Review 1：Nothing to dislike.... Oops forgot to mention the pool having renovation work when we stayed. That was disappointing.

Review 7：The hotel (especially bathrooms, and definitely corridors) are similarto those at Moscow Olympic Games, yes, in Moscow, and yes, in 1980. Thehighway right in front of the room windows is very noisy. The pool wasclosed. The staff does not care. The hotel is just too big for any touchof humanity, so just in case you need to accommodate ten football teamsit might be the right place for you. And the prices are almost as big asthe hotel; one can get comparable service in Eindhoven city centre forhalf the price.

Review 13：The exterior is renovated but the rooms are old and noisy. After a strange check in we got room 129 next to the hotels air conditioning. Solution of the person at the reception was to use ear plugs... The noise could not be covered with this. The only other room was next to the parking lot. So we moved to room 91. Well this room was still with the interior of the '80 but quiet compared to the other. During the night we noticed the noises from the neighbours, flushing toilets and footsteps noises. There are no secrets as you hear almost everything... Next to that we realized in the early morning the hotel is situated next to a hockey field. You can hear all of it with the windows closed.

We could hear people going in and out of the hotel. And taxi's parking outside the room and keeping their engine running.

Review 21：Helpfull, english-speaking staff. Convinient location - just off N2 Eindhoven ring road with easy access off A2/E34 motorway (yet very quiet). Lots of parking space. Great range of facilities - a casino, swimming pool, gym, bicycle hire, all day main restaurant, sushi restaurant with all day bar. Spacious room with lots of storage space and a balcony. Bathroom with a shower and a seperate bathtub.

Review 28：My experience was such that I will not return to this hotel. First the hotel was trying to cancel my reservation during the evening of arrival since they took the informative arrival time I indicated under booking.com as a guarantee from my arrival time. What a bad trick. Then the room I got did not really feel as the more expensive room class that I reserved. It was also on a low floor ignoring my request. Calling from my room the reception never answered the phone so that I had to call with the phone from external to the hotel at my extra charge. Then the room was freezing cold and no chance to heat. Reception said you cannot switch it on. It is still on summer. Poorest price performance ratio over the last 5 years to a frequent traveler. I will never return. No need to try. Good bye.

Review 38：The center of the city is a bit far, but you can get there by bus or by bicycle : there's a park inbetween and the landscapes are beautiful. Just rent a bike at the hotel ! The staff is nice, the room is great. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower, great too !

Review 39：The noise from the motorway is really bad, even through closed balcony door. I was in toom 296 which is at the very back of the hotel in two storey building, so the top floor. The temperature in the room was about 32C. Very uncomfortable, coupled with closed balcony doors for noise reasons. I could not sleep properly.

Review 41：If you miss the entrance coming from town the next slip road doesn't gain you access, it puts you on a highway and takes 8-10 minutes to loop back. The entrance/intersection could be more clearly marked and they should provide a GPS address to lock in on that spot, not the building. The building is a multiplex and the front entrance is not the hotel.

Review 49：There is a fountain in front of the hotel, and the water in it is disgusting, a bunch of foamy algae. The coffee-to-go in the lobby is a good idea but it is not well refilled, every time we walked in and out coffee was not available. The jacuzzi in our suite was very small, just for one person. The shower-head was extremely disappointing and the water pressure too low. We asked for bathrobes but we were assured that that Van der Valk chain does not use them. Unfortunately we know it was not right. The Van der Valk hotel in Hoorn, for example, has really nice bathrobes. The swimming pool changing rooms are smelly, and the corridor that leads to the swimming pool is very cold. At the swimming pool is not allowed to kiss in public, ridiculous considered the open-minded reputation of the Dutch.

Review 50：The hotel is well located, has lots of facilities including a casino, a buffet and a la carte restaurants, and a sushi bar. The sushi is great. The breakfast buffet very varied and good quality. The suites and most of the rooms have balconies. In the suite the free coffee and tea facilities are very well stocked. The bed was great, very comfortable. We loved the chocolate fountain at the lunch buffet. Also the free cava during the lunch is very nice.

Review 103：The restaurant facilities are spacious and comfortable. The food served is very good. We had a la carte only, because of a function at this evening in the buffet section. The buffet looked very good and opulent but, as I said above: We didn't have the chance to try it. Next time, hopefully.

Review 104：We had one night booked at this hotel. Unfortunately we had to stay at another hotel for that night. When returning one hour late for check out, we had to pay a "tax" of 50 Euro to get our luggage. I think the lady at reception could have handled this differently, not giving me lectures on late check outs..not 10 anymore :)
