Review 1：We had a warm welcome and exceptional hospitality from Manuela and Jorge.Their house has been a labour of love for the last 20 years and they have turned it into a palace. It is a gorgeous house, richly decorated and in a great position.They are keen to share it with their guests. When it comes to looking after guests Manuela is a perfectionist. Nothing seemed too much trouble to her. Every night she brought cakes, chilled water and a liquer of our choice to the room. She put a topper on the mattress to make it more comfortable for my wife. She even provided a birthday cake much to my surprise as she had seen my date of birth on my passport!

Review 3：Don't use Google Maps to find this - you'll go the wrong way!! Use the grid reference, or in fact it's simple: see the hotel above the bridge as you come across, and the small concrete road up to it is opposite, just to the left of the restaurant on the road.

Review 7：This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. George and Manuela the owners are such lovely people, it felt like we were staying with family or friends! It is not a hotel, it's more like a 5 star, very luxurious B&B with hosts who love opening their beautiful home to guests. The house is magnificent, and overlooks the whole of Silves. We were given little snacks and port before bed and Manuela did a special birthday breakfast for my boyfriend. Such lovely people - you must stay here! We will definitely visit again.
