Reviews for Jukaitei

Review 1:This ryokan was amazing experience! We loved the food, the stuff is incredibly nice, there is nothing that we didn't like. At the time we booked this ryokan, it seemed a bit expensive, but when we came there and experienced everything they offered, we can just say its great value for the money!

Review 2:We don't have a single bad thing to say about our stay at Jukaitei. Honestly it was a fabulous experience. There was a shuttle waiting for us when we arrived at the station. Upon reaching the ryokan we were greeted by the staff and allowed to choose our own tabi socks and yukata to wear that night. Before dinner I luxuriated in the private, deep tub while watching the sun set over the ocean. The food was delicious and plentiful, with both dinner and breakfast consisting of fresh, local seafood. I definitely recommend staying a night here with a significant other or with family/ friends. Fun and relaxing!

Review 3:Nothing.

Review 4:Communication between the manager at Jukaitei was through email and Niwa was always prompt and accommodating. The staff made us feel welcome and it was always service with sincerity and warmth. From the driver down to the kitchen staff service was excellent.

Review 5:It does take a while to get here from kyoto or osaka or Kobe but worth the effort if you have time.

Review 6:This traditional style hotel was a wonderful break from the hustle of the city. Wonderful pick up service from the station, excellent service adjusting to the needs of our party travelling with a 3 month old baby! Amazing food!

Review 7:Not much. Perhaps the location might be a bit remote for some but we saw it as a plus point

Review 8:This ryokan is situated at the cliff side and the rooms boast beautiful views of the Japan sea and coastline. Service was friendly and professional. Our room came with a cedar hot tub which had a window that viewed out to the sea. The food was excellent and featured seafood that was sourced locally. This place is good value for money considering the luxury of the rooms plus the fact that meals are included.

Review 9:Great upscale hotel and restaurant in the deep countryside. I have eaten here a couple times on business tripos and wondered if the room and lodging services could live up to my expectations...the staff and accommodations did not disappoint. Highly recommend to westerners or non japanese nationals. Booking.com staff were very helpful at chech-in and Check-out as I had several special requests. Thaks for such a great experience.
