Review 1：Nothing. It was a dirty, FILTHY, hotel. Food was disgusting. No hot water for the duration of our 3 night stay. After asking for it to be sorted out, the housekeeping Manager came to have a look, and told me that the tepid water was hot. No water pressure. On the last day the shower fixings broke! No concierge services and no lifts so had to carry our own bags to and from hotel rooms. Staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Definitely not a 4star hotel. Booking.com should not advertise it as such. DONT ever choose the half board meal plan. It's not worth it. No duvet - only a duvet cover. Ants everywhere.

Review 3：The beach cabana and Koggala beach hotels have a better ambience and maintained much better than Long beach and one more property in the same location !

Review 4：The location with respect to the beach . Was not too happy with the rooms provided at long beach especially had requested interconnecting rooms which was not provided . But on request the lobby manager was kind enough to upgrade to better rooms . Buffets are basic and don't expect a lavish spread . But surely value for money . The beach is one of the best you can find !

Review 5：Least hospitable staff and frustrating check in process. The food was extremely disappointing. Smallest quantity for the highest price when order from A'la Carté. Buffet had no choice for foreign nationals.

Review 9：My first few days in the hotel, the Wifi was awfully bad. I hated myself, had to go to the lobby almost every time to use the internet. they later on fixed it maybe because they discovered i was about to check out.

Review 11：I was awakeed at about 2.30pm while having a nap after heavy lunch by the house keeping boys to clean the room. I already told the boys to clean it in the morning. We were out of the room till 1pm and no one has bothered to clean in the morning.

Review 15：The management of this hotel is very very bad. The staff is nice but their managers are very rude and don't care about tourist that come individually. So if you don't have any issue you will be ok, but if you travel alone and have some problem (eg fixing something in your room, securing your laundry to come on time, etc) you will experience the rudeness of the staff'a bosses. We had a problem w our laundry and the manager literally yelled at us in front of everyone and left in the middle of the conversation. There are few chairs at the beach. Very bad wi fi service in the rooms. Assume there is no wi fi in the rooms Expensive drinks

Review 17：Would of been gutted if I had paid full price and turnt up to that bedroom. Bathroom was very poor. And the bed was two single beds pushed together.

Review 39：On the beach, in front of the hotel, local people are starring at you, making your day at the beach very uncomfortable. The room had wet walls and the smell was really bad. We could not make international calls or exchange money. Besides pool attendant and a house keeping guy, the service is not what is supposed to be. WiFi doesn't work in the room. You need to stay at reception to use internet.

Review 46：The hotel is really badly managed, the bathroom was dirty when we arrived, the second day only the bed was made (at 4 pm, and under request). No towels change, no complimentary services in the room replaced. Extremely bad food, not only for the buffet, but even for the a la carte menu. Not prepared for western tourism. The staff is unprofessional, slow, and not effitient. There was not internet available at the second floor (even when we could see the router installed in the aisle). The telephone in the room was unuseful, even to call to another room.

In my first half an hour there Iheard 4 complaints and when I complained that we had been waiting inreception over an hour to check in to our room the manager gave me adirty look and rolled his eyes at me.
