Review 1：For the price you pay, it is not really acceptable that only cash payment is possible.
Review 2：The apartments (we rented two of them, the red and the yellow ones) are really nice and wonderfully equipped with any kind of stuff, including an amazing collection of DVDs. You really have the feeling to be at home more than in an impersonal self-catering apartment. Terrace view and the garden are amazing. Finally, Silves is optimally positioned for exploring Algarve.
Review 3：If you are heading daily for Algarve beaches, put 20-30 minutes drive each way, and an average 5 eur per day for the highway fees.
Review 4：Go during the Silves Medieval Festival 12-16 August. It was rhe nicest surprise for us:-) It is very, very busy but gives life to this small city.

Review 7：The facilities are great. The swimming-pool is good for 2 people. The location is great too, next to the castle, on the top of the town so offering a great view. Everything we needed was in the house. We loved our stay!
Review 8：- sorry to say, but the sleeping quality suffered a lot due to the very hard mattress. Plus the sleeping room was just below the roof, thus temperature was >25C. - ceiling of sleeping room does not allow to stand upright. Be careful. - sadly, the furniture on the terrace is tired and was sourced from a campground. A nice wooden table and chairs would be a better fit for this otherwise wonderful terrace. - overall, a bit pricey for the offering

Review 10：Quintal do Castelo is situated on the top of the hill in Silves from where you can admire a beautiful view of the old town. Silves as a small town is very charming: narrow streets, typical portuguese buildings, lovely small cafes, restaurants with fresh fish and seefood etc. There is a castle as well. Really nice to visit. Its super romantic place. Apartaments Quintal do Castelo are located in the beautiful garden with colorful flowers and full of orange trees. There is a nice pool where you can rest on the comfortable sunbad:) Each apatrament has its own terrase where you can enjoy your meal. Rooms are very cosy and clean. It's a perfect place to rest and ideal location from where you can visit all the Algarve. The host is super nice, helpful and hospitable. This place is the most charming place I have ever been to. Totally recomend to everyone who enjoy beauty and calmness.

Review 15：We arrived late after a delayed flight. The fridge had been stoked with a few provisions and a bottle of wine so we had a delicious supper on the terrace. We loved making our own orange juice in the mornings with oranges picked from the tree in the garden. Wonderful!
