Reviews for Inntel Hotels Art Eindhoven
Review 1:The facilities simply did not work. The car park was faulty, the shower was faulty, the phone was falty, the beds were bad.
Review 2:The food in the restaurant was fair
Review 3:Rooms (including suites) are NOT heated and those that are located on the 5th (Top) floor can get very cold at night during winter. The hotel offers small portable heaters to warm up rooms that can be as big as 50-60sq.m. (only if you ask). Be very careful as the hotel does not have enough heaters and they frequently run out of them without any other alternative solution. The loft suites are not available for booking through booking.com. If you call the hotel for an upgrade to a suite always ask for written confirmation via e-mail prior to visiting the hotel. Some of the staff although friendly do not give accurate Information.
Review 4:The building is indeed very impressive. The rooms are spacious and well maintained.
Review 5:The minibar prices are outrageous. Normally i use it quite a lot, but 4eu for a coke and 4eu for some pringles is overdoing it too much. Also, the parking is not included so that adds 15eu per day.
Review 6:very silent room (as requested), looks very new/clean and great bathroom.
Review 7:bathroom lighting a bit dim. shaving mirror angle difficult.
Review 8:great adaptation of an old factory. bed comfortable. old posters above doors. high ceilings great shower.
Review 9:Long walk to the room we were in. The elevator takes you to level three, then you walk for a couple of minutes, then you take another elevator to the upper levels, then you walk again to locate your room. Obviously this depends on what room you're staying in. Hotel parking was full so it was necessary to use the shopping centre parking across the street, which again is a small inconvenience, especially if you come with a lot of luggage.
Review 10:Generous room size. Location could hardly be better for accessing shops and the railway station. Eggs are prepared by the cook at breakfast. Breakfast is very good in general.
Review 11:Could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly. We had booked a 'surprise' stay, but never found the promised 'surprise' in our room... bit disappointing.
Review 12:Excellent location, large room with great view over the city! Nice breakfast.
Review 13:There is not enough parking on site; you have to get an exit ticket every time you leave, as opposed to one valid for 24 hours, and to open the gate upon leaving the garage you have to get out of the car as the card reader is wall mounted on the opposite side...
Review 14:Dirty fridge. Sockets could be better positioned near mirrors and more near beds. Lighting was poor especially for mirrors outside bathroom.
Review 15:Very comfortable large fluffy bed. Tea and coffee making facilities. Nice big shower.
Review 16:There was a mix up over how many rooms we had booked, staff not apologetic at all. Also paid for late check out the following day and the maids came knocking at both rooms in the morning waking everyone up.
Review 17:Lovely hotel, decorated beautifully and very good location, 10 min walk from train station
Review 18:Nothing major except the amount of effort required to get to the room {required 2 separate elevators for anyone who was staying above the third floor}. While this is itself isn't a huge issue, the fact that there are a large volume of rooms and only one elevator available, it could be problematic if there were a lot of people attempting to use them around the same time.
Review 19:Very comfortable apartments with all required amenities available in addition to its location right at the centre of Eindhoven.
Review 20:No milk sachets in the room
Review 21:Brilliant staff, we were made very welcome after a long driving journey by their barman Rik. I had beetroot risotto with wolffish that was just lovely. Was very impressed with their 31 gin cocktails, tried 4 off them and wished we had a longer stay to try more. Very close to the town, only downfall was lots of tourist attractions such as museums are not open on a Monday and shops don't open till noon. Other than that, I totally and utterly loved my stay here and would highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks for a great stay ?
Review 22:Bed, though large, was too soft. Pillows also too soft for our liking.
Review 23:Lovely room on 9th floor - spacious with lots of natural light. Great staff and location too.
Review 24:it is a bit difficult to find at first, because the house numbering on that road is confusing.
Review 25:excellent value for money in a great location with very friendly and helpful staff
Review 26:It was extremely warm in the rooms, there was a general heating system and because of this the temperature couldn't be adjusted:-(...
Review 27:Perfect location!
Review 28:Great hotel, rooms were really big and comfortable, mine had a really good view of the city too. Didn't really use any facilities other than the bar but was reasonably priced and staff were friendly too
Review 29:Location is second to none. Will most definitely be back to stay at the Inntel Arts. I myself work in the customer service industry and can I just say that the service we got from Paul on the reception desk was nothing less than exceptional. We arrived on the Friday and Paul was very helpful in giving us directions to a couple of places we wanted to go. On Sunday morning my friend needed to print off his boarding pass and was having trouble doing so. Paul went above and beyond in trying to help. Paul let my friend behind the counter to log into his emails to try and sort the problems. Paul is a credit to your business. The only way to describe it is that what he did for us was an example of perfect customer service. Thanks Paul for all your help.
Review 30:Only minor quibble - only one breakfast was included with a double room to both have one would have cost £17.50euro a day.
Review 31:Everything - wonderful hotel, lovely rooms, amazing shower, free wifi, cheap (for a hotel) bar. Smashing décor.
Review 32:Having such modern design for a sink meant nowhere to put soap - this should be altered. Also the clothes hanging facility was hopeless - too high and fairly inaccessible. And a couple of hooks near the door would have been great for outdoor coats. We went down to breakfast at 11 and the proper bread had run out - even though there was another hour for breakfast to run. Poor food management. We had paid for champagne and this was left for us to pour and not very cold.
Review 33:The decor was fabulous and our room was simply gorgeous - such innovative design and wonderful colour scheme. Extremely comfortable bed and fabulous bed linen. The curtains were excellent and cut out all light and the shower and jacuzzi were wonderful. Really loved it.
Review 34:Noise from the busy street. Young guys being load at the middle of the night at the street.
Review 35:Location is the best. Walk to the train station is like 5 minutes. Great big bath tub.
Review 36:lights are not sufficient, room is very dark No health club @ the hotel the construction site next to the hotel is very noisy
Review 37:Big room and very big bathroom. Breakfast is great. Perfect location very close to center and soccer stadium
Review 38:Food ordered room service. The salad was tired from his day not so fresh and quality of the food from what we had taken was industrial not home made!!!! The extra room charge to high compared in general with other hôtels.
Review 39:Location of the hotel
Review 40:We ran out of toilet paper, no restocking third day.
Review 41:Very nice hotel located partly in a repurposed Philips building. New equipment, well maintained. Beautiful architecture, located in Eindhoven city centre.
Review 42:The lighting in the room was very poor making it very difficult to see. I couldn't see myself in the mirror in the room. And I could not read in bed due to poor light.
Review 43:Central location
Review 44:There are two or three connected buildings and if you get a room in the new tall one, you need to wander through the corridors, take two different elevators to get to your room. Its a hassle. Also, there was zero art element in our room. And the cleaning lady didn't clean the room, instead she changed the door tag from "clean plz" to "do not disturb" :))
Review 45:Great location! Huge room (>25m2). Delicious gin-tonics at the bar.
Review 46:jacuzzi from the pictures which dosn't work. There is also not possibile to change the temperature inside the room. It was too hot
Review 47:big room and localisation
Review 48:This is a relatively new hotel. There was no power outlet at the deskonly one on the ground under the table-use that and you have no desklamp. To recharge my phone I found one near my bed behind a sofa - onplacing my hands on the arm of the sofa to pull it away a cloud of dustrose from the fabric. The closet is an "artsy" steel barsuspended by two chains from the ceiling at the end of the bed - noclosets. Eindhoven has a real poor selection of hotels - stay inAmsterdam and commute the 1hr 20mins each way on the efficient trains!
Review 49:I had booked for two days via booking.com. I did not know that there were different prices for different days. In addition, one rate included breakfast, the other one did not.
Review 50:The decoration of the room.
Review 51:I have stayed here a few times over the last 18 months. 1 time I made the mistake of booking an other hotel in Eindhoven and I regretted that the moment I walked into the hotel room. Since that time I always booked at the Inntel arts hotel.
Review 52:Worst part was the price of the breakfast €21 each is an extremely excessive cost for breakfast
Review 53:A very good hotel, very good location which close to the Phillips stadium if you wanted a tour of that, Close to a lot of lovely restaurants Every one was very accommodating and had a lovely decor with comfy beds
Review 54:The rude guest who thought it was OK to interrupt my check-out procedure. He just stood in front of me when I was in mid- sentence and demand that the lady stopped serving me and order him a taxi. Mindbogglingly rude.
Review 55:The Jacuzzi in my room. Awesome. I danced Tango all last week, and so I was really tired. It really brought the energy back to my legs.
Review 56:Where do I start ? . The hotel is sharp , beautiful , extremely comfortable hotel .it 's greatest asset are the womderful staff and mangement team for whom nothing is any trouble at all . My favourite Eindhoven hotel
Review 57:None
Review 58:- In the city Centre, railway station, bus stop 400 & 401 from the airport. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. - Free Wifi - Quick Check-in
Review 59:It is a large hotel and our room was a long way from the reception. We also had to wait for an hour for a twin room on arrival.
Review 60:Great location in city center and close to bus/train station.
Review 61:For the money I think that there should be gym and sauna facilities. Plus the food choices at breakfast were not great. But I am English ... we like a cooked breakfast!
Review 62:The hotel is very nice, clean and in a good location for walking into the town. Staff are friendly and attentive. The room was very comfortable clean . Wifi was free and good.
Review 63:Lighting of the room is terrible (sparse and terrible layout of light switches). Breakfast was simple. Parts of the furniture didn't keep up with the overall luxury feel of the room.
Review 64:Room was huge, jacuzzi great and location very well suited to do some shopping and go out for a nice dinner.
Review 65:The Hotel is pretty amazing, The room was amazing with High ceilings and a cool atmosphere, the staff are really helpful, the bar staff are so friendly and funny - Great time away, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
Review 66:Weird at c/out. I didn't have to wait long, he checked things, then asked to wait a bit while he helped other guest c/out. They were c/out directly. After about 6 guests I was called back, I have no idea what I was waiting for...
Review 67:The bedroom was big, and the bathroom & the bath were huge!
Review 68:we had a room in another building and had to change 2 elevators and take many turns just to reach the room; breakfast is very expensive so we didn't take it
Review 69:large rooms, cleanliness, great location in city center, coffee/tea in the room, shower separate from toilet, great bed
Review 70:A stunning building with very helpful and friendly staff. Close to the town centre and station but quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.
Review 71:They gave me a brochure at check-in with a list of restaurants and a map of Eindhoven. This looks like something out of the 1970's. Really does not do Eindhoven justice. Ended up in the Kazerne restaurant which was not listed.
Review 72:Large room with a commanding view of the courtyard right in the heart of Eindhoven. Room 414 had great curtains - hate sleeping with light leaking in from outside. They gave me a little gift at reception - which turned out to a suitcase weighing scale. Useful idea. Buffet style breakfast was included - excellent range. My room was very quiet despite the partying that was happening a few streets further away. Have stayed in several other hotels - but this was the best discovery so far.
Review 73:rainshower difficult to handle, impossible to use room was much to warm with the dawn duvets, easy tot control temperature staff acted well but purely business, not personal or friendly
Review 74:large room, very comfortable beds, very nice and complete bathroom, seperate toilet
Review 75:- Wi-fi not good in all areas of the structure.
Review 76:- In the center of Eindhoven, very easy to reach from train station (5 minute walk). - Staff very kind and helpful - Very good breakfast , with big variety and fresh products.
Review 77:Shower drain clogged, water all over the place. No thermostatic faucets in combination with very hot water made it difficult to maintain a bearable water temp in the shower. Could be dangerous for children: scalding is a serious risk.
Review 78:Perfect location and nice hotel
Review 79:I had quite dark room, walls are painted in black. After week long stay in the hotel I could have seen a lot of dust on the furniture.
Review 80:Hotel is located in the city center, good breakfast
Review 81:Single bed in our triple room was only a camp bed and very uncomfortable and sqeaky. There was no bath, only a shower.
Review 82:Excellent location in the middle of the city centre. Very spacious room with effective insulation from traffic noise.
Review 83:Breakfast is expensive at €21 per person.BOOKING.COM website indicates that Extra beds are free of charge to under 12s but on arrival we were informed that extra beds cost €40 per night.
Review 84:The hotel has beautiful and interesting design. Staff are efficient andwelcoming. The hotel is very well located close to Central Station , theshopping districts , Cathedral and museums. The art exhibition by the hotel lobby also added great interest.
Review 85:Room was not at all like any of the pictures on their site (classic trick), but even without having that info: it was waaay to dark (purple walls, drapes etc), it was not cleaned well enough, dust everywhere and it smelled like it had not smelled fresh air for a few weeks.
Review 86:Friendly bar-staff, semi-friendly reception staff.
Review 87:Brilliant place to stay-we go to a festival in Eindhoven every year, and 'always' stay here-excellent value for money-we are just a group of young men,so normally aslong as it has a bed, shower, toilet we'll stay, but t his place is somewere you could take your family or girlfriend, top class 10/10
Review 88:When I ordered a triple room I had a double bed and a sofa bed which was very uncomfortable. In the evening the wifi was very slow practically useless. The toilet was in a separate room from the bathroom and if was far.
Review 89:The decor and location. Nice bathroom.
Review 90:Location of the hotel is convenient, close to train station, core downtown but far enough to escape the noise of both. The hotel room has high ceiling with a modern touch and biggest bath tub I've seen. It is very clean and had all you need on your travel, even bathrobe and sleepers. Overall we were nicely surprised by the hotel as well as the city and would definitely come back.
Review 91:construction works on the road and around the building GPS therefore goes nuts, Eindhoven is a one way city set-up
Review 92:nice hotel, former bulb factory of Philips
Review 93:We were 4 dudes and the hotel could not only arrange for 2 double beds which we had to share unfortunately
Review 94:Fantastic stay. Got upgraded to suite with Jacuzzi- which was very appreciated since we were in Eindhoven for Dominator Hardcore festival. I have already booked in this hotel for next year's edition!
Review 95:We were charged and paid for 3 bed room although we had actually 2 bed room for our kids! We came late and we had flooding in our other room so when that was fixed it was already half past midnight. Kids were already very tired and felt asleep when we were offered to move them to another room. And that was not acceptable! No place at hotel parking, public parking closes at 23h so it is a problem to park if You are late!
Review 96:Location right next to Psv football ground and very close to city centre and all the shops, bars and restaurants and free parking for my motorbike ... had a small problem with the previous clients leaving something in the room when we told reception they quickly got the management who apologised and scrubbed some drinks off our bar bill so good customer service too
Review 97:The breakfast was a little average but still nice. It wasn't worth the 20 euros
Review 98:The room had a hot tub and was a great design. Also the bed was perfect and was hard to get out of because it was so comfortable.
Review 99:No menus for restaurant! Asked for one, apparently the menu was taken toa room by a customer and they never saw it again. I had a meat feastpizza for 11 euros, worst pizza ever.
Review 100:Lovely hotel, was impressed as soon as I walked in.
Review 101:Rooms (level 5) can be noisy due to the way the rooms are designed and located. Because the hotel is (partly) based in an apartment building, we could hear music until 3am. But this is something the hotel cannot prevent and probably happened due to an annual Music Festival in Eindhoven.
Review 102:Perfect designed hotel and great to stay. Staff is very helpful and hotel is located in the centre of Eindhoven. Must to stay when visiting the Eindhoven area.
Review 103:The neccessity to activate lift with a roomcard may be troublesome to new visitors.
Review 104:We had a very comfortable room with amazingly big bed. The room had a very interesting industrial design and served its purposes very well. It was clean, modern and well equiped.
Review 105:Construction at the back of the hotel and had to ask for a room on the other side. Can't they just allocate the better rooms on a first come basis.
Review 106:Great location ,comfortable room and fun spa bath. Great place to stay when in Eindhoven.
Review 107:Nothing! Everything is fine.
Review 108:I was here for one night because I missed my plane in Schipol and I went to Eindhoven for another flight. This hotel was a real surprise! Centrally located, in the premises of former Philips factory, offered an excellent quality and hospitality. very nice staff. Interesting and artistic design with a lot of facts about Philips. I reccomend this hotel to everyone.
Review 109:The hotel is great, comfortable and in an excellent location. The staff were superb, with special thanks to Rik, the evening bar tender who was brilliant. We were a group of blokes on a stag do and he was incredibly helpful and considerate to the stag who was, very drunk. Thank you Rik.
Review 110:We stayed in a spacious room with a king size bed and a bubble bath. Much to my dismay, the floor was cold and not carpeted, basic amenities such as towels were even missing at times. The staff were all gloomy and non-cooperative. The breakfast was with an exteremly limited selection. The only thing that was high in this hotel was the price.
Review 111:The location!
Review 112:nothing really, just a small remark: no place to leave the large breakfast trays and no airco.
Review 113:Free upgrade from hot tub room to an even more luxury Jacuzzi room! Fantastic room, with great bed, nice sitting area, great rain shower and Jacuzzi with a view. If you doubt with booking ask for room 533 and you'll have the time of your live. Restaurant was good but not outstanding. Staff was superb; helpful and very correct. Parking underneath the hotel is not that expensive and advisable. We had the champagne (with was actually cava, but who cares) breakfast served to our room: just great; wide choice, wide variety. Hotel location is next to shopping area and walking distance from nice pubs. Hotel rooms are in a characteristic old building. Value for money. Just great
Review 114:Small room. Not the best neighbourhood (good enough to just hop on the metro and get around all day returning there only to sleep. Didn't feel unsafe though). No air-conditioning and the street too noisy to sleep with window open (if it's hot, ask for a room in an upper floor).
Review 115:Amazing stuff (friendly, helpful, kind). Good value for money. Close to metro. In the North, thus good if you come from Belgium. Very good breakfast.
Review 116:Very very noisy. Demolition work going on to the rear of the building which started before 7am each morning. Hotel was full so just had to put up with it. Staff weren't helpful or apologetic.
Review 117:Good location
Review 118:We never made it to the hotel due to a medical circumstance. Very sorry that we couldn't postpone our trip to another date... I would have expected the hotel to accept this, we announced it five days in advance.
Review 119:Onze kamer had schimmel.
Review 120:De medewerkers waren bijzonder gastvrij. De locatie van het hotel is goed. Het hotel en de kamers zijn apart ingericht. De badkamer was comfortabel en groot. De slaapkamer was ruim.
Review 121:The lighting in the bathroom (especially above the mirror) is too dim. Water provided in room is expensive at 4.95 Euro and can be purchased a lot cheaper at nearby supermarket.
Review 122:The hotel is very conveniently located just off main square and not far from bus/railway station. We upgraded our room to one of the rooms in the old Phillips factory and had a lovely spacious room with high ceilings, industrial styling, a balcony and a huge bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the area was quiet at night. We hired bikes at reception and enjoyed cycling around Eindhoven. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Review 123:Air conditioner was weak. Could not cool room below 21* even with chilly nighttime outside temperatures.
Review 124:Very nice hotel. Large rooms, large bathroom and a lot of space (even by American standards). Very quiet for being right in the heart of Eindhoven..
Review 125:Room was a bit soulless and feeling of being unfinished. Could hear upstairs neighbours and people in corridor outside. Bathrobes would have been nice. Got woken up in the morning with sirens and told to evacuate. Turned out to be a false alarm - but no one even apologised for the inconvenience. Shower was powerful but too low. Oh, and an extractor fan in the WC would have been good!
Review 126:Everything's brand new and spotlessly clean. Some nice design touches but also some design fails.
Review 127:Staff could be more helpful. Couldn't find our booking initially Very Noisy hotel due to the layout of the rooms in the building. very slow service at the bar
Review 128:Fantastic Location and very modern hotel in the centre of Eindhoven. Hot tub room definitely worth the extra money Super comfy sleep on a huge bed Very reasonable prices in the restaurant! Fantastic selection of gins! Lovely Shower
Review 129:I have been coming here already for years, since it is a Intell hotel, they charge more for things. That has negatively impacted the relationship between price and quality, which you should be outstanding and is now ok.
Review 130:The design of the rooms and corridors is horrible and depressive but worse is the place is dirty and badly maintained. Our room (suit 333) even had green fungus on the walls and burn wholes in the curtains.
Review 131:lobby and reception are nice, clean and inviting.
Review 132:We booked a group of 13 people, half the group had no problem, but the other half had some VERY annoying problems checking in, granted english was not the receptionists first language but we made it very clear what we had booked, but even after 4 attempts to get it wrong we were given the wrong rooms, with some of the group paying more for their rooms and some paying less for theirs, we managed to sort this problem out amongst ourselves after we left the reception, but further to this the next morning some of our group got breakfast and some did not, one of our friends had to go have a shower and have someone else in the group half her croissant, within a few minuets a member if staff stopped our friend and told her she had to pay for the croissant, even though she explained it was paid for already they forced her into paying and made her feel like absolute muck! It's just an absolute shame the staff have let the hotel down in a very disappointing way.
Review 133:We booked a jacuzzi room, it was beautifully decorated, very clean
Review 134:Don't expect anything from the frontdesk.. Not helpfull in discussing parking possibilities, or informing you with room info. The hotel can be a maze with different elevators to different parts of the hotel, front desk staff should be more helpfull in this so you don't search for you room for more then 15 min and end up frustrated at your room.. There are no direction signs in the hall ways..why not??!!...also there is a huge difference in design, size and comfort between rooms. A standard room with the same rate ended up for my friends having a tiny, dark well designed room. And us in a huge light room but by no means design interior.. Our beds were run down (room 559) with a big dent in the middle making us wake up with back aches. So if you are hoping for a certain type if room make sure to get your info in advance.
Review 135:Location in the middle of the city is nice
