Review 1：Owners and staff were really friendly, helpful and caring. Located in a very nice place, easy to reach. We had a room with veranda which had a nice view. Short walk to beautiful places of Giethoorn. Value for what we paid. Food was delicious.

Review 6：Very friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We rented a boat to visit Giethoorn and it was ready for us when we finished breakfast. Which by the way was very good.

Review 10：The hotel run by family husband and wife the husbend called youn was great person inviting and warming person like it should be unlike the wife call katinka just the opposite angry face not friendly for example my wife asked her for a paper cup she make her a face like she ask her for a diamond until her husband put her on her place and give us its a shame she spoiled it for all the hotel look like she think that she paid for us this is how you dont run a hotel other than that the other stuff was great the waiters edwin and huny exelent and again the owner yuon was exelent its a shame that the wife spoiled evry thing Not friendly not say hallo

Review 13：Harmonie is a great option if you want to visit Giethoorn. You can park your car at the hotel almost at the beginning of the 'village' and walk all the way to the end. Please note that you cannot drive your car through the village. You have to either walk or ride a bike in the main narrow pathway. It is a delightful place to spend a weekend. Don't miss the late afternoon cruise offered by the hotel (7 Euros per person). Jan is very knowledgeable and offers excellent insights about Giethoorn, its history and citizens.

Review 14：العائله الي تدير الفندق كانو يعاملون الضيوف بطريقه غير لائقه جلست على طاوله ماعليها حجز و جت مديره الفندق و وقالت لنا انها مو للفطور و لما غيرنا الطاوله بدت تتكلم بالهولندي بعصبيه !!! و البنت الي بالمطعم صارخت على اماراتيين بدون سبب مقنع بس لانهم اثثنين و جالسين على طاوله لاربع اشخاص !! But the staff members were kinda aggressive and rude and they make you feel unwelcomed. We set on a table for breakfast and one of the owners came and told me it's not allowed to set her choose another table so I said okay.. Suddenly she was shouting in Dutch. Isaw another girl that was working there she was shouting on other guests!!! The place is good for a night in Giethoorn but I think they don't like to have non European guests.

Review 19：We made a quick one night trip to Giethoorn and were very lucky to find this hotel our booking was half board (breakfast & dinner). The owners are very nice and friendly people and made us feel right at home. All the staff we interacted with was excellent. The whole place was extremely clean and we'll maintained. The room was very good. The beds very comfortable, window had screens so you could sleep with a window open. Breakfast was a buffet and all the food was really good and the capacinno was excellent. Dinner was a four course meal . The food and presentation was good, and staff were wonderful. The evening cruise along the canals was great. The owner narrated the tour in Dutch and translated to English as well. He was very knowledgeable and we learned alot about the history. We had a great time and will go back.

Review 21：From the beginning to the end of our stay, the staff were very nice to us and made us fell very welcome. The bedroom and bathroom where very clean. The breakfast was very nice and the dinner was also nice. They also run a night boat tour which covers everything around the hotel and is also very informative. They also run boat and bicycle hire. The hotel owners also take the time to give us directions on where to go on our bicycle ride. I would definitely visit this hotel again.

Review 26：Friendly and helpful staff. Great room and view. The breakfast and evening meal were superb. There is a bus-stop out side the hotel with an hourly bus to Steenwijk or the centre of Giethorn. The last busses are around 18.30 in the evening. Boat and bicycle available.

Review 30：The room was quiet and comfortable and the manager/owner was really helpful - providing maps, cycle routes and boat hire to help us the get the most out of visiting this beautiful, historic town. We ate evening meals in the hotel (unusual for us) and the food was excellent and value for money especially the 3 course menu deal. All staff were friendly and spoke English to put us to shame. There was no kettle in the room nor any little pots of shampoo etc - we had our own but be forewarned if you are travelling light.

Review 103：From the first moment the staff was very kind. We got to the hotel and the owner welcome us, he was very kind and was very petient to explain about the town and what to do. The hotel have different types of rooms and we rented the cheapest one but for our surprise they upgrade us without charge and got a room with a balcony to the canal that was perfect. We rented a boat in the hotel to do a trip around the canals and the town from the hotel, the price was 15 euro an hour that was very fair and not much different that any other places. I saw that you can rent in the town for 12 euros and the hole day for 70, I'm strongly recommend to do that. That same day we eat at the hotel restaurant something call high te (I'm not sure about the name) it a plate for two persons with small snaks and cakes, it also includes coffe or tea, it was amazing until now I have fantasies about it.

Review 117：Loved the owners passion for Giethoorn, and the fun way he explained what there was to see. The 'Whisper boat' we hired was great, and the nature beautiful. The hotel staff were all really helpful and friendly. All four of us enjoyed our stay, the food was great. They even prepared a delicious 3 course vegan meal for my wife and I.
