Reviews for Åmåsängsgården

Review 1:The satnav will send you down a forestry road, take the next left after it tells you to once you've left Mora.

Review 2:Amazing location on the lake. If the weather is nice then buy charcoal and bbq food to have on the beach of the lake - don't go to the onsite bbq areas.

Review 3:We were confused that we did not understand from booking.com that we needed to bring sheets and towels. We felt stupid to come back to the office to rent sheets and towels. However, the staff was great about it.

Review 4:We liked the 'cabin' and the facility it offered. In particular that it offered a toilet. Beds were comfy and kitchen, equipment as well as furnitures were very good.

Review 5:it was disappointing that there was no other people there at all and it felt like it was empty and we were actually ther when the place was shut down.the Resturant was closed and we had to eat out . It would have been nice to just walk there for dinner and have some use of the relax room, and other areas for the young adults to do something. this isn't good for guests in winter and we felt like we did not have full use of the place as was suggested. We would come back in summer.

Review 6:The cottage was nice and clean and comfortable. the cottage was authentic swedish which is nice for us Australian travellers. The area is beautiful and the person who met us very helpful.

Review 7:- Lacking information regarding what you need to bring along. The cabins does not have _anything_ in them except furniture, a few appliances and basic kitchenware. No shower, no cleaning utilities, no broom, nothing. Not even toilet paper(!), which was a bit of a surprise to the first person who used the bathroom... - The restaurant has a poor selection and serves mainly reheated or store bought food (cheap supermarket stuff). Convenient if you don't want to cook, but very overpriced. The smoked salmon with potato gratin is the only thing I would recommend. We couldn't try the pizza since they were delivered from a pizzeria in Mora and didn't arrive until after 8 pm. The cheerful staff did make every meal a good occasion anyway :).

Review 8:+ The location is perfect if you like swimming and relaxing. 150-200 meters to a really good, sandy beach. Deep enough for grown ups to swim in, but shallow enough for kiddies close to the beach. + Almost no mosquitos! A bit of a (happy) surpise, since there usually is a lot of them in rural Sweden. + The staff was really helpful and nice. + Close proximity to Mora, easy to find despite the fact that it is located "out in the woods".

Review 9:They charge for everything. Extra for a sauna Jacuzzi didn't work. Beds very uncomfortable Did like the access to the beach and swimming otherwise I would pick another location next time we go to mora

Review 10:Beach was nice Pretty setting. For mora price was lower but you get what you pay for

Review 11:We were travelling from Australia. If you stay here you need to be awarethat you need to bring linen (or rent some). Also the little cabins havecooking facilities which is great. Also you are responsible for thefinal clean. However there are no cleaning products or toilet paperprovided. This is ok however if we had known this we would have comeprepared or chosen another place to stay.

Review 12:Location in a lovely part of Sweden. Situated right on the banks of LakeSiljan. Full of Swedish families and couples on summer vacation.

Review 13:Lack of light in the cottage, no possibility to use the sofa at night to read or to play cards .

Review 14:Tumble dryer not working Accommodation quite cramped

Review 15:Peaceful location

Review 16:Mycket servicevänlig personal. Charmiga stugor. Fin strand.

Review 17:Wi fi was not working in the cottage. We had to come to the reception area to check emails. Expensive to rent the linen.

Review 18:Great location just outside Mora town but not very far. We loved the cottage and would have wanted to spend more time. Well equipped kitchen, friendly staff. Overall a very positive experience.

Review 19:We had no idea based on our booking information that we were suppose to provide our own sheets for the cabin- the pictures appeared with full bedding. We ended up having to rent sheets which was fine but added an additional $60 to the cost that we did not expect.

Review 20:the staff and facilities were beautiful. The cabin was cozy and very clean.

Review 21:Christine our host was so wonderful to be around. She fixed us some nice meals with a romantice setting for our evening meals. She was so friendly and warm that we felt a family feeling.

Review 22:No showers in the room. Room is too small.

Review 23:Clean. Great location.

Review 24:Considerate staff, clean, well equipped, quiet location
