Reviews for Casa da Silveirinha

Review 1:We had a room with a private bathroom downstairs from our room, but the twisting staircase with a low ceiling made difficult access during the night.

Review 2:Great location. Lovely breakfast. Nice terrace and garden off a tiny communal sitting area.

Review 3:Unable to easily connect to Wi-Fi, not sure why however.. seemed like the password wasn't the one required, but checked multiple times. Once finally connected it was very slow. Please double-check on the passcode handwritten on the router, or rerwrite again clearly.

Review 4:A very, very clean house. Very nice and patient staff! Love the place and the neighbourhood. Added it all together it was the best place I've stayed with booking.com so far.

Review 5:Wi-Fi worked only in common area, signal was weak and unstable.

Review 6:Accommodation in a stone building within castle city walls. It was very quiet and clean. The owner is very friendly and didn't interfere in our stay. Great breakfast! Marvelous surroundings.

Review 7:It was cold and damp but,an electric fire was provided Breakfast was just about adequate. no butter on the second morning and synthetic orange juice. We were left to our own devices and only briefly saw the housekeeper at breakfast.

Review 8:Position of the house and views from bedroom window. Tastefully decorated.

Review 9:The host was nice, but she wasn't at the premises at our arrival. We had to call up and wait 10 minutes for her to arrive.

Review 10:Great establishment and location. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious and very clean.

Review 11:The location is fabulous, with beautiful surroundings and wide open views of the valley. We loved the charming little garden and exploring the surrounding areas. The house was extremely comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was very very good! It was a perfect romantic get away.

Review 16:Everything! The staff was great and the location is is perfect!

Review 17:The Casa is situated in the rather beginning of the Medieval City , the place is very peaceful and historic. I traveled with my friend, and asked for separate beds in the same room - so where we arrived to Casa , we were told that each one received separate room because they don't have rooms with separate beds - without adding money, of course - isn't it terribly nice of them ?;-)

Review 18:N / A

Review 19:Location, location, location! We were looking for historic, scenic, out-of-the-way places, and Casa da Silveirinha did not disappoint us. Good sleep, good breakfast, and good value. Also the town was very interesting.

Review 20:The breakfast was a bit disappointing.

Review 21:The location is superb, inside the castle's walls, and they accept dogs, which unfortunately in Portugal is not very common and more places should follow this example!
