Review 1：Fridge was covered with green mould everywhere so much so that we didn't use it. Breakfast was less than expected with only a small box of cereal provided in the room without choice.

Review 5：Room was bleak. No little extras as toilet paper,facewashers, enough coffee etc for my stay. Bed didn't look made properly. Even had to get check to see if it was clean before i could go up.

Review 9：Unfortunately the weather was not good and the ceiling in our room leaked. It was dripping onto the carpet which kept me awake. Room Number 4.
Review 10：Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Easy to head downstairs for a meal and a chat.

Review 17：The room was not serviced on the full day I was there. There were crumbs on the floor so it hadn't been vacuumed after the last guest. There was no screen on the window & since it was on the 1st floor this was very unsafe.

Review 19：First room right next to air conditioning units , no sleep that night and no one around until late morning the next day to change the room! Can understand if they were full but only 2-3 rooms were rented the whole time we were there. Replacement room was good. Didn't like being threated with a $600 fine if we didn't close the bathroom door when showering, however.

Review 23：Given a room key for a room that was occupied already by a scary big bikie guy. Given another room key and walked in to an unmade bed, a VB bar fridge and a wet towel and stank. Left immediately and didnt get an apology, staff seemed annoyed by us asking for a refund. Disgusting place and would never recommend it to anyone.

Review 30：Window of the room was next to the aircon plant on the rooftop so there was a constant loud humming. Requested another room, given key to a room already occupied. Requested and received refund and found more suitable accommodation elsewhere.
Review 31：Even tho the microwave caught alight the staff handed the emergency beautifully . We kept the fire to appliance but the entire hotel was evacuated prior to the fire brigade arriving.
Review 32：The complementary breakfast is small box's of cereal you can buy from coles I expect for $89 per night a better breakfast and more value. Also our room smelt of cigarette smoke. Also not all channels on TV work

Review 35：First room I was given the fridge had a bad "off fish" smell and was dirty. Second room I was given had all the air conditioning units outside by the window, very noisy. I asked for an iron on 3 occasions, never got one, cracked and missing tiles in the bathroom, paint peeling from the woodwork.
Review 36：Bed was comfortable. Café Primo next door was excellent, had a great meal.
Review 37：Hotel was adequate for our purposes, as we were only passing through. The hotel is really a local pub, but the food was excellant we both had steak and it was superb.
Review 38：whyalla is a very pleasant seaside town, even with a huge factory the beaches are fantastic
Review 39：Bed was uncomfortable, sheets and pillow cases were dirty. I had to ask the cleaning lady to change them. Someone had peed in the toilet and didn't flush. It took me about 10 mins with my deodorant can to get rid of the bad smell. The room rate included a continental breakfast, what a joke, it was two mini boxes of cornflakes with two bowls, no spoons or milk. This place should change it's name to Old Whyalla Hotel.

Review 41：Cant say had a bad experience but disappointed no TV in room and no spoons provided for supplied cereal we had to take turns eating with the 1 supplied teaspoon but this was duly noted and apologised upon our checking out
Review 42：The staff were very good they had a new computer system and my booking for a twin room had come through to them as a queen room on advising them that booking was for a twin room they obliged straight away beds were new and very comfortable towels were also very good
Review 43：accommodation booked was not supplied. walked into the room NO tv, cereal supplied for breaky but no bowls no spoons and no tea spoons for coffee.but the adjoining room next door was unoccupied so staff member said to use that room instead. its just the little things and attention to detail that makes a stay more pleasent
