bathroom very essential
Review 84:Close to city centre. staff very helpful
Review 85:Staff are friendly and helpful
Review 86:Friendly helpful staff. A kiosk selling booze at the end of the road.
Review 87:There were a few power outages during our stay (rolling black outs, perhaps?) We visited at the start of the high summer season, so prices were up here (and across Turkey). The hotel, however, was not full. Still, it was good value for the money at the upper end of the budget hotel range.
Review 88:The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was clean, basic and comfortable, and the location was convenient. For a budget Turkish hotel, the towels and pillows were especially nice. The common area downstairs is well stocked with Turkish newspapers, and the staff offered us tea whenever we made use of the reading room. When the power was on, the wi-fi worked throughout the hotel. The included breakfast was pleasant.
Review 89:Extremely hospitable and helpful staff. Facilities basic but sevicable. As per the usual for Turkey, bathroom too small for modern fitout.Otherwise, Excellent value for money.
Review 90:The beds weren't very comfortable, but that was really the only complaint from our group.
Review 91:Location was very central, and breakfast was excellent. The best part about Yunus are the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful to us, both with regards to our stay at the hotel and in giving recommendations of restaurants, sights, and transport to the bus station.
Review 92:Room is simple, but clean & comfortable. Nice & helpful staff (even the cleaning staff opened the door when saw me carrying stuff). The hotel is in city center where you can walk to Bazaar & restaurants. Good value for money.
Review 93:The lighting in the room was very poor. The room was loud, and didn't seem to stop any noise from coming in. The room was very basic.
Review 94:The location was great. The staff were helpful and courteous.
Review 95:Premium rooms have no wi-fi - after 30 minutes waiting for "the modem to be checked" was told there is always a problem in these rooms
Review 96:Great room, location, balcony with stunning view
Review 97:I really recommend this place, in the middle of the historical center of Gaziantep is perfectly located to discover around or reach any other business point of the city. All the staff is very friendly and helpful for any request make you feel and also the room are quite comfy. A plus is definitely the amazing breakfast full of local specialities.
Review 98:Nothing much. No wifi in room but no prob for me. Staff don't speak much English.
Review 99:Location Service oriented staff, best service of the budget hotels I have stayed in whole Turkey. Impressive.
Review 100:It was full up on the second night we wanted to stay there. Book early!
Review 101:This is the second time I have stayed here and the staff were very friendly. Rooms are very basic, but location is great. Right in the centre.
Review 102:The rooms and the bathrooms need a rather urgent attention, the furniture is old and the general impression is not that favourable
Review 103:The staff is very friendly and they try to make up for the deficiencies of the hotel
Review 104:Beds a little hard
Review 105:Very clean, well-run hotel. basic rooms but clean and tidy. Really liked the breakfast - some interesting and unusual local (i.e. spicy) touches. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Review 106:I hope to be going for the better and offer my appreciation and respect to all members of the community in Gaziantep and a sense of responsibility about their city clean and beautiful thanks
Review 107:The building is in urgent need of renovation; the hotel is cleanish and the staff are making earnest effort to keep it that way; the furniture - old, somewhat shabby and not very functional, e.g. overhead 'night' lamps shining red; the staff, though extremely friendly and eager to help you with everything, did not speak very much English
Review 108:Location - dead centre, within walking distance to the old town; value for money - for this price, you are indeed getting your money's worth, or even more; staff - friendly, extremely helpful, always smiling and very welcoming; nice traditional breakfast; good and convenient base for further trips, too - e.g. the ancient city of Zeugma or the Euphratus River
Review 109:Excellent location - just a few steps from bazar, castle, central park... Spacious rooms. Rich self service breakfast. Really good value for the money.
Review 110:Great value for the money. You cannot expect luxury, and it is a bit run down; however, it is clean, very central yet quiet. The breakfast was also quite good for the price. I will gladly return.
Review 111:No one spoke english.
Review 112:Breakfast allright... And a cheap hotel which off course isnt a five star - but its good value for the budget travellers and its central and still quite.
Review 113:Excellent combination of nice old stylish building, perfect location, clean, wonderful nice staff (family run), great breakfast and remarkably affordable. When i come back, i stay here.
Review 114:Nothing really.
Review 115:Staff great and very friendly. Not a lot of English spoken. This is a budget hotel but sheets/room clean - Air con works - breakfast great. Bathrooms not perfect but clean and functional. Great location for central Gaziantep.
Review 116:Neon green walls and too few outlets.
Review 117:Wide-spacious room close enough to the center, but just off the mainintersection to be quiet. Well-priced minibar was convenient as well.Friendly staff did their best to speak English. Fortunately, my Turkishmade up the rest.

Review 121:No good restaurants close to the hotel (besıdes kabop houses).
Review 122:Perhaps the perfect locatıon for Gazıentep vısıt. I have been travelıng ın Turkey for 3 months and thıs mıght be the best value-for-money hotel I have stayed at. I am a budget traveler; I don't expect luxury but I do expect professıonalısm. That's what I encountered at every step of my stay.
Review 123:It is really really hard to find, if you are driving a car. We ended upparking the car and finding it by foot. On the plus side our hotel staffwent with us to get the car, and parked it for us.
Review 124:The staff was very helpful and friendly, close to several baklavabakeries (super yummy). Kick butt shower!
Review 125:Furniture: Out of fashion, noisy Color of wall paint
Review 126:Staff:They did their best. Cleaning:Clean room and bad. Breakfats:Sufficient vareity Location: Very clos to bazaar Charge: Cheap
