Review 1：The lobby is modern, but the large apartment wasn't renovated since the 70s/80s...kind of brownish style and the bed was slightly moist.

Review 3：Just the weather. It was not very good, :(. Also, have in account that the water is pretty cold, around 17 ºC in August!

Review 5：The selection of the hotel in Espinho was mistake. The water in Ocean was icy, there was no chance to enter to the water. The place does not offer any reasonable attraction, apart from Casino, if you like gambling. We wanted to combine good beach holiday with chance to visit Porto and other places in the region, but this first option was practically not available due to weather conditions.

Review 7：The extra (child) bed was a normal sized bed. However, the matrass was a child sized matrass. Espinho is quite cold in comparison to Porto. In the evening the locals even wore winter coats (in August).

Review 8：Very, very spacious and modern apartment. The train station is very close by. Good and affordable train connection to Porto. The staff welcomed us with the brightest smiles and were happy to store our luggage after check out. We had a splendid view on the ocean from our apartment.

The sea view was excellent. kitchen was well provided with everything except kettle and washing machine. We always take our kettle so no problem for us. Mention washing machine lack of for other travellers. Private car park across from hotel was free. All in all hotel was great value for money. Espinho is a large Town lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel across from beach nice promenade across road Weather conditions prevented any excursions along it. 8.1 is in the right ball park I personally would go 8.5 but I am easily pleased. Didn't take breakfast option so no comment on that

Review 24：i have been here many times but the last time the beds were uncomfortable (hard), with not enough covers. The pillows were also uncomfortable.

Review 25：Nice location with nice restaurants (though be wary because some flashy restaurants are not good, I recommend restaurant called "Casa Abel" with very fresh food). Friendly staff, and the staff are very helpful.

The reception staff are the nicest I have ever come across, so friendly and obliging. Location of hotel is perfect and the view from our balcony was fantastic. Hope to return again next year.

Review 32：Wifi is limited although free of charge. The apartment needed a good refurb but in good, clean condition. A bit noisy in the plazuela due to concerts during saturdays. But everything went well during our stay.

They even have to print out our journey to other places we want to go. They even provided us our request of a sea view unit. the kitchen has everything you needed except for a kettle which brits use it most!but can ask for one and even hair dryer.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is quite varied and good. An excellent quality/price ratio for a beach holiday.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the beach bar was spot on with good cheap beer and decent live music. Italian pizza place a short walk down the beach front is worth a visit.
