Review 1：No hairdryer. Shower a hand shower, there should be an attachment higher up, otherwise not a problem. More channels on TV.

Review 6：Warm welcome, very friendly. Staff were excellent. I was travelling alone s they let me eat in an ante room so I could watch the football on TV. (main seating over looks a river and was very popular). Food was really good, room swanky, internal cycle storage (just squeezed in) and a great location.

Review 7：Good location, quiet and pleasant. Adequate breakfast, with fresh products, natural orange juice, and scrambled eggs made on request, served with a remarkable view of the river and Marvão. The room was sufficiently spacious, comfortable, and tidy. Very helpful and amicable staff. Great restaurant, serving delightful regional dishes at a very reasonable price, alongside an extensive and outstanding wine selection, all right next to the river.

Review 9：As we were staying for 5 nights we found we were living out of our suitcase as there was no wardrobe or storage to speak of.

Review 11：It would be a good idea to find a way to secure the shower head above one's head instead of having it at waist height. Although apart from this the bathroom was fitted with new fittings and was very clean.

Review 16：Good location, adequate room although small and no wardrobe just hangers and shelves ok for an overnight stay. Bathroom very nice all new and beautifully designed. Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast good choice of cakes and bread, cereals, cheese and meat. Highly recommend the restaurant, tasty food, varied menu, good prices, a 10% discount for staying at hotel and good service.

Review 17：Though they were having a lift installed, it wasn't working when we were there. The view of the river from our bedroom was blocked by trees. We wanted an early getaway, but they were late with breakfast (8.15 instead of 8am) and it was pretty average.

Review 26：I think the employes could be more attentious and nice; the beds are small and it can be heard the noise from the others rooms (when it happens at 3 or 4 am, it's very annoying). In the room, there's a window that hasn't curtains and you can see all the light from outside.

Review 27：I think the location is very good, near the Sever river and beautiful surrondings with lots of trees and a complex with a swiming pool, a coffee and a restaurant. It's all very calm and appears to be carefully preserved. About the hotel, it has a very nice design, river view, and the restaurant it's wonderful: so much good options on the menu, including regional dishes, and the most service I ever experienced.

Review 29：The staff were friendly & extremely helpful, (especially the quick response to a fault in the TV) The room was clean and very comfortable, and we were very grateful for the much needed air-conditioning. We were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the area & the ambiance of the hotel. Being able to relax from the midday heat in the shady river beach area & having free access to the pool was an bonus. Enjoyed the delicious and well priced evening meals, served by a very competent waiter. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend the Sever Rio Hotel to our friends

Review 30：The transparent sliding door of the bathroom. Even if the glass is not trasparent, who stay on the bed sees everything. And if someone goes to the bathroom during the night, the light disturbs who is sleeping. Modern design not always practical: the hanger for clothes is too small, the place to put the suitcase completely unuseful (not high, just a piece of wood on the floor), the bathroom is big but not a shelf where to put stuff. We were in the last room and WIFI signal was insufficient. We had to stand close to the room door or in the corridor. There is no elevator. Luggage must be carried, but we were at the 1st floor.

Review 31：Everything is new and modern. TV has HDMI plug to connect laptops. Staff very friendly. Breakfast ok but maybe to have some more choice would be better. Good location to visit Marvao.

Review 37：The room was very attractive, spacious and comfortable and the staff -it's a family-run business - were extremely friendly and welcoming.We had dinner in the restaurant, which is superb: it offers excellentregional (Alentejo) cooking, including a wide range of game dishes.The location is excellent with the beautiful hill-town of Marvão nearby and (in summer) pleasant outdoor swimming facilities (river and pool) just outside the hotel. Both the room and the meal were excellent value for money.
