Review 1：The shower gel was empty and there wasn't any shampoo available. Most importantly,we were given a twin room on arrival instead of a double and were told that we didn't specify it on our booking.We obviously did when we booked through this website by our selection ''double room''. It seemed that many couples faced the same issue.Our room was luckily changed.The gentleman in the reception was very kind and helpful though.Looks like they try to give the twin rooms away for some reason although you can't put them together...

Review 15：The hotel is located in a residential area where there are a number of bars. From our room we could hear men in the bar at all hours of the night, dogs barking and traffic. We were on the third floor and had to drag our luggage up and down since there is no elevator. The pool is small and tucked between buildings. Compared to our 4-star accommodations in Funchal, this 3-star hotel was twice the cost and very lacking in terms of the location, comfort and overall accommodations. If you must go to Porto Santo, stay down the street a bit at the resort.

Review 18：The hotel location is perfect, very central. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. I really appreciate to have access to a private shower after our check-out so that we could have a nice shower before going back in the ferry to Madeira.
Review 19：The hotel is very very basic, like a youth hostel. No charm at all.Small sheets covering small beds in small rooms. No elevator. Breakfastalso very basic. It doesn’t deserve 3*. One at the most. Price is veryhigh in comparison with another hotels (I paid 70 euros/day individualuse). I was in a fabulous 4* hotel in Funchal for even less money thanthat. I was also in a another 3* at the Porto Santo beach which wasvery very nice for the same price. The owners are making big money withthis hotel.
Review 20：I didn’t like the hotel. The only savable thing was the personnel,especially the lady in the evening. It is well located in the village,not very close to the nicest part of the wonderful Porto Santo beach.
