Alpen Wellness Resort Hochfirst is a 5-star hotel, offering a 1500 m² spa area with a Finnish sauna, a 220 m² indoor and outdoor pool, 2 hot tubs, a steam bath, bio sauna, an aroma steam bath, infrared cabin and relaxation rooms. A ski lift is next to the hotel, which provides direct access to the Obergurgl - Hochgurgl ski region. Ski passes can be bought on site.
All luxurious rooms at the Hochfirst have high-quality features. Furthermore, most of the rooms have a balcony with impressive mountain views. Half-board is available to all guests and comprises of a breakfast buffet and dinner.
A wine tasting is offered in the well-stocked wine cellar once a week. The Hochfirst Lounge offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Review 1：Could benefit from some lockers in the boot room ?

Review 2：Location, facilities, food, staff, service friendliness & quality. We had a fabulous holiday & are planning to go back next year .

Review 3：Nothing to complain about. Sometimes staff in dining room were pushed a bit hard, but that may have been because of some other guests - on such occasions get them to leave the wine bottle with you!

Review 4：Welcome was excellent and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Facilities were great but it still seemed homely. Good value for a higher end hotel.

Review 9：Owners not personable or friendly. Bar area was often smokey. No in-room tea or coffee facilities. Would have liked mineral water and fresh fruit in the room each day. Couldn't use any of the spa steam rooms unless naked !!

Review 10：Swimming pool (including outdoor), jacuzzi, sauna, and spa relaxation rooms. Breakfast selection and quality. Six course dinners - variety and quality. Lovely room with piste views and great shower. Waiting and reception staff - helpful and friendly. Clean and modern decor. Modern facilities. Right next to ski school and drag lift. Nice friendly welcome upon arrival which included a glass of fizz.

Review 11：the rooms were too hot and the duvets way too warm. Despite switching off the radiators and opening the windows we were too hot at night.

Review 12：Luxurious hotel. Great pool and sauna facilities. The quality of the food is very high and there is plenty of choice. Great service for ski rental as they deliver it all to the hotel. Ski-in-ski-out as advertised but be sure to get to the button lift before the skischool does.

Review 15：Amazing hotel, great pool area, food was fabulous, large spacious rooms - loved everything (except the smoking in the bar, but understand that is still ok here just not used to it at all - ideally there would be a glassed off section for the smokers)

Review 16：The shower in my room was in a bath, low down and under powered, so I used the ones in the wellness centre. A smoking ban would be good but it wasn't too bad and only in the bar.

Review 17：Lovely hotel, great dinners of many courses and beautiful and tasty food. The wellness centre was great to have after skiing with indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzi greatly used. Standard rooms haven't been refurbished but I liked the old wooden style myself.

Review 18：the price of the wine in the restaurant. It is outrageous. For a very modest wine 55 euros is way over the top. We were unable to enjoy a glass of wine each night as is was too expensive.
