Reviews for Kenzi Tower

Review 1:They gave room with broken window glasses..the worst thing was when i was about to check out i recieved cancelation email from booking.com. i informed the hotel that i spent a night already and how did you cancel the reservation just an hour before the checkout time! !! May be it has something to do with the booking.com fees..i really do not know but it was not really nice from the hotel.. By the way mr. mahdi did not do anything for me... I might not come back to this hotel.

Review 2:Specious rooms

Review 3:the bathroom was huge including a beautiful shower which i really enjoyed, had a slight odd smell.

Review 4:rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, linens plentiful. upper floor lounge had good food, live entertainment, and a spectacular view of the city, the staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and English speaking.

Review 5:I made a reservation for a non smoking room and I got a smoking room. The receptionist told me it would be a non smoking room - but there was a ashtray in the room and it smelled horrible. After complaining I got another room with twin beds instead of a double and close to the main street. It was so loud that it was really hard to sleep and we got no pillows for the first night. Furthermore the room looked a bit run down. At the checkout another guest complained about the hotel a lot and called it worst hotel ever. I don't agree with that but the hotel was not convenient and has a bad cost-benefit ratio.

Review 6:I ordered room service over phone, when food was brought, french fries were not delivered, but bread instead. When I arrived, we got vouchers for a free drink in the rooftop bar, 27th floor. However, after our drink, when presenting the vouchers we were told : 1) we should have presented the vouchers before ordering 2) Only foreseen for cocktail : the Red Bull (even though price of this is way below cocktail) needed to be paid. This information is NOT printed on the voucher.

Review 7:Very good and immediate service

Review 8:This is an expensive hotel that thinks itself a top tier establishment and treats clientele who don't meet its snobbish approach very unpleasantly. Though we paid for the very best, we were not allowed to bring water or food (bought in the Medina) into the hotel; the bathtub was so unsafe it was a health hazard; the noise from the traffic (even on floors above the 20th) kept us awake; the price of a glass of oj was $8; the decor in the lobby looked like a scene out of Austin Powers.

Review 9:The view from the room.

Review 10:You are not allowed to enter hotel with food and drinks. We arrived late in the evening, and restaurants were closed. After buying some food to go, we wanted to eat in our room and relax, but we were not allowed In. They forced us to eat on a street in the city we just arrived in at NIGHT! The staff was not able to explain us what is the reason for these savage rules. The deposit of my credit card was booked twice by mistake.

Review 11:Very beautiful hotel. Nice facilities :hot tub and swimming pool, comfy suits.

Review 12:The bathroom is the opposite of user friendly--sharp edges, no place to hang anything, and, worst of all, a bathtub which is a safety hazard. Everything is very aesthetic, but poorly thought out. The tub is difficult to get into and almost impossible to get out of. There are no handles, yet it is completely curved and deep and slippery once wet. Small things: both the bidet and toilet were uncomfortable to sit on--something our party of 10 people in 5 rooms have never experienced elsewhere. In our own room, a bathroom fixture pulled right out of the wall. The staff was usually friendly and helpful, but tried to stop us from bringing any food or water into the hotel to our one member who was sick and unable to go out. Instead, they insisted that she order room service which was slow and wildly overpriced.

Review 13:Bed and bedroom were excellent, as was pool.

Review 14:I could not see the outside well and could not take a picture due to black patterns shaped like a dots of window on it. But, others are ok. Price must be lowered a little bit.

Review 15:Breakfast was beautiful and delicious.

Review 16:There was no hot water in the first day. The traffic noise even comes up to 21st floor. The breakfast is too expensive. The elavator sometimes fails to come soon.

Review 17:The staff is extremely hospital and they always helped when ever I had any request. The food was good, the room was big enough. Excellent view and location.

Review 18:Breakfast was too expensive for us at 240 Moroccan Dirhams per person. We stayed 4 nights and had the buffet breakfast only once.

Review 19:Nice view of Hassan II Mosque from our room.

Review 20:All was good

Review 21:Mainly the location and the friendliness of the staff. All staff are very helpful and polite, they made us feel welcomed all the time and offered before even asking for it

Review 22:The aesthetic was garish and trying to be something it was not. Our stay felt inauthentic and like a tourist trap. The restaurant on the 27th floor was a joke, style and service-wise, especially for how expensive it was.

Review 23:Staff was friendly and the views on the higher floors were great.

Review 24:Location of Hotel is excellent, check in / Check out was smooth and friendly, concierge (Mr. Fakhar) was helpful, Wonderful SPA, one of best bar (Sky 28) in town. rooms are spacious and clean

Review 25:House keeping service is not good, hotel is bit expensive. Breakfast was not good at all.

Review 26:Internet access, location, view, sky28 bar, Room was comfortable

Review 27:- Extremely high price for drinks ( EUR 23 vodka red bull, EUR 6 water?! ) - Price of breakfast very high ( +/- EUR 24)

Review 28:+ Well trained staff. + Location + Room ( amazing view) + Excellent service

Review 29:There were few services that was charged on me though I haven't ordered them. Pay attention to your check out receipt! O spa is discusting. Very scary decoration. The worst Hammam I have ever taken. I was charged for a type of message that I didn't request !!

Review 30:Very nice view, too many stores near by. Indian resturant just two blocks away. Twin center is the next building.

Review 31:As we didn't have transport we had to rely on Taxis. A local Taxi to were we needed to go was 100Dh whereas the Hotel charged 600Dh for the same journey. Extortionate and a rip off.

Review 32:Poor customer service, the concierge were helpless & very Poor. Réception staff not avalaible on Time. Room service does not have any necessary medication. Staff were arguing with each other. Apart from the location Nothing is worth staying for.

Review 33:Location only

Review 34:internet at night was very slow.

Review 35:bed is comfortable , clean rooms , quiet the best is the food offered by the room service ( harira) a Moroccan dish not to miss.

Review 36:Reception. And the hotel policy to accommodate an over night guest having check in with another room. Funny just a process to make money(:-

Review 37:Location of the place and. The sky Bar

Review 38:nothing is properly finished, the flush did not work properly, toilet paper is rubbish, you have to pay for coffee and tea in the room (40 Mad , 4GBP!) when in an hotel of that standard should be free. i also had a double expresso at the bar for 90GBP ... room service was okish but slow. place is really expensive and service not good enough for the price.

Review 39:Overall the hotel location is good and the design of the room nice. Staff was really nice.

Review 40:Expresso coffee not included in the breakfast. Humidity smell all across the room and especially in the toilet. Room service took more than 1 hour to arrive.

Review 41:Booking.com messed up my booking and confirmed that I can check in 2am in the morning which was never communicated to the hotel and caused me to wait for two hour in the lounge while the hotel staff sorted things out , called booking.com staff but there reply was nothing they can do.

Review 42:There was a mix up and the assistant general manager dealt with it amicably. The staff in general was very friendly and help full the facilities were good and the service was exceptional.

Review 43:All of the rooms smell strongly of cigarette smoke. The service by a good portion of the Bar28 is subpar and needs to be revised to reach the hotel's level of excellence. (From the restaurant manager to a portion of the staff)

Review 44:The Duty Managers and Staff in general were excellent! The valet service is absolutely impressive!! Security team is both welcoming and highly efficient!

Review 45:Hi. I booked sky deluxe doodle room with panoramic city view, I been given room 302 which has back view on 3floor. The room smells with cigarettes . I checked out @midnight . I will never go there again.

Review 46:Nothing

Review 47:Noise due to location: true, it is somewhat noisy, if you want the Hasan2 mosque view. Try to choose the highest possible floors or choose theback view. Any hotel in a big financial city is usually noisy (E.g NewYork, Tokyo...etc), and Casablanca is the financial city of Morocco.DOTTED WINDOW: TRUE, which is really bad. It obscures the amazing view of the ocean and Hasan 2 masjid. RESTAURANT: TRUE, I think it needs improvement and attention from management. I went to the main restaurant on 2nd floor at around 9:30 pm, which is a normal dining time, in the middle east, however the waiter told me they have finished serving dinner, due to the fact they a large event or group or something. Fine. So I went to the restaurant on the 27th floor, ordered a smoked salmon, and unfortunately they do not have tartar sauce, which is my favorite sauce with smoked salmon. I also ordered a grilled salmon as my main meal, but it was terrible. Please, Mr. Chef, change the recipe, and make a better marinade. Also, Salmon likes lemon butter sauce!!! You have to serve it with lemon butter sauce! Restaurant needs improvement, in my opinion.

Review 48:- Very friendly staff- Relaxing atmosphere - Nice spa - Room was very comfortable - Lobby is wonderful - Fast internet - Nice rain shower. Amazing! Notes about previous bad reviews from other guests: Regarding "ELEVATOR TAKES AGES TO ARRIVE": NO it does not take ages to arrive!! It is a smart elevator, such as those found in many high tech executive buildings. You have to punch in your desired floor on a panel, then stand at the elevator, which the panel directs you to go to. So if it guides you to go to elevator 'A', you have to go and wait at elevator 'A'. If you keep standing at elevator 'D', it will never come!! That simple. I have 2 videos proving it does not take ages, but I think I cannot upload them here. Regarding "VERY SLOW INTERNET": NO, it is very fast, and I have a proof (Speedtest). The speed is very much ok, which allows you to whatsapp, facebook, viber is crisp and clean, online games. Little hickups when sending a photo, I think due to upload speed (I think, I am not a tech). After I checked in and entered my room, I choose the network and password, my iphone and my ipads are connected during all my stay. No hassles at all, as some mentioned. No hassle as to number of devices. Not even one time, did the connection disconnect. Only rarely, during sending a picture on whatsapp, just you resend it and it goes. Regarding "CHECK IN IS SLOW": NO, check in was super fast. Maybe the person who gave this bad review had this as an exceptional case. For me, it was super fast. Regarding "CHECK OUT and WRONG ITEMS CHARGED": NO, it went smooth and fast. No false charges, and my card was charged for the right amount. Thanks also to Mr. Khalil Jabrane, Guest Relation Manager, for your warm welcome and farewell.

Review 49:The availability of the people to support and help you

Review 50:IT is simply the best hotel in Casablanca. The service is perfect, the people extremely friendly and service orientated. I guaranty you will enjoy your stay

Review 51:They don't give any complementary tea of coffee in the room. In fact there is not even a cattle to warm up for tea... so no free bees on the table

Review 52:The bath was super with sit in. Great view from.20th and above.

Review 53:If you have a problem don't try to call reception, they don't pick up the phone. My TV didn't work and I asked to send someone. Nobody showed up to check it. The suite is big but only a very small space if provided to work with a laptop, and there are not power outlets to plug it.

Review 54:The views from the top

Review 55:The only bad experiance I faced is that they deduct around $ 200 from my Visa with no reason and without my approval. However, this has been taken care of very fast, apologizing and mentioning that it was by mistake, and they returned the money directly to my Visa. For that, I urge everyone to check his payment details before leaving the hotel, cuz it could possibly happens to anyone in the future if he's not paying attention.

Review 56:Staff were supportive and proffessional. Location was good . Check in and out were very smooth. Will go back again for sure.

Review 57:Excellent check in efficiency (greeting, calling guest by name, the smile, speed of check in, rooms ready in time), management follow up. Same thing during the check out time as I had only 5 hours to stay in Casablanca.. In General the best hotel in town with the best management team.

Review 58:Bad quality of service, untrained staff, lack of professional attitude, noisy... good 4* hotel, don't expect more

Review 59:Location city center, view on the city

Review 60:Room maintenance was lacking, the gym needs water, towels and lighting to be available at all hours, I was there at 6am and the place had not been re stock from the day before.

Review 61:The room was large and spacious with a great view of the city.

Review 62:Breakfast was expensive

Review 63:Room was quiet and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was convenient. Wifi worked everywhere.

Review 64:The furniture in the room was old and used. If you pay 5 star price - you expect 5 star treatment Traces of Glass /Cup rings on the panoramic window shelf. This is a 5 star. See if that would happen in a 5 star in Dubai?

Review 65:I got upgraded to premium suite as 1st time customer. very nice view

Review 66:Everything was amazing except for check in process it takes very long time I would like to specially thank Ms. Sana she knew how to observe our anger due to one staff rude harsh response

Review 67:Location , room size , city view

Review 68:Poor service level in restaurant and bar let an otherwise pleasant stay down There were more staff than customers at breakfast service and almost impossible to get coffee every day. Service in bar was not much beter

Review 69:Room was big; bed bigger and after much travel the most comfortable I have slept in for a very long time

Review 70:1= We could not dine at the restaurant on the 28th floor due to cigarette smoke, not what we are used in other Kenzi hotels. 2= During check-in the receptionist asked us for a marriage certificate despite seeing that we had a baby with us, a common but insulting practice in Moroccan hotels that I was not expecting in a five star hotel where staff should be smarter and think before asking. 3= We had requested a baby crib during the reservation process. Upon arrival we were brought a substandard quality crib that had no mattress. It looked extremely dirty, with stains that looked like urine, and it smelled nasty. Rather than a mattress a couple of blankets were folded in it. Definitely not five star quality or service. We had our baby sleep on the floor instead after a rather difficult night. 4= It was obvious that the room was retouched recently especially the bathroom, but it would be nice to remove the duct tape the painters left behind.

Review 71:1= Staff were very nice and friendly from the bell and doormen to security, room service, restaurant (especially Mohamed from Taroudant) and management. The place was clean and had stunning views over the whole city. 2= The receptionist who asked for our marriage certificate did not insist and apologized when I protested the archaic nature of the question and that she should be more careful because of the veiled assumptions behind it. 3= The problem with the crib was resolved the next day following a complaint to management. Both the duty manager Zakaria and Katia were very friendly and helpful. Katia apologized profusely which convinced us not to take matters further. 4= Rooms are completely soundproofed, and made for a comfortable and quiet night.

Review 72:Room service Rude staff at reception (girl) Room not cleaned everyday even with (clean my room tag on door) Old furniture

Review 73:This hotel is all about location, nothing more .

Review 74:jacuzzi was often not working, breakfast coffee was not good, room service for breakfast was not flexible, it was not possible to order coffee with milk, you only could order coffee or milk

Review 75:view from the room (21st floor), good swimmingpool, jacuzzi (when working...), view from the the bar at the top (28th) floor, free parking, well positioned in the city

Review 76:I've stayed in many hotels throughout the years. Experience at Kenzi was horrible. I stayed there for 10 days. I had a double deluxe room. The tv would switch on and off on its own. There was a electrical wiring problem. They kept trying to fix it. They would switch on/off wifi as they pleased. When asked to change the room. The staff didn't cooperate. When I tried to contact the front desk for couple more times because the tv and wiring issue was taking too long. The front desk guy, Mohsin, he talked with harsh louder tone that," we are trying to fix. It's a five star hotel. We will change the room if it doesn't work". It's a nightmare if you have a problem and you only speak English. You've to be strict with them to get things done. I've had pleasant stays in 3-star hotels.

Review 77:The view from the room, comfortable bed and the location was fine.

Review 78:Sometimes there was a strange smell coming from the bathroom drains. Wifi was cut off on our departure day, even though we were checking out at 12:00 we had no wifi the whole morning.

Review 79:Rooms are the best we have seen in Casablanca. Staff very friendly, good location, bed is excellent, wifi is fast.

Review 80:cheating on prices -even they charged you tax while your booking including that , overcharged, wardrobe stinking, you have to put a lot of perfume to get rid of that

Review 83:The hotel is nice located and clean .

Review 86:On first glance it is an impressive hotel. The bed is like a cloud. Breakfast is also amazing!!!

Review 88:Warmly recommended! Staff do their very best to feel you as comfortable as possible. Nice breakfast buffet. Restaurant (with cosy live music on piano) offers great service and good meals. Rooms are big, comfortable and offer a very nice view over Casablanca. Centrally located. 9,5/10 !!!

Review 90:everything was great, Staff freindly and helpful, rooms spacious and clean.

Review 91:very long time waiting if you call reception. bad smell in room because of Bathroom. No Toilet rinser. Air condition is not working, when you call the technician he fix it and come back again not working. Not allowed to bring food from outside hotels, even if you brought some sandwich with you. Swimming pool is very small and very short, closing at 10 pm so you can't use it at night.

Review 92:Location of Hotel is very nice, near by most of shopping centers and famous brands. Food is very nice.

Review 93:No Complain
