Review 1：Size of room and bathroom was very small. Little outside sitting area needed clean up. Furniture was on the cheap side.

Review 8：This was the nicest guest house we stayed in in Portugal. It was a really fine experience. Friendly staff; nice, clean comfortable rooms well-thought out for the traveler. Only a few minutes from the train station and the beach. A great family restaurant, Terra & Mare is a few steps away.

Review 9：Nothing to complain about only minor point on the breakfast would be that some vegetables or fruit being a regular staple would have been nice.

Review 10：Excellent service, clean facilities and just a stone's throw to both the Espinho beach and train station. The owner of the guest house literally bent over backwards to make our stay as good as possible: reserved tennis courts for us, patiently providing a tutorial on using the stove top and making sure we were happy throughout our stay.

Review 13：We advised, after an SMS enquiry, an arrival at about 16:00 but arrived an hour earlier and there was no one there to open the door. Other guests, a family, were also waiting on the sidewalk. The grillmaster from the adjacent Terra & Mare restaurant kindly phoned the owners for us and after about 20 minutes, someone showed up to let us in. Also, the Alameda does not take any credit cards, which in the modern world is an unfortunate limitation.

Review 14：The Alameda is one of the finest guest houses we have stayed in in Europe. The room was simple yet well furnished with great attention to detail. Nice towels, good TV and WI FI and very comfortable bed.The breakfast was superb with a Nespresso coffee machine, a variety of fresh breads, butter, homemade jam, fresh cheese & meat and a good (and real) juice

Review 30：The beds were too uncomfortable and the pillows were even worst. The breakfast was OK for a guesthouse but the products could be of of better quality. Considering the above and the fact that this is only a guesthouse, the price seemed too high.

Review 31：The place was cozy, the decoration was very original and it really looked like the owner payed attention to details. The staff was really nice and even let us to check out late. The location is great, since it is close to the train station and to the beach.

Review 32：Great guesthouse! Jummie breakfast, clean rooms, very nice owners, good service, nearby railway station and beach. Good for making trips to Porto, Aveiro and walkings on the beach. The hospitality is great and we would definitely recommend it!

Review 35：The friendly and helpful owners of this guest house gave us a very warm welcome and looked after us very well. They gave us information about the area, tickets for the trains to Porto, and a nice breakfast. This pretty guest house is so clean, it's spotless. Excellent value for money. Our very pleasant stay in Espinho was due largely to our hosts at the Alameda.
