Review 2：Good location，very near to the entrance. It is convenient for you to go to the supermarket. Many restaurant is around the hotel.

Review 5：The Check In time is late and the Check Out time is quite early. We arrived at 12pm and are told that the room would not be ready until 3pm. But we are supposed to leave before 11am the other day. What make it took so long to clean a room! The room is small. Put luggage on the floor and there would be no room left for you to walk

Review 10：Location is perfect, next to free parking and supermarket, very close to bus stop and boat rental shops. A 5 min walk along a canal into the village. Elina is particularly warm and considerate.
Review 11：The reception is off after 6pm, so when I ask for the help from hotel restaurant staff to borrow the hair dryer. Then she forgot to put on the front desk before they leave, I waited for 1 hr .....

Review 15：The bathroom was extremly old fashion and really needs to be renovated!! Looked like it was from the 70ties and in a bad condition. We were there for one night only and arrived in late afternoon, planning to take a boattrip in the evening since we were leaving early the next day. When asked, the staff told us it wasn´t possible and tried to persuade us to do it the next day. We then went for a walk and saw a lot of other people on the canal... Ended up with us renting a boat from another company. Probably the hotel didn´t want to tell us to use other companies- even though the only reason for us staying in Giethoorn in the first place was to see the canals!!! So poor service! We had our child with us but the bed had only two pillows.
Review 16：Room is small and a bit old. Poor sound proof. When our neighbors tried to open their doors, we felt they were trying to open our door. We happened to stay next to two naughty boys. We could hear them playing around in the next rooms and couldn't sleep well at all.

Review 20：We went on the hotels own boat for a 'guided tour' of the beautiful canals. However I dont know where they found this guy. We boarded the boat and he didn t even say hello. He was too busy chatting to the 2 dutch couples sat at the front of the boat. This continued for the whole tour. Not once did he try to communicate with anyone else on board for the entire trip. He didn t even acknowledge us as we disembarked. We found this really rude and offensive. We should have gone to one of the many other boats who did give a tour with english. However the tour was stunning. Just a pity we didn t learn anything about it. Unfortunately this has to impact on the staff review as he was part of the staff.
Review 21：The hotel was really nice and the staff where welcoming and friendly. The room was ok. Spa bath was very welcome after long journey. Continental breakfast was nice. Everwhere very clean.

Review 23：A nice hotel with a great location. The most unforgettable thing is that the very friendly grandfather working there drove us to the train station coz we missed our bus. He really helped us a lot. I will choose this hotel again when I travel to there next time. Hope the nice grandfather happy every day.

Review 27：Other customers stay in this hotel talk aloud in lobby and make a lot of noise at around 11 p.m., I can't sleep well!! The breakfast is very simple. There is no one can help you keep luggage when you check out and you just want to take a walk nearby.
Review 28：Receptionist is very nice. Very close to bus stop and supermarket, within 5 minutes by walk. A river just at right side. People live nearby are very nice and hospitable. Scenery here is very beautiful, and always feel peaceful.
Review 29：We arrive before check in an ask to leave our suitcase at the reception, but the girl at the reception said that the hotel is not opened yet and we cannot leave it there. After 1 hour we came back and saw a man who was that kind to leave our luggage at the reception, because there were two more hours before check in.

Review 33：Limited options for the breakfast (the coffee was not good) Quite careless staff - the check in took a while since the personnel was more focused on having their own lunch than to take care of the tourists to check in. The room was very dusty, right after the moment we checked in. Next day, housekeeping came, I asked to come back later and nobody showed up. Very small rooms - I haven't seen the added value of having a private terrace (which is not private at all).
