Review 1：The pool was great for the kids. Small but did the trick on a hot day. Rooms were spacious clean and comfortable very good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

Review 2：Room opened onto carpark. Lack of plates / cutlery. Had to ask for more. Only one BBQ table so first in, first served.

Review 15：Disappointed in the overall lack of TLC especially outside. Removal of cobwebs & dirt outside the room, plus dust inside,would have made a big improvement. Lots of late night noise from cars doing burnouts down the street - not that the motel owners would have any control over that :(

Review 20：This place needs a make over. Painting well over due, not clean and garden in disarray. These things should be at a higher standard considering the quiet time of winter is a good time to get place up to a decent standard. Pool area has overgrown plants and pool not clean.

Review 21：Helen, the owner, is a calm, well-presented, lovely lady, just like her establishment. Very clean, well-maintained accommodation. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will certainly be back! Your hard work is evident throughout the motel.

Review 22：The staff is dedicated and so helpful, I had to change my booking and they were incredibly understanding and pleasant. And the location is perfect, we will stay here again.... Actually this was our second time.

Review 23：Drab finish to room...looked old. Door banged because of wind outside. LIghts outside the room were on till midnight and this made it hard to sleep. Restaurant was closed so we had to go into town to eat.

Review 27：No parking near our room, had to park All the way around the other side of the rooms and walk. Bed was comfy and clean but furniture in room chipped and old. Walls were paper thin so it was noisy at night, we could hear a baby crying next door and people talking in middle of the night. Facilities were old and outdated.

Review 33：I did not receive a confirmation from the accommodation. I called them to find out the day before my stay if everything was ok, they said my credit card had been declined. My booking.com credit card is an Amex and I said there was no way it could have decline. She responds with 'We don't take Amex but booking.com have it as a requirement to sign up'. Would have expected a call when they couldn't put the payment through. And who doesn't know card numbers starting with 3 are Amex?

Review 35：We thought the cottage had a lounge and couch area because the pics appear like this but it didn't. It was a small room, where the heater didn't work, there were no cooking facilities and the cottage wasn't sound proof. On our second night a couple with a baby stayed in the cottage next to us. The cottage is basically a house split into two rooms. We were rather annoyed that reception would check in a family next to a single couple. We were awake at 6 am when the baby woke and stayed awake until 8am when the family finally left. We could hear the child, the couple walking around, and then talking. My husband and i work long hours and we wanted a quiet weekend away just to sleep and recharge. This family could have been checked-in to one of the many vacant standard rooms instead of next to our non-sound proof room. Don't request this room if u want quiet time.

Review 37：The fridge wasn't turned on and had defrosted. We had to clean up the water in the freezer tray then get the fridge going. The hair dryer provided didn't work.

No were to sit only on the bed .basically no where to put anything. Had to get undressed in the cupboard and why would a room that small have a microwave there was no we're for food. Review 56：Healesville is a lovely little town and Sanctuary House is well situated (although not within easy walking distance) for the town centre. It is only 400 m from Healesville Sanctuary and about 1km to a great cider producer with an excellent café and tasting room.
