Review 1：The lobby and restaurant are still pretty much what they were in the old days: rather unpleasant although tidy. The personnel was helpful but unfortunately most did not speak any English. -And about the walls (and/or doors): sounds carry through rather easily. Light sleepers may have problems.
Review 2：The rooms have completely refitted and refurnished. The walls are where they are but the bed was good. Breakfast was plentiful and Russian and so on the heavy side. The hotel is at a very quiet place, if any disturbance it is due to other hotel guests.
