Review 1：A lot of noise from across the river til nearly midnight.

Review 2：Very basic, clean and simple budget friendly place, convenient for a short stay at the Bay. Basic amenities and friendly staff.

Review 3：When i first checked in and recieved the key for the room the lady who served me didnt tell me where any of the faccilitys where or anything about the resort besides the pool wich we didnt swim in anyway because it had cloudy water coming out of the filters and there was also a frog swimming around in it I was also a little upset when I first walked in the room and noticed there was dust on all the surfaces and the glass between the spa and bathroom had water marks all over it also I came across 6 spiders in the cupboards and the first night I was bitten on the neck by one of the spiders and my parter also almost stood on a red belly black snake right down stairs from our room.On The second day I went and had a shower and there was no body was or shampoo and also no hand wash and also the hair dryer did not work The lock on the screan door for the balcony did not work so we had to have the glass door shut at all times so our 17 month old couldnt get out because the balcony was not safe for a toddler she could off fallen straight through the gaps on the railings I was also dissapionted that when I got there I was told they double booked the rooms and that we had to go in a spa room and even though we didnt have to Pay extra it was unpractical for a toddler and I barely got to relax because I was worried she would hurt herself because she kept trying to climb into the spa and go onto the balcony also when I booked I put I had a child and also put her age I didnt make a fuss at all while there and didnt intend to because it was a good price and I guess I kind of expected there to be a few things not right because you get what u pay for. The resort has a lot of potential I think yous should charge a little more and work a little harder to perfect the little things

Review 5：The Motel was very tired and the rooms very dated. They had liquid soap in containers for showers and basin. It was very run down. Needed a lot of work.

Review 6：Resort usually means, "just that" Yes there was a tennis court and pool, but that is were the resort ended Thank god for Sandi-- without her the place would be totally unbearable, There was cob webs in our room around the roof, no phone, pen, paper,hair dryer,tissues, hand towel, face washer or even a tea spoon to make a cuppa with Donna cover on the queen bed had seen better days,only three pillows in the place that had seen better days, the bed was okay, but way too low, hard to get out of in the morning. The restaurant meal was good,for an evening meal especially after a long day travelling. Once again thanks to Sandi--an all rounder. Sandi had good knowledge of the area, but really was so over worked doing basically everything. Reception, Waitress in the restaurant, back there in the morning for breakfast, ( no cooked breakfast available) too much for one person to have to do ""Get extra help for restaurant and leave Sandi on Reception is my suggestion"

The meal was delicious and fantastic value for money 50% off mains in the restaurant including seafood at the time of my stay and breakfast included each morning. Would stay there again.

Review 14：When booking I asked for a certain type of room which we didn't get. Bed base was broken and after two complaints was told to put up with it. Drains in bathroom were overflowing into bathroom. The smell was bad. Sheets didn't fit the bed.

Review 16：We had a dirty shower with hairs on the walls. The bed felt it had fleas cause we scratched ourselves most of the night. We couldn't open the door to the balcony and it was very hard to open the window. To summarize: Not value for money

Review 18：The place is unkept and very run down - both the rooms and property. Carpet didn't look properly vacuumed. No face cloths or bath mat. Shower is over the bath and hubby couldn't fit under athe low shower head. For a family room, biggest disappointment was there was no kitchen sink, no plates, bowls or cutlery so couldn't bring takeaways or make snacks for child. The free bfast is very average - cheap bread, canned fruit and cereal option more for kids. And no staff - only the one lady doing the front desk and bfast in the morning. Personally, we would not visit this place again unless it's had a makeover.

Review 19：The rooms are large, had a family room and great size for 2.5 yr old to have space for playing.

Review 20：This resort unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. The carpet was absolutely disgusting whereby it had many dirty stains and a bad odour, we had to leave the window open all night in order to breathe fresh air because the odour from the carpet was very unpleasant and was making us sick. The bathroom was the most disgusting area in the room. The toilet was dirty and was not up to cleanliness standard and the bathroom basin was also putrid. The cups provided were dirty and had not been washed. The fridge was disgusting also. It had dirty marks all over it and it had a very bad odor when we opened the door. Overnight. the bathroom was leaking, and there was water on the floor and toilet seat. Toilet paper was soaking wet and we could not even use toilet paper. We feel the state of this resort is in a shameful and absolutely pitiful and appalling state. Therefore it is unfair to expect travellers to pay for this type of accommodation. We feel it should be shut down until it is fully renovated up to hotel standards.

Review 21：There was a musty smell but once the air started to circulate with the help of aircon, it disappeared.

Review 22：Value for money cannot be beaten! The property owner was extra attentive and kind, the room was clean and spacious not to mention the best kitchen facility a motel could offer. The shower was the best on our trip of 8 nights through the coast

Review 23：The major negative point of this motel was the fact that we had to leave. We could have quite comfortably stayed there for a much longer stay.

Review 24：There are so many positive things to say about this motel. One of the best features was the ability to open the main door of our room as well as the back door (which opened onto a glorious view of the river and the bay), which allowed a wonderful breeze to flow through the room. The room was extremely comfortable as well as being quite clean. A highlight of our stay was the breakfast (which was included in the already extremely affordable price), there was a vast array of cereals, fruits, bread types as well as spreads and even yoghurt. There was even a choice of teas and coffee. We were made feel so welcomed and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We would also recommend the restaurant, the meals were absolutely delightful, the choice of meals was substantial and the entire dining experience was one we will talk about for many years to come. We certain got value for money, and then some.

Review 25：Room was so dirty..carpets where so bad i didnt want to take my thongs off..mould all over shower walls. Power point in bathroom very unsafe couldnt use.Cockroachs running arpund room..we booked 2 nights only stayed 1 had to go book somewhere else.im just glad i didnt have kids with me.only stay the 1 night because i had drove so far and the money i paided.bad enough losing out for 2nd night and paying for another room else where.never again.oh and our view was a pile off rubbish under the trees.

Review 31：We booked 4 rooms. All rooms had an odd odour. The air conditions were loud. The breakfast was free but very limited. There was only toast, cereal, yoghurt and two juices. Wifi connection was poor. Doors cant be locked from the outside. You have to lock it from the inside and then shut the door.

Air and thousands mosquitoes eat us alive. Free breakfast provided was a great idea but milk was feeling almost off so I feel sick a long after it.need more signs where to enter the road cause I missed up lots of times and end up on petrol station at front.

Review 40：We arrived on a 35 degree day and were advised the pool could not be used as it was dirty. Food was left in the refrigerator from previous occupant Window in room was cracked/broken, shower curtain ripped, shower tiling mouldy, and overall the facilities were tired looking, even though we were advised our room had been 'recently done up'. When we said the room we had been given was not the one advertised, (which had a better view) we were advised the one advertised would not suit us as the air conditioning did not work very well. There was a huge pile of discarded furniture and rubbish in the grounds, which certainly took away from the view, which could have otherwise been lovely

No mattress protectors on beds .not a serviced room but had to ask for cloths etc to clean benches, aircon filter in desperate need of cleaning,the whole place is rundown.There is health & safety issues in walkways & outside our room with sinking pavers which they covered with a mat but it still caused a problem with footing when entering back door.

Review 51：I stayed for a week, no fresh towels or was the room serviced. Had a TVwith no remote, tea cups but no kettle and had 2 large spiders plus a centipede on different occasions join me in my room. It also smelt as old as it looked.

We had a door to the adjoining room and it let us hear all the sounds from the neighbors during the whole night so don't agree to live in such kind of rooms unless your friends are your neighbors. Never ever live here.

Review 66：Stayed in unit 38. My booking confirmation said there was heating, but there wasn't. There was also no hairdryer. No tea towel to dry crockery. Toilet did not flush properly, took 3 - 4 goes every time. Room needs new carpet, painting and a general refurbish.

Review 67：The location is great with wonderful views of the river. Restaurant food was excellent with friendly, efficient staff. Reception staff was also very friendly and helpful. Beds were quite comfortable. Inclusive breakfast a big plus.

Review 68：Room wasn't very clean! There was an empty beer bottle left under the bed, the bed was messing a leg so one side felt like you were sleeping in the floor. The bathroom had mold everywhere and seemed like it hadn't had a good clean in a few months!

General cleanliness needs to improve.

Review 75：Reasonable rates. Great location. Restaurant food was excellent. They had a special where every main meal was half price. My husband thoroughly enjoyed a good cut of steak cooked blue so Chef knew how to cook.

Review 76：The carpet needed a good vacuum and the bathroom needed a good dusting. There was no microwave or toaster either which is unusual in motels in this day and age. If I was staying more than 1 night, I would definitely require a microwave and a toaster in the room.

Review 77：Nice position. Able to see the river (and even the sunrise if you stood outside). The traffic noise was not too bad at all. The motel is only minutes to Batemans Bay and about 15mins from Mogo Zoo. Beds were comfortable. The sunset was just down the road, behind the motel. Sadly we had to leave too early so we missed out on the breakfast.

Review 107：the room wasn't anything like the pictures and hasn't been updated since the 70's. Initially got the wrong room then I asked for the right room according to my booking. unclean carpets and bathroom, cobwebs on terrace. bed uncomfortable and sagging, and air-conditioning hardly effective and very noisy. rooms weren't serviced or cleaned the whole 3 days I was there and I only encountered staff on check in and checkout times at reception.
