Review 6:Very comfortable bed. Very clean including shared bathrooms - great double shower and ambience in hotel - decorated in period of hotel but modernised. Loved dining room even though we didn't use it.
Review 7:Beautiful rooms, well appointed, and lovely clean shared bathrooms. Also, staff were very helpful and moved a noisy young group from the upstairs balcony when we were trying to get to sleep.
Review 8:Very expensive for the value provided. Shared bathrooms and no breakfast for 180 AUD for a double bedroom is pricy, even if it is during the long weekend of the Melbourne cup.
Review 9:A charming all hotel. Very clean.
Review 10:electric blanket did not appear even though it was mentioned on booking form. Shared bathroom would not be attractive if there were many guests.

Review 15:Great atmosphere and good food in restaurant, and nice to be able to simply walk upstairs after dinner.
Review 16:No hot water in the shower. Rather expensive for an old country pub with shared facilities. Noise from patrons talking in the bar could be clearly heard from the rooms.
Review 17:Good location in the centre of Healesville.
Review 18:We stayed for one night when booking there was no reference to a public holiday surcharge applying on food and drinks. Our car was parked in the hotel car park and when we went to leave the next we discovered it had been damaged and our fuel tank drained the hotel staff were not very helpful at all
Review 19:The room was clean and comfortable
Review 20:Sharing a bathroom. When we got there, staff indicated that a 3-course dinner was included in price, however did not know this as not indicated anywhere on the booking & we were there for wedding, so not much use to us.
Review 21:Lovely old B&B style of accommodation but far too pricey for the facilities on offer.
Review 22:I forgot that 'hotel' in Australia is is a pub. 5 rooms shared 2 bathrooms + toilets plus 1 toilet which was positioned at the end of the corridor. At first I did not like the idea of having to get out of the room to used the facilities but for one night it was ok.
Review 23:The building is vintage and refurbished up to modern standard. Our room is huge with high ceiling with a king size bed. And would easily fit another king size bed.
Review 24:Very noisy late at night with beer barrels being delivered and the early in the morning with cleaners with blower vacs outside at 5am.
Review 25:Staff were friendly and hotel was quaint.
Review 26:Breakfast prepaid at 25 when it's a cafe next door which is cheaper to buy on the day at ANY TIME you'd like. Shared bathrooms down hall
Review 27:Historic Building, Location
Review 28:Maybe a little noisy, but not from the hotel and not much they can do about a idiot screaming up and down the main street on a motor bike. Where are the police when you need them!
Review 29:Restaurant is awesome, some of the best food I have tried. Service "5 star". We are going back. Room was very comfortable and attractive.
Review 30:We would not usually choose accommodation with shared bathroom facilities, but it really worked quite ok and is in keeping with the age of the building.
Review 31:It was nice to stay in an old building that has been beautifully preserved. The restaurant is also doing a great job of showcasing local products.
Review 32:It was VERY noisy. There were earplugs left in the room, but they weren't enough to stop the noise which was from the outdoor area downstairs. I wouldn't stay here again.
