Review 1：The hotel is hard to find, hidden behind the shops. The directions given are not helpful.

Review 3：the owner phoned the turtle sanctuary for us so we could book our place - it was very kind and also necessary as there were a lot of people there. It helped us a great deal.

Review 5：We liked the location, because we were able to walk to shops, the Corniche and restaurants. For a 1 star hotel there was excellent room service. We were very pleased with the one day trip the hotel offers. Our driver (hotel manager) was very friendly, knowledgable and competent. The price was reasonable.

Review 6：We left for some outing for 4 - 6 hours, while I myself turned off allthe lights and ac of our room, when we returned, ac and lights werepowered on. Someone entered the room in our absence (no room service wasdone), but all our belongings were safe. Washroom is too small.

Review 8：Hotel is located in the central area of the city, next to several cafes, shops and restaurants. Relatively close to the beach. Rooms are new and clean. Stuff is friendly. From this hotel there is easy access to all Sur attractions.

Review 11：The room is basic and strange design. I stubbed my toe on the door stop in the middle of the floor, and the door to bathroom is not for tall people.

Review 13：The staff here were very friendly. There is free parking outside and there are signposts for the hotel from the main road. This is a budget hotel and great if you just want a place to sleep.

Review 16：The room didn't have a net on the windows and our kids got a fair amount of mosquito bites. We stayed only for a night and didn't bother, but if you let the staff know, they might do something for you as they were generally helpful. The information of turtle watching they gave was wrong, though it might not be their fault. The turtle reservation accepts booking only in certain hours (in our case from 19:00-20:30; they weren't open when we arrived at Sur at 16:00), and they have watching sessions at 20:30 and 04:30, though the front desk of the hotel said it was going to be 03:30, so we (including kids) had to wait for an extra hour. It looks like the most people who watch turtles stay at the reservation's own hotel, so the reservation perhaps doesn't try to distribute the detailed info, or it might change depending on timing, I don't know.

Review 17：Staff were responsive and helpful with making a reservation for turtle watching and other things. The location is good -- close to restaurants, a maze-like commercial area, and the beach. The facilities are dated, no curtain for a shower (which seems to be typical for cheap hotels in Oman), but it was alright for the price.
