Review 1：The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was well positioned and had good facilities. If the breakfast offered could be varied, or fruit and eggs could be served along with what is already offered, I would give it a 100% rating.

Review 2：The mattresses in our apartment need to be replaced. You could feel the springs in some areas. A sunshade/sunsails over the water in the swimming pool for the afternoon would be an advantage for kids to protect them from sunburn/UV rays.

Review 3：Cleanliness of the whole place, fantastic friendly staff and that includes cleaning staff, service staff, reception and maintenance. We will return.

Review 11：Friendly cosy atmosphere. Helpful staff. Indoor pool was warm and spotlessly clean. Food was excellent. Drinks were very cheap for a hotel. Spacious accomodation and exceptionally large balcony. Rooms were cleaned beautifully every day.

Review 12：The pool is really small. The spa/sauna isn't open. You have to pay 5€/person for gym or sauna/spa! Breakfast is so poor but luckily you have still kitchen in your room... The staff isn't so nice... They will help you if you have questions etc. But they are not welcoming you or anything... Hotel is old and need to have repairing... This was our first and our last time here (and also in Monte Gordo).

Review 14：It was specified that there was parking available, but when I arrived I was said that it was full. It was a nightmare to find a parking spot in the city, every time I needed to use the car.

Review 30：The breakfast was the same tasteless bread, boiled ham and tasteless cheese every day so after two weeks we were really tired of it. The two "juices" served was transparant and tasted artificial (terrible) and the coffe was strange tasting machine-coffee. Some mornings there were small yoghurts. No fruit, no vegetables. When so many sports-teams stays here, there should be the option to at least pay a small amount extra to get real orange juice, fruit-sallad, tomatoes and eggs!

Review 31：As we were on a training camp, we fully enjoyed the excellent gym at the hotel. It is a privately run gym, so you could get help and instructions from the owner. The room cleaning was super! They cleaned every day (good when you frequently run on the beach and the sand tend to follow you in to the room).

Review 32：The fact that final exit doors, which were on a designated fire exit were locked shut on a Sunday and throughout the night. With serious problems with temporary wedging of doors on the alternative higher risk route, without panic bolts on the non escape side. This was brought to the attention of the management, but they clearly had no concept of fire risk management. I have recorded this information for future reference!

Review 36：The apartment wasn't very clean. Under our bed was very dust. ..toilets are filty as well,gym and other facilities have to pay extra cost. So I really wasn't happy with this...

Review 38：The apartments were situated in a built-up area alongside other hotelsand residences. This meant the view from the balcony was also of otherhotels/residences, and not of the beach or nearby woods.

Review 39：The apartment was spacious and well equipped, with a nice breakfast barseparating the kitchen space from the living space. It had aircon inboth the living room and the bedroom, and both worked perfectly. Thebalcony was private and of a good size. All in all the facilitiesexceeded our expectations, and the indoor pool, though small, wasreally warm and a real bonus. The locality was quiet, but somewhaturban - 5 minutes walk to the main square, and 10 minutes to thebeach/casino area.

Review 40：I did not like that we had no hot water, and that the front desk knewabout it and acted like it was news to them. I read some comments onthe hotel, and found out more people complained about the same problem.The cleaning of the room was not verty good, and it smelled at timeswhen it got hotter, also with no air condition in the bedroom, it washard to fall asleep. We should be comensated for the money we spent onthat hotel.

But: the rooms were too noisy, in the night it wasimpossible to sleep without being disturbed because of the loud noise ofthe doors, of the people turning back at 02:00 in the morning etc.Morever, if somebody is interested, the only channels (not many) are inportuguese or in Dutch, nothing in french, italian, german or english!Last but not least: I am very very disappointed by the cleaning of thestudio! You never knew when they came (if they came!) and the cleaningwas really very bad!!! I stayed there for 2 weeks in August (the periodmore expensive) and the excessive price of the studio did not correspondto the rendered services! Absolutely not!

Review 45：The hotel is near to the beach (10 min.), to the center with shops,supermarkets and restaurants. Monte Gordo is very nice and goodplaced (near to many villages and Spain). The staff at the receptionwas sympatic.

Review 46：The apartment did not have air conditioning! Air conditioning machinehad been taken away from the outside wall. Our family could not sleep atnight, it was painfully hot! We told the reception, but that does notinterest them. I would have thought that the final price would berefunded, but not even that much! Unbelievable!!
